Purpose To investigate the significance of PET/CT in differential diagnosis of incidental thyroid benign or malignant lesions with high fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) uptake.Materials and Methods Forty cases with focal high FDG uptake lesion in thyroid accidently detected by PET/CT were retrospectively collected. The subjects were dived into physiological uptake group (n=18), benign lesion group (n=16) and malignant lesion group (n=6) according to the pathology or follow-up examinations. The average SUVmax of different groups was analyzed, and ROC curve was used todetect benign or malignant lesions. Results The average SUVmax was 3.7±1.1 in physiological uptake group, 4.9±2.3 in benign lesion group and 9.5±4.8 in malignant lesion group. Significant difference was noticed among the three groups. The average SUVmax in malignant lesion group was higher than that of the other two groups with statistical difference (P<005). No significant difference was observed between physiological uptake group and benign lesion group (P>0.05). ROC analysis showed that the sensitivity and specificity for thyroid malignant tumor were 100.0% and 87.2% at SUVmax of 8.5.Conclusion18F-FDG PET/CT plays an important role in differentiating benign lesions of thyroid from malignance, but it is not helpful to identify benign lesions from physiologic uptake.

NHL proteins, which play important roles in regulation of cell proliferation and differentiation, have been extensively studied on mammals. Here, we cloned a member of NHL protein family namely BmBrat in silkworm. The full-length cDNA sequence of BmB rat was obtained by means of the rapid amplification of cDNA ends (RACE), including 3 614 bp. The ORF is 2 580 bp long, encoding a protein with 859 amino acid residues. The molecular weight is 94.3 kDa and the isoeledtric point (pI) is 6.65. The BmBrat expression profile was detected by RT-PCR at L5D3 larval stage, and it was expressed in all tissues, including silk gland, midgut, fat body and malpighian tubule. However, it was highly expressed in ovary and head. The expression profile was also detected at different stage of embryo development, and reached a peak at the 4th and 5th days of the embryonic period. Anti-BmBrat polyclonal antibody was generated f6llowing prokaryotic expression, protein purification and mice immunization, which is highly specific and effective for recognizing BmBrat protein through Western blotting and immunofluorescence staining. Subcellular localization of BmBrat in hemocytes revealed that it was specifically expressed in cytoplasm. This study provides a foundation for further research of the biological function of BmBrat gene.

Chinese Journal of Radiology 2001;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the value of apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) of diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (DW-MRI) in distinguishing benign from malignant breast lesions. Methods ADC in 26 normal breasts, 24 malignant breast lesions, and 30 benign breast lesions confirmed by operation and pathology were calculated, respectively, and their differentiations in statistics were compared. The differentiations of different ADCs (b=1000-0, 500-0, 1000-500 s/mm2) were also compared. EPI (TR 2900 ms, TE 84 ms, thickness 5 mm) was used in order to acquire the imaging. Results There were significant differences among the ADC values of normal breast tissue, benign, and malignant lesions. The ADC of malignant lesions was lower than those of normal breast tissue and benign lesions, and the ADC of benign lesions was lower than that of normal breast tissue. There were significant differences among the ADC value of b=1000-0, 1000-500, and 500-0 s/mm2. The lower the b value, the higher the ADC. The sensitivity and specificity of ADC for the diagnosis of malignant lesion were 64% and 96.7% if the upper bound of 95% confidence interval was set as a differential level. Conclusion The differentiation of benign from malignant breast lesions by ADC is applicable, although the sensitivity is low, the specificity is high.

Journal of Geriatric Cardiology 2010;07(3):180-183
Objectives This study aimed at investigating the cellular mechanism of isoproterenol (ISO) on delayed afterdepolarizations (DADs) and triggered activity (TA) of the noninfarcted myocardium in the myocardial infarcted rabbit model. Methods Rabbits with the left anterior descending coronary artery occlusion were prepared and recovered for 8 wk (healed myocardial infarction, HMI). Myocytes were isolated from regions of the noninfarcted left ventricular free wall. ISO was added to cellular surface by perfusion way. Action potentials and ion currents were recorded with whole-cell patch clamp. Results The results showed that treatment with ISO induced more DADs and TA events in HMI myocytes. Iti and ICa-L of myocytes treated with ISO were increased significantly compared with HMI cells, which contributed to DADs-related triggered arrhythmia. Conclusions The results suggested that more arrhythmia events of DADs and TA developed in myocytes with ISO treatment. The underlying mechanism was associated with the augment of Iu and calcium influxing.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2023;44(1):6-10
Abstract
As the compositional nature of "constant sum" of physical activity, sedentary behavior and sleep are widely recognized, the methodological and result limitations of previous studies that considered physical activity, sedentary behavior, or sleep as independent influences on physical fitness and health have been highlighted. At present, physical activity guidelines of various countries have shifted from local recommendations based on physical activity amount to global recommendations based on 24 h time frame. From the perspective of time use, the content of daily schedule of children and adolescents also has the attribute of "constant sum" of compositional data, and the reduction of students homework burden and extracurricular discipline training after "double reduction" inevitably means an increase in the time allocated to other activities. From the perspective of time use, the paper focuses on physical fitness and health promotion strategies in the context of "double reduction".

Chinese Journal of School Health 2023;44(1):17-22
Objective:
To examine the relationship between 24 hour movement behavior and physical fitness of pupils by using compositional analyses, so as to provide a theoretical basis for physical activity promotion and physical fitness improvement.
Methods:
By random cluster sampling method, 120 students of grade 4 and 5 from the Second Experimental Primary School of Yingze District of Taiyuan were selected. Physical fitness was evaluated by the indicators of the Protocol of National Physical Training Standard and 20 meter shuttle run. The movement behavior was measured by accelerometer. The relationship between each behavior and physical fitness was analysed by component multiple linear regression, and the effect of replacement of components on physical fitness was discussed.
Results:
Girls 1minute situps were lower than boys(24.79±7.77,28.21±6.52),and sitting forward flexion was higher than boys[9.00(5.00,14.00),5.20(1.00,9.75)cm]( t/Z =2.60,-3.15, P <0.05). Boys showed higher light physical activity(LPA), moderate to vigorous physical activity(MVPA) and lower sedentary behavior(SB), while girls showed lower LPA, MVPA and higher SB. MVPA was positively correlated with the performance of 30 second rope skipping and 20 meter shuttle run ( β= 13.19, 7.90, P <0.05). Sleep(SLP), SB, and LPA were not significantly correlated with physical fitness. After re allocating 10 min MVPA to SB and SLP,the performance of 30 second rope skipping and 20 meter shuttle run increased by 2.25,2.28 and 1.28 ,1.34 times, respectively, while significantly decreased after reverse reallocation ( P <0.05). MVPA replaced LPA,the 20 meter shuttle run performance increased 1.46 times, while decreased significantly in reverses ( P <0.05).
Conclusion
MVPA is positively correlated with the speed and endurance of pupils. There are gender differences in movement behavior patterns and physical fitness. Children, especially girls, should be encouraged to raise exercise awareness and increase PA, especially MVPA.

ZHANG Ting, LI Hongjuan, ZHANG Zhaohua, GAO Yanhui
Chinese Journal of School Health 2023;44(1):23-27
Objective:
To systematically review the associations of physical activity (PA), sedentary behavior (SB) and sleep with obesity, as well as isotemporal substitution effects among behaviors, determined with compositional data analysis methods, to provide a reference for obesity interventions among children and adolescents.
Methods:
Studies in the CNKI, Wanfang, PubMed, SPORTDiscus, Web of Science and Medline databases were searched from January 1, 2014 to May 1, 2022. Two experienced reviewers independently completed document screening, data extraction and quality assessment.
Results:
Sixteen articles were included, with a methodological quality score range of 7-12 points. Moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA), sleep and obesity were negatively correlated, and substituting other behaviors with MVPA decreased obesity risk. The substitution time ranged from 1.5 min/day to 60 min/day. Light physical activity(LPA) and SB were positively correlated with obesity.
Conclusion
MVPA is the primary focus of obesity interventions in children and adolescents, and extra 60 min of MVPA per week on the existing level of physical activity may be the minimum necessary to decrease the risk of obesity.
