Objective To detect anti-heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A2 (hnRNP A2)/RA33 antibody by ELISA with the purified recombinant hnRNP A2 antigen. Methods The serum of 179 patients with RA, 141 patients with SLE, 97 patients with other diffused rheumatic diseases, 30 patients with seronegative spondyloarthropathies, 10 patients with osteoarthritis, 59 patients with arthralgia/arthritis and 40 controls were detected. In addition, clinical characters and laboratory indexes were compared to study the significance of anti-hnRNP A2/RA33 antibody in RA. Results The sensitivity and specificity of anti-hnRNP A2/RA33 antibody in RA were 36.9% and 87.1%. The positive rates of anti-hnRNP A2/RA33 antibody in SLE, other CTD, seronegative spondyloarthropathies and OA were 19.2%, 7.2%, 6.8% and 0. The positive rate of anti-hnRNP A2/RA33 antibody was 43.3% in early RA patients. Conclusion Detection of anti- hnRNP A2/RA33 antibody with purified recombinant hnRNP A2 antigen is a reliable method for early diagnosis of RA.

BACKGROUND: More recently, repair of skull defect with computer-designed prosthesis contributes to the revolutionary development of skull reconstruction technique. OBJECTIVE: To individually molded titanium mesh by computer-aided design (CAD) technique, and to observe the clinical application value of the titanium mesh in the repair of large-area skull defects in the fronto- temporo-parietal lobes. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING: A retrospective case analysis was performed at the Department of Neurosurgery,Liuzhou People's Hospital between January 2006 and August 2007.PARTICIPANTS: A total of 16 patients comprising 12 males and 4 females, aged 16-52 years, suffered from skull defects in the fronto-temporo-parietai lobes following standard large trauma craniotomy and were recruited into this stud Two of these patients were complicated by hydrocephalus and received ventriculoperitoneal shunt. Skull defect area ranged between 9. 2 cm ×11.2 cm and 12.2 cm×14.6 cm. Skull defect neoplasty was performed in all patients 3-8months following standard large trauma craniotomy. METHODS: Titanium mesh patches were individually modeled by CAD,computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) and rapid shaping techniques and implanted into skull defect region. In addition, defect edge was fastened with titanium nails. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Moulding effects and complications following skull defect neoplasty. RESULTS: A small amount of subcutaneous effusion was found in one patient and disappeared after liquid extraction and pressure dressing. Titanium mesh was firmly fixed with no loosening. Patients exhibited left-right symmetry, appropriate lateral curvature,no irregular umbilication or chewing dysfunction. All patients were followed for 3-18 months postoperatively and were satisfied with good resuRs,Le.,no complications, infection, material exposure, loosening,or collapse. CONCLUSION: CAD technique used for repair of skull defects is convenient, effective, and safe. This method can. reduce postoperative complications and improve repair effects.

Objective To investigate the correlation between serum renal injury molecule-1(KIM-1)and neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin(NGAL)in the remission of diabetic kidney disease(DKD)after gastric bypass surgery in obese DKD patients. Methods Seventy-nine obese patients with DKD who received gastric bypass surgery in our hospital from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected and divided into DKD remission group(n= 47)and DKD non-remission group(n=32)according to whether UACR decreased to normal level after surgery.Preoperative and postoperative general data were collected and biochemical indices, serum KIM-1 and NGAL levels were detected. Results None of the 79 obese DKD patients had intraoperative complications or switched to laparotomy.BMI,FPG,HbA1c,SBP,DBP,TC,TG,LDL-C,SUA,UACR,KIM-1 and NGAL were decreased after surgery, while HDL-C was increased after surgery(P<0.05).SBP,DBP,Scr,BUN,UACR,KIM-1 and NGAL in remission group were lower than those in non-remission group(P<0.05).Spearman correlation analysis showed that the levels of KIM-1 and NGAL were positively correlated with Scr,BUN and UACR(P<0.05),but negatively correlated with eGFR(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that SBP,UACR,KIM-1 and NGAL were influencing factors for DKD remission after gastric bypass surgery. The areas under ROC curve of serum KIM-1,NGAL and combined prediction of DKD remission were 0.801,0.757 and 0.863,respectively.Conclusion Serum KIM-1 and NGAL can predict DKD remission in obese DKD patients after gastric bypass surgery.

OBJECTIVETo explore the correlation of pulmonary expressions of fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFR1-4) with lung fibrosis and aging.
METHODSReal-time fluorescence quantitative PCR was used to detect the expression levels of FGFR1-4 in the lung tissues, and lung fibrosis was observed by HE and Masson staining in mice at different ages.
RESULTSThe 4 subtypes of FGFR showed different expression levels in the lung tissues of mice, and FGFR2 had the highest expressions. The expression levels of all the 4 FGFR subtypes in 8-month-old mice were significantly lower than those in 5-week-old mice. The 8-month-old mice tended to present with histological changes of lung fibrosis.
CONCLUSIONFGFR expressions is down-regulated with aging in mice. Among the FGFR subtypes, FGFR2 is expressed at the highest level. The occurrence of lung fibrosis with aging is probably associated with down-regulated FGFR expression. FGF/FGFR signaling may participate in the aging process and regulation of lung fibrosis.

Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2019;18(10):986-991
Objective:
To investigate the application value of augmented reality (AR) technology in pancreatoduodenectomy (PD).
Methods:
The retrospective and descriptive study was conducted. The clinicopathological data of 3 male patients who underwent PD in Tsinghua University Affiliated Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital from June 2018 to February 2019 were collected. The 3 patients were aged from 52 to 63 years, with a median age of 57 years. Digital imaging and communication standard format data of enhanced computed tomography (CT) scan were collected, the three-dimensional (3D) images of abdominal arteries, portal vein, descending duodenum, pancreatic body and tail, pancreatic head, common bile duct, and pancreatic duct were reconstructed. The results were imported into the AR software. Optical tracking based on two-dimensional codes and manual interactive rigid registration were adopted for intraoperative navigation. Observation indicators: (1) surgical and postoperative conditions; (2) postoperative pathological examination; (3) follow-up. Follow-up using outpatient examination or telephone interview was conducted to detect survival of patients and tumor metastasis and recurrence up to June 2019. The measurement data with skewed distribution were expressed as
