China Pharmacy 2005;0(16):-
OBJECTIVE:To probe into the safety of influenza A/H1N1 vaccine. METHODS:1 200 medical staff who were vaccinated influenza A/H1N1 vaccine on Oct. 27 th of 2009 were followed up on next day. Those cases of severe hematuria and proteinuria were analyzed and reported. RESULTS:A 32 years old woman developed abdominal pain, lumbago, accompanied by frequent urination, urgency of urination and odynuria in 20 hours after vaccinated influenza A/H1N1 vaccine. Routine urine tests showed dark red turbid urine,RBC(+ + +),proteinuria(+ + +). 20 days later, the index of routine urine test returned to normal. CONCLUSION:Hematuria and proteinuria caused by influenza A/H1N1 vaccine shows rare adverse reaction while great importance should be attached to it.

Traditional Chinese Drug Research & Clinical Pharmacology 2000;0(05):-
Objective To study the anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic effects of Rhizoma Zingiberis alcoholic Extract (RZE) and to explore its in-vitro antibacterial actions. Methods Auricular swelling method in mice, typhoid and paratyphoid vaccines-induced fever in rabbits and bodytwisting test in mice were used respectively to observe the anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic effects of RZE. Results RZE could inhibit xylene-induced auricular swelling and bodytwisting response reaction induced by acetic acid in mice; RZE also reduce the vaccines-induced fever in rabbits. MIC of RZE for 8 bacterial strains ranged 13.5 mg/mL to 432 mg/mL. Conclusion RZE has a significant anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic effects and exert in-vitro antibacterial action.

Objective To construct a novel M.tb DNA vaccine (p846) co-expressing mycobacterial triple antigens including Rv3615c, Mtb10.4 and Rv2660c, and evaluate its cellular immune response and protective efficacy against tuberculosis infection in BALB/c mice. Methods We constructed the p846 by using the cloning technology. The 6- to -8-week old female BALB/c mice were randomly divided into 4 groups: p846, pcDNA3.1, PBS and the BCG group. All mice were administrated intramuscularly with 50 μg recombinant plasmids at 0, 2, 4, 6 week. A single dose of BCG was injected subcutaneously in the BCG group. Two weeks after the final immunization, 10 mice in each group were used for cell proliferation, ELISPOT and FCM assay, BCG challenge experiment and HE staining of lung were performed at 4, 6 weeks later, respectively. Results The p846 vaccine could effectively induce the specific T cell proliferation(P < 0.001) and increase the numbers of IFN-γ+T cells(P <0.001), compared with those in the PBS group and the vector conreol group. The mouse lung tissue presented very mild lung inflammation in the p846 group, compared with other groups. Conclusion Vaccine p846 could not only induce strong cellular immune response, but also efficiently protect BALB/c mice against M.tb infection.

Objective To evaluate the effect of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) knowledge and skills training on non TCM community physicians in Shanghai, and provide important basis and feedback for future adjustments and training improvement. Methods The current situation of the TCM knowledge and skills training on non TCM community physicians in Shanghai was reviewed. The community physicians participated in the training courses in 2014 in Jiading district were randomly selected for investigation. The TCM theory and skills scores of all the 65 trainees were compared before and after training, a self-made questionnaire survey on assessment of training was conducted after training, and the influencing factors of training effect were analyzed. Results After training, test results of TCM theory and skills were significantly higher than before(P<0.01). According to the survey of trainees after TCM training, 84.6% thought the training was necessary,95.4% liked the teaching form, 93.9% accredited training content difficulty level,92.3% thought the training was practical, 98.5% were willing to provide Chinese medicine services for community residents, 60.0% thought training to promote the general medical work was very helpful. The existing problems were short training periods(43.1%), only 10.8% could skilled TCM appropriate technologies and 60.0% were basically master. Conclusion The TCM knowledge and skills training on non TCM community physicians in Shanghai had achieved better effect. There still were some deficiencies, which require further exploration in order to better carry out future training.

Objective To investigate the effects of advanced glycation end products (AGEs) on NADPH oxidase expression in rats′ pancreatic cells. Methods Isets of rats were isolated and intervened with AGEs for certain times (2, 12, 24, 48 h). The Nox2 mRNA expression was assayed by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and Real-time PCR. NADPH oxidase activity was detected by lucigenin-enhanced chemiluminescence. Results Nox2 mRNA level was 1.75, 2.31-fold higher in AGEs intervened group than control at 12 h and 24 h respectively. The NADPH oxidase activity was increased by AGEs stimulation in a time dependent manner. A distinct peak was at 24 hours and then with a decline , which is still higher than that of the control. Conclusion Exposure of rat islet to AGEs induces NADPH oxidase expression and leads to injury of islet.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 1986;0(04):-
Objective To investigate the effect of triiodothyronine on the expression of alpha subunit of C protein Co (Coa) gene in cultured rat cerebral cortex neurons. Methods Primary cultured neurons of rat were prepared from the cerebral cortex at embryonic day 19. The neurons were cultured in DMEM supplemented with 15% fetal calf serum. After 7 days, the neurons were cultured in different media; DMEM supplemented with 15% fetal calf serum (group A), DMEM supplemented with 15% fetal calf serum stripped of thyroid hormone (group B), 0.5nmol/L T3-containing DMEM supplemented with 15% fetal calf serum stripped of thyroid hormone (group C) , 5nmol/L T3-containing DMEM supplemented with 15% fetal calf serum stripped of thyroid hormone (group D) and 50nmol/L T3-containing DMEM supplemented with 15% fetal calf serum stripped of thyroid hormone (group E). The neurons were cultured for another 7 days and total RNA was extracted. Goa mRNA leves were measured by competitive RT-PCR. Results As compared with group A, Coa mRNA leves in group B, D and E were low (P 0.05). Conclusion T, has dual effects on the expression of Coa gene in cultured rat cerebral cortex neurons. T3 down-regulated Coa mRNA in cultured neuron. However, in the absence of T3, Goa mRNA was also very low. Thyroid hormone may exert their action on brain development by regulating the the expression of Goa gene.
