Objective To study one simple, safe and effective method of periorbital rhytidectomy. Methods With turgescent anesthesia, 1 cm -extent was dissected laterally deep under musculus orbicularis oculi at the approach of eyebrow area. The musculus orbicularis oculi was fixed to the deep temporal fascia and frontal periosteum. The superciliary corrugator muscle and depressor muscle were exposured and cut. Then the eyelid blepharoalasty was performed through the skin incision, meanwhile the lateral pars orbitalis muscle was liberated to form an orbitalis muscle flap under the orbitalis muscle and the fat pad, which was fixed to the os orbitale periost by lifting tight to lateral and upper side. For patients with generous pars buccalis and obvious nose lip ditch, the cheekbone fat cushion was also hanged and fixed. Results 65 middle age female patients were followed up for 3~16 months. The scar was no obvious, glabellar wrinkle and canthal wrinkle disappeared at static state, relaxed upper eyelid and eyebrow prolapse reached to complete correct, nasolabial groove wrinkle obvious lessened. 95 % patients were satisfacted with the appearance. Conjunctival edema was found in 4 cases, and disappeared within 1 months. There were no facial nerve injury and other complications. Conclusions It is a new incisional approach that avoids the facial nerves and lessens fossa orbitalis retrogradation. The operative procedure is simple and safe, and its incision is occult. The wound is small and restores rapidly, but the effect is reliable and lasting. It proves to be an ideal approach for face rejuvenation.

Chinese Journal of Health Policy 2015;(4):75-80
Objective:To identify the vision care access in rural primary health institutions and the utilization of vision inspections among rural residents. Methods:Survey data was collected from primary health institutions ( town-ship health centers and village clinics) and households. The descriptive statistics and multivariate regression analysis were applied to analyze data. Results:The household survey data shows that 33. 2% of rural residents self-reported having poor vision, and 22. 1% of rural residents stated that they had ever used vision care (vision screening or vison examinations) . The health facilities survey data shows that 84% of township health centers and 44% of village clinics can provide vision care. The multivariate analysis shows that the vision care access in township health centers is sig-nificantly correlated with the probability of residents’ utilization of vision care, but there is no significant correlation between the provision of vision care in village clinics and its utilization. Conclusions:The vision care access is low in rural China though there is a huge demand therefore. Inadequate supply of primary vision care services in primary health institutions may result in low utilization among rural residents. It is suggested that the government further pro-mote the National Public Health Service Program and strengthen the capacity of primary health facilities to provide primary vision care. To do so, an increase in the utilization of vision care among rural residents can be expected, which would thereby reduce potential losses caused by further vision impairment.

Objective To investigate the clinical value of high frequency ultrasound in discovering secondary pathological changes in infant with developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH).Methods Thirtyfour infants with 36 dislocation hips were involved.Among them,32 were with unilateral dislocation of hip joint,2 were with bilateral dislocation of hip joint.High frequency ultrasound were used to observe the morphological changes of hip glenoid labrum, adipose hyperplasia in acetabulum, thickness variation of articular capsule, and development of the ossification center of the femoral head.Besides, the morphological changes of hip glenoid labrum and adipose hyperplasia in acetabul were compared with those from MRI.Results The sensitivity and specificity of ultrasound in diagnosing glenoid labral introversion were 82 % and 100% respectively. The coincidence rate of diagnosing glenoid labral introversion and glenoid labral extroversion were both 83%.Adipose hyperplasias in acetabul were clearly seen in 31 hips using ultrasound. The thickness of articular capsule in the affected hip and in the healthy hip was (2.8 ± 0.6)mm versus (1.7 ± 0.4) mm,and the difference was obviously significant (P <0.01).The ossification center of the femoral head in the 34 infants were classified as the following four types:① which was smaller in the affected side than in the healthy side (22/34);②which was shown in the healthy side (7/34) but not in the affected side;③ which in both sides were not shown (4/34);④ which in both sides were small (1/34).Conclusions Ultrasound is a method of simple,rapid,non-invasive in diagnosing DDH,and it can be used to discover secondary pathological changes in infant with DDH,which provide important reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
10.Primary cilium and its role in tumorigenesis.
Journal of Zhejiang University. Medical sciences 2021;50(2):245-260
The primary cilium, a sensory organelle that protrudes from the surface of most eukaryotic cells, receives and transduces various critical signals that are essential for normal development and homeostasis. Structural or functional disruption of primary cilia causes a number of human diseases, including cancer. Primary cilia has cross talks with cell cycle and it may act as a cell cycle checkpoint to suppress cancer development. Moreover, primary cilia has cross-regulation with autophagy, which may affect tumor progression. We then discuss the association of the primary cilia with several oncogenic signaling pathways, including Shh, Wnt, Notch and platelet-derived growth factor receptor (PDGFR). Since these signaling pathways are often over-activated in many types of human cancers, primary cilia are likely to play a role in the tumorigenesis by modulating these pathways. Finally, we summarize current progress on the role of cilia during tumorigenesis and the challenges that the cilia-cancer field faces.
