[Summary] This paper reported 10 patients with bilateral vocal cord paralysis from March 2013 to October 2015.The paraglottic space and arytenoid were resected with CO 2 laser.The endotracheal intubation was removed at 3 months after surgery .The patients were followed up for 1-2 years.No dyspnea or eating difficulty was seen .Patient’ s voice was normal.The cavity mucous membrane was smooth .No complications such as granulation tissue growth occurred .

Objective To observe the level change of serum SOD in patients with severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). Methods The levels of serum SOD in 66 patients with SARS were measured by RIA, and compared with controls. Results The levels of serum SOD in patients with SARS were significantly lower than those in controls, and in severe type of SARS patients were lower than those in the other types. The levels of serum SOD in the recovery stage of SARS patients increased, but still was lower than those in controls. Conclusion Excessive free radicals were produced in patients with SARS, and SOD was depleted. The level change of SOD in patients with SARS may reflect state of disease. Dynamic detection of serum SOD level is helpful for monitoring state of SARS. It may be an important therapeutic measure that excessive free radicals were eliminated from SARS patient body.

Objective To evaluate the clinic application value of detection of rPOB,katG and rPSL resistance genes to M tuberculosis by polymerase china reaction-single stranded conformation polymorphism (PCR-SSCP).Method The drug-resistance tests of M tuberculosis clinical isolates from 141 patients with the tuberculosis was analyzed by Bactec-960 rapid culture,drug-sensitive and PCR-SSCP techniques.Results As nearly As one of three patients with priliminary treatment had resistance to one kind of the drugs tested at least.The mutation rates of RFP,INH and SM drug-sensitive isolates were 6 5%,11 4% and 27 2% respectively.That of the drug-resistant isolates were 60 2%,45 7% and 62 7%.As drug-resistant concentration heightened,so mutation rate of genes increased.Conclusions Detecting the resistance genes was a new explore in guiding treatment,and multiple drug-sensitive test combinative use have cooperativity each other.It might become good test for clinical management.

Objective To determine chest ultrasound locating treatment of paraelectronic effusion by medical thoracoscopy.Methods We chose 40 Xinxiang center hospital patients in respiratory wards from June 2012 to June 2014,who was randomly divided into two teams,one was electron-assisted Thoracoscopic surgery,the other was thoracic cavity closed drainage combination of intrapleural injection of urokinase.It was 3rd reviewed by chest ultrasound,we evaluated curative effection ac cording to the drainage effect,we statisticsed two draining days and total inpatient days,and total hospital costs.The results two teams were compared between gender,age,nutritional status,effusion volume (length x width x depth),pleural effusion conventional,biochemical,lactate dehydrogenase,adenosine deaminase,carcinoembryonic antigen,the difference was not statistically significant (P ＞ 0.05).Pleural fluid culture results were negative.Medical thoracoscopy treatment group hospitalization days,drainage time was significantly shorter than the thoracic drainage combined with pleural urokinase group,The same was the cost of hospitalization.Medical thoracoscopy poor drainage treatment group was significantly lower than the thoracic drainage combined with pleural urokinase group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion To the middle-large number encapsulated paraelectronic effusion,chest ultrasound locating treatment by medical thoracoscopy early can reduce the formation of empyema,reduce the formation of pleural fiberboard.It is a safe,effective and worthy of promotion treatment.

M.tuberculosis strains isolated strains from sputum specimens of 134 patients were analyzed by PCR SSCP and traditional drug susceptibility tests. The results sbowed that the gene mutation rate of PZA, SM, RFP,INH and EMB resistance in those clinically isolated strains was 42 7%,71 7%,78 9%,68 6% and 43 9%, respectively. The gene mutation was in relation with drug resistance level of M. tuberculosis. The gene mutation rate was higher in high concentration resistance strains than in low concentration resistance strains.

Objective To investigate the distribution of ligustrazine hydrochloride in guinea pig blood, cerebrospinal fluid and perilymph fluid afte intramuscular injection. Methods The HPLC was used for determination of ligustrazine hydrochloride in guinea pig blood, cerebrospinal fluid and perilymph fluid afte intramuscular injection by internal and external standard method.Results Ligustrazine hydrochloride could be absorbed into blood rapidly after intramuscular administration in guinea pig. The concentration reach its high level in 20 min.It was 357.76 ?g/ml. It decreased to low level 2 h after injection.It could be found in cerebrospinal fluid 10 min after injection. The concentration reached its high level in 20 min.It was 120.50 ?g/ml.It decreased to low level 70 min after injection. The ligustrazine hydrochloride could be found in perilymph fluid 5 min later.Its high level in 20 min was 215.79 ug/ml.It decreased to low level 70 min after injection.The results indicated that ligustrazine hydrochloride was rapidly absorbed and eliminated after intramuscular administration in guinea pig.Conclusion Ligustrazine hydrochloride can be absorbed into blood, enter cerebrospinal fluid and perilymph fluid. It can pass through blood-brain barrier and blood-labyrinth barrier. The results indicates that ligustrazine hydrochloride is rapidly absorbed and eliminated after intramuscular administration in guinea pig.

Objective To investigate the mutation of embB and pncA genes in mycobacterium tuberculosis isolates, and assess its clinical value. Methods The drug-sensitivity of 106 clinical isolates of mycobacterial species was identified by the tranditional method, and then analyzed the mutation of their embB and pncA genes with PCR-SSCP. Mycobacterium tuberculosis strain H 37 RV was used as a control. Results The mutational frequency of pncA gene in 94 PZA-resistant mycobacterium tuberculosis was 44 6%(42/94). The mutational frequency of embB gene in 83 EMB-resistant isolates was 54 2%. The frequency of both genes mutation was 11 8%(11/94). Conclusion EMB and PZA resistances in some mycobacterium tuberculosis isolates were due to mutations of embB and pncA genes. PCR- SSCP method might become a simple and rapid diagnostic test for genotypes of EMB and PZA resistant mycobacterium tuberculosis.

Objective To observe the levels of serum sex hormone in patients with severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), in order to determine whether there were involvement of sex glands. Methods The levels of serum E2, PROG, FSH, LH and PRL were measured in 66 patients with severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) by electrochemiluminescence, and the results were compared with that of controls. Results The results showed that levels of serum E2, PROG,and FSH in patients with SARS were significantly lower than those of controls. On the other hand, the levels of serum LH and PRL were significantly higher than those of controls. The level of E2 in patients with severe type SARS was significantly lower than that in patients with mild type.The levels of sex hormones returned later than improvement of clinical symptoms. Conclusion The levels of serum sex hormones were lowered in patients with SARS, indicating that the changes in sex hormones might play a role in the disease process of SARS. Recovery of levels of sex hormones was retarded.

Objective To study the expression of MAGE-3 in colorectal cancer (CRC) with different differentiation grades. Method Immunohistochemical technique for MAGE-3 antigen was performed in paraffin embedded sections of 101 CRC specimens. The relationship between differentiation and Dukes classification of CRC and the expression of MAGE-3 antigen was analyzed. Result MAGE-3 was only expressed in tumor tissues with the total positive rate of 31.7%. The rate and intensity of MAGE-3 in poorly differentiated group were higher than that of the well differentiated group (P0.05). Conclusion MAGE-3 may be a specific molecular differentiation related marker of CRC. Its antigen may have potential use as a new peptide vaccine for immunotherapy for CRC.
