Chinese Journal of Nursing 2010;45(4):293-295
Objective To discuss the community-based psychological support model for people living with HIV/AIDS. Methods A community-based psychological support team was set up. The team composed of psychology experts, community volunteers, community physicians, community nurses and family members of patients. It provided psychological care and emotional support to people living with HIV/AIDS through activities such as psychological counseling, health education,anti-discrimination advocacy and peer exchanges. Results This model significantly reduced the anxiety and depression, and increased life satisfaction of people living with HIV/AIDS(P<0.01). Conclusions The community-based psychological support model has more advantages than the traditional psychological support. It gives full play to the community on AIDS prevention and control functions,as well as has great significance to mobilize social forces to control the spread of AIDS.

Objective To analyze the causes of surgical errors and complications of lumbar degenerative diseases treated by transforaminal endoscopic spine system(TESSYS),and explore the treatment and prevention measures. Methods From July 2012 to January 2016,the data of 660 patients with lumbar degenerative diseases who treated with TESSYS were analyzed retrospectively,of which 528 patients were lumbar disc herniation with 192 cases of single segment(L4/L5) and 336 cases of multi-segment.Lumbar spinal stenosis in 132 cases, were lateral recess and nerve root canal stenosis.Surgical errors and complications were recorded, and analyzed the reasons and the treatment and preventive measures. Results Intraoperative errors:1 case of sterile film with the dilating catheter went into the surgical area;1 case with wire fracture, and stump retention in vivo;for discography staining, the proportion of mixed solution was not enough, the leakage of excess concentration of methylene blue caused caudal nerve injury in 3 cases;expansion of the intervertebral foramen, the drilling part of the articular process was too deep and too close to the medial wall of the articular process, which caused cutting injury of nerve fiber sheath in 2 cases;after the rupture of the dura mater, the rinse solution was perfused, caused bloating, elevated intracranial pressure, elevated blood pressure and other symptoms of spinal cord hypertension in 3 cases;low dose of local anesthetic into the blood caused toxic reaction in 2 cases;total spinal cord anesthesia with paravertebral nerve root block in 1 case.Postoperative complications:3 cases of nerve root edema;2 cases of free nucleus pulposus tissue;2 cases of local hematoma led to nerve root compression;1 case of intervertebral space infection and 3 cases of local skin neuritis in the puncture area. Conclusion In the process of intervertebral foramen surgery, there are some deficiency on instruments or operating skill. Therefore, rigorous treatment of each link in the perioperative period,is the guarantee of successful surgery.

Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 1997;0(03):-
Objective:To evaluate the recovery effect of early enteral nutrition (EEN) in elderly patients with severe chest trauma.Methods:83 elderly patients with severe chest trauma were divided randomly into two groups, research group(46 patients) and control group(37 patients). In both groups the nutrition indicator, the complication and the recovery time were detected on admission (T1),the 1st week (T2) and 2ed week (T3) after admission. Results:After 2 weeks, the level of nutrition indicator in research group was significantly higher than in control group, and the incidence of complication was significantly lower than in control group. Conclusion:Early enteral nutritional support is helpful for the nutritional support and reduce the support of complication in elderly patients with severe chest trauma.

Objective: To evaluate the properties of PLA-PEG as a biodegradable scaffold material combined with rhBMP-2 for bone construction.Methods:PLA-PEG/rhBMP-2 multipore compound was prepared, then compression intensity and compression module were tested. The mandibular defect model was made in 20 rabbits, then PLA-PEG/rhBMP-2 was implanted into the defects on one side, and PLA-PEG without rhBMP-2 was implanted into the defect on another side as the control. The bone specimens were retrieved to make density analysis with X-ray photogram following sacrifice of the rabbits 2,4,8 and 16 weeks respectively after operation, then the specimens were decalcified to make histopathological observation by means of HE stain. Results:Compression intensity(MPa) of the PLA-PEG/(rhBMP)-2 compound was 30.05?3.12,and compression module(MPa) was 371.67?12.37.At 2,4,8 and 16 weeks, more new bone was observed, and higher intensity(P

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2000;0(06):-
Objective:To study whether the guided bone regeneration (GBR) technique can be used to achieve good bone formation in the defects of palate. Methods:Bone defect in the shape of triangle with the height of 4 cm and base line of 1.5 cm was created in the middle of palate in each of 16 adult dogs. The dogs were equally divided into experimental group(A) and control group(B). rhBMP-2/Co/ PLGA membrane was implanted in the defects in group A and the Co/ PLGA membrane in group B. The maxillary bone were observed by CT scan at 4, 8, 12 and 24 weeks after operation. The defect repair was observed by histological examination. Results:CT and histological examinations showed that new bone formation in group A was better than that in group B. 24 weeks after operation the defects in group A were completely repaired by new bone, those in group B partly repaired. Conclusion:The rhBMP-2/Co/PLGA composite membrane can be used to repair the defects in palate.

Objective A fibronectin like peptide was designed and synthesized based on the structure and function relationship study of extra cellular matrix protein in order to search after a kind of new method to improve the bioactivity of hydroxyapatite based biomaterials. Methods A peptides named P19 with two functional groups was synthesized by employing solid phase peptide synthesis. The synthesized peptides were preliminarily purified with Sephadex G 15 column chromatography and further modified with air oxidation method. The purity of P19 were determined with RP HPLC. The molecular weight of peptide was identified with TOF MS. Its binding characteristics and bioactivity was investigated. Results P19 has high affinity with hydroxyapatite and cannot be eluted under physiological condition. Its dissociation constant is 14 3?0 8?mol/L and the maximum of attached peptides by 100?g HA is 2 57?0 51nmol. It can affect the in vitro calcification of gel system. The plate pretreated with P19 can enhance the number of attached cells and the proliferation of attached cells is also promoted. The fibronectin like activity was also proved by the competitive inhibition effect of P19 on the cell attachment. It also can promote the proliferation of UMR 106 cell line. Conclusion The synthesized peptide possess two function as design, it may have extensive application prospect as an ingredients of HA based materials or coating layer of implant

Objective:To study the lethal effect of vitamin C carbon dots on oral squamous cell carcinoma KB cells, and to clarity its related mechanism. Methods: The KB cells were treated with different concentrations (5, 10, 20, 40 and 80 mg·L-1) of vitamin C carbon dots in vitro as experimental groups, and 0 mg·L-1 vitamin C carbon dots group was used as blank control group.MTT assay was used to detect the proliferation rates of KB cells in various groups;colony formation assay was used to detect the colony formation ability of KB cells;Western blotting was performed to detect the protein expression levels of autophagy related protein LC3 in KB cells in various groups;flow cytometry was used to detect the apoptotic rates of KB cells in various groups. Results: Compared with blank control group, the proliferation rates and colony formation abilities of KB cells in 20, 40 and 80 mg·L-1 carbon dots groups were markedly decreased (P<0.01).Compared with blank control group, the protein expression level of LC3 Ⅱ in 40 mg·L-1 carbon dots group was increased(P<0.05);the apoptotic rate of KB cells was markedly increased(P<0.01).Conclusion: Vitamin C carbon dots can kill the oral squamous cell carcinoma KB cells effectively, suppress the proliferation and impair the colony formation ability of KB cells, which is related to autophagy and apoptosis of KB cells.
