In recent years, radiofrequency ablation technique is widely used in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery clinical work, domestic scholars preliminary study the efficacy to early glottic cancer. The review will discuss the definition and the main treatment strategy of early glottic cancer, theory and history of radiofrequency ablation technique, vocal endoscopic surgical procedures and safety margin, Clinical observation of radiofrequency ablation technique to treat early glottic cancer.

BACKGROUND:There is no consensus on the choice of anatomic plate or dynamic hip screw for the treatment of intertrochanteric fracture. Current research is limited to smal-sample studies, and it is difficult to carry out a large-sample multicenter analysis. OBJECTIVE:To carry out Meta-analysis about the literature on anatomic plate versus dynamic hip screw in the treatment of intertrochanteric fractures, in order to evaluate the efficacy of anatomic plate versus dynamic hip screw in the treatment of intertrochanteric fractures. METHODS:The PubMed database (1995-2013), EMCC database (1995-2013), CBM database (1995-2013), CNKI database (1995-2013), VIP database (1989-2013) and Wanfang database (1995-2013) were searched by computer to col ect the control ed trials of anatomic plate versus dynamic hip screw for the treatment of intertrochanteric fractures. Then, the retrieved studies were screened according to predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The quality of the included studies was evaluated to extract useful y data, and Meta-analysis was performed by using the RevMan5.0 software. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:A total of 19 control ed trials were included with a total of 1 730 cases. Among them, 764 cases were belonged to the anatomic plate group, and dynamic hip screw group included 966 cases. The Meta-analysis results indicated that there were no statistical y significant differences in fracture healing time, prognosis excellent and good rate and postoperative complications between two groups (P=0.34, 0.58, 0.80);the operative time, intraoperative blood loss and postoperative drainage volume in the anatomic plate group were lower than those in the dynamic hip screw group (P<0.000 01). The results indicate that anatomic plate and dynamic hip screw have the similar clinical efficacy for the treatment of intertrochanteric fractures, but the anatomical plate has relatively simple operation and less bleeding. Due to the poor quality of the included literatures and high bias occur and influence the effect, so more wel-designed multi-center randomized control ed trials should be performed to provide high-quality evidence.

OBJECTIVE To discuss the clinical utility of the self-made curved laryngoscope.METHODS Clinical data of 198 patients with vocal cord polyps from September 2012 to October 2014 was analyzed retrospectively in which 99 cases were treated under the self-made curved larngoscopic surgeries (curved laryngoscope group) and 99 cases were treated by microlaryngoscopic surgeries (microlaryngoscope group).The duration of follow-up was 3 months in all patients.The clinical efficacy, times of inserting laryngoscope, glottic exposure and operation complications of two kinds of operations were observed and compared.RESULTS The total clinical efficacy in curved laryngoscope group showed no significant difference as compared with that in microlaryngoscope group. But for patients with difficult laryngeal exposure,the efficacy of curved laryngoscopic surgery was significantly better compared with that in the microlaryngoscopic surgery group. The results of times of inserting laryngoscope, glottic exposure and operation complications in the self-made curved larngoscope group were all better than those in microlaryngoscope group (P <0.05). CONCLUSION The operation under the self-made curved laryngoscope is a minimal invasive procedure to the laryngeal mucosa, with such more advantages like clear view of operation field and accurate management to the lesion tissue.Furthermore, the self-made curved laryngoscopic surgery is the first choice for the treatment of patients with difficult laryngeal exposure.

Objective To investigate the effect of multidisciplinary intervenient on survival of patients with malignant tumor. Methods Six hundred and thirty-nine malignant tumor patients were randomly assigned to the intervenient and the control group. A total of 584 completed the follow-up study. The intervenient group received comprehensive treatment for 2 years,while the control group was in a process of self-rehabilitation. The 2-year survival rate was compared between the groups by using Cox proportional hazard model. Results The 2-year survival rate was 94. 74% (108/114) or 80. 67% (121/150) in II stage patients of the intervenient or control group, respectively ( P < 0. 01 ) . The 2-year survival rate was 88. 03% (163/177) or 82. 8% (184/222) in early and medium stage patients of the intervenient or control group,respectively(P <0. 01). Conclusion The multidisciplinary intervenient may help to improve the 2 year survival of early or moderate stage malignant tumors.

Objective To investigate the effect of estrogen on the pain score,c-Fos and substance P expressions in the dorsal horn of the spinal cord in the mice following formalin stimulation.Methods Fifteen C57/BL6 mice were randomized to 3 groups: control group(intact mice without estrogen treatment),OVX+V group(ovariectomized mice given vehicle) and OVX+E group(ovariectomized mice with subcutaneous injection of 2 ?g/d 17?-estradiol for 10 d).Pain score was used to assay the role of estrogen in affecting pain threshold in the mice following formalin injected into the right hind paw,and expressions of c-Fos and substance P in the dorsal horn of spinal cord(L3 to L5) in 2 h after injection of formalin was tested with immunohistochemisty to evaluate neuron activity and pain afferent fibers.Results Pain score was increased in ovariectomized mice following formalin stimulation,which was inhibited by estrogen especially in the early stage of secondary phase.The number of c-Fos-like immunoreactivity neuron(FLIN,P

Objective:To investigate lesion size caused by channel radiofrequency volumetric reduction of por-cine tongue base in vitro using the technique of three-dimensional reconstruction. And to evaluate safety about channel radiofrequency volumetric reduction of tongue base. Method: Eighteen fresh porcine tongues were randomly separated into six groups,and each group had three ones. The tongue bases were designed six points according to description of Powell. Tongues base were acted on 10 s and 6 level by Coblation radiofrequency system and were cut into serial freezing histological sections. These segments were sectioned at 20 μm on the injury lesion and stained with H & E. Collected 2D digital imagine of order histological sections, drawn and cut apart part of the le-sion of these sections. Images were procesed IPS and were taken three-dimensional reconstruction and statistics an-alyzes with SPSS10. 0. Result: The mean value of tongue base lesion volumes among points was (359. 5± 5. 6)mm~3 ,(364. 3±7. 0)mm~3 ,(363. 7±7. 2)mm~3, (354. 1±11. 8)mm~3, (349. 4±17. 2)mm~3 ,(353. 5±7. 9)mm~3 separately. Statistic analysis by one-way ANOVA showed that there was a insignificant difference between the groups(P>0. 05). Conclusion:These results demonstrated no significant effect lesion size in channel radiofrequency volumetric reduction in the different points of the tongue base. These data also indicated that coblation radiofre-quency system is a safe method for obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome.

Objective To estimate the application value of dual-source CT on preoperational evaluating new type of three branches aortic arch covered stent graft implantation on DeBakey type I aortic dissection.Methods 20 cases with DeBakey type I aortic dissec-tion prepared to performe three branches aortic arch covered stent graft implantation were reviewed,and their CT findings were ana-lyzed in order to evaluate the guiding value for operation.Results The location and size of entries were determined and the diameter of aortic arch and three branchesas well as the intervals of three branches were also measured by dual-source CT.Furthermore, blood-supply for main vessel and complications related with covered stent were further analyzed prior to operation.The surgical pro-tocols were designed according to preoperational CT findings.Among all cases,13 cases were fit for new type of three branches aor-tic arch covered stent graft implantation.While the rest cases (N=7)were adopted other operations due to non-fitted indications. Conclusion Dual-source CT is of significance for preoperational evaluating new type of three branches aortic arch covered stent graft implantation on DeBakey type I aortic dissection.

OBJECTIVE: To study the experience of clinical features and treatment of deep cervical necrotizing fasciitis. METHOD: All 29 cases of cervical necrotizing fasciitis patients were diagnosed by CT, 12 cases underwent tracheostomies, lateral neck incisions and drainage operations, the other 17 patients underwent lateral neck incisions and drainage operations. Sequently washing, dressing changes and anti infection treatments were taken. RESULT: Twenty-eight cases were cured, 1 cases died. During a follow-up of half a year,no relapse. CONCLUSION When patient was sufferd the cervical necrotizing fasciitis, surgical operation for exploration should be taken as soon as possible,and incision and drainage in the treatment of cervical abscess would obtain a satisfactory curative effect, which would prevent serious complications.

ObjectiveTo compare the results of laparoscopic and open radical operation for rectal cancer.MethodsThree hundred and twelve patients with laparoscopic operation and 226 cases with open operation during the period of June 2004 to August 2009 were included.The long-term survival,operative data,postoperative recovery and complications were compared between the two grougs.ResultsThere were no significant differences in age,sex,tumor stage and histologic types between the two groups.The 3 and 5- year-survival rate was 84.5％ and 66.7％ in laparoscopic group,83.3％ and 64.8％ in traditional operation group with no significant difference by Life-table method.The intraoperative blood loss in laparoscopic group was obviously less than that in open group (61 ± 13 nl vs 174 ±84 ml,t =23.24,P ＜0.05).The time of p assage of gas by anus and hospital stay in laparoscopic group were significantly shorter than those in openg roup (2.7 ±1.3 d vs 3.6 ±1.8 d,t =6.61,P ＜0.05;9.1 ±2.4 d vs 12.0 ±3.4 d,t =11.8,P ＜0.05).No significant difference was observed between the two groups in the lymph nodes clearance ( 11.0 ± 2.7 vs 12±3.6,t=1.72,P ＞0.05),specimen length (16.0 ±3.4 cm vs 16.0 ±4.3 cm,t =0,P＞0.05) and distal margin (3.2 ± 1.3 cm vs 3.2 ± 1.7 cm,t =0,P ＞0.05).Surgical site infection of incision developedin 28casesinopensurgerygroupandin8casesinlaparoscopicgroup(P＜ 0.05 ).ConclusionsLaparoscopic surgery for rectal cancer can achieve similar long-term survival as conventional laparotomy with minimal invasion,quicker recovery and less complications.

Objective To design a new Chinese mandarin version of speech sample text for perceptual assessment .Meth-ods The speech sample text included all phonemes and limit number of words .The correlation analysis of the constituent rati-os of all phonemes was performed between the speech text and the ones in Chinese language reported by the institute of Acous-tics Chinese Academy of Sciences using Pearson's correlation coefficient and Spearman correlation coefficient .And their differ-ences were tested by paired sample t test and Wilcoxon signed rank test .Legibility was alsotested .Results Our speech sarrple text contained 21 vowel ,38 consonant and 4 tones .The proportions of vowel ,consonant and tone in the speech text had high correlation with those in Chinese language (for proportions of vowel ,the Pearson's correlation coefficient was 0 .908 and Spearman correlation coefficient was 0 .775 ,P<0 .01 ,respectively ;for proportions of consonant ,the Pearson's correlation co-efficient was 0 .802 and Spearman correlation coefficient was 0 .808 ,respectively ,P<0 .01 ;for proportions of tone ,the Pear-son's correlation coefficient was 0 .967 and Spearman correlation coefficient was more than 0 .999 ,respectively , P< 0 .01) . There was no difference in the proportions of vowel ,consonant and tone between them(P>0 .2) .The value of legibility was 2 , indicating legibility of the speech sample text was good .Conclusion The new Chinese mandarin version of speech sample text can be used in perceptual assessment .The value for perceptual assessment still needs further clinical research .
