Objective To observe the changes of diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) after diffuse axonal injury (DAI) in rats. Methods Models of various degrees of DAI (mild, moderate and severe) were established in 135 SD rats by Marmarou method, and MRI examinations were performed 4, 8 and 24 h after injury. Another 8 rats were served as control group. The findings of MRI were analysed, and the apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values were compared among each group. Results No clear traumatic lesion was found from MRI in rats after injury. Four hours after injury, ADC values decreased in each DAI group, and there were significant differences between moderate DAI group and control group, and between severe DAI group and control group (P<0.05). Eight hours after injury, ADC values increased in each DAI group, and there was no significant difference between DAI groups and control group (P>0.05). There were significant differences in ADC values between 8 h after injury and 4 h after injury in severe DAI group (P<0.05), while there was no significant difference in moderate and mild DAI groups (P>0.05). Twenty-four hours after injury, ADC values continuously increased, especially in severe trauma group. Conclusion ADC values may reveal traumatic changes that can not be demonstrated by MRI. ADC values decrease in acute phase of DAI in rats, then increased, and the degree of variation may be related to the severity of DAI.

Objective To investigate the effect of incomplete cryoablation on the biological behavior of prostatic cancer RM-1 cells and its mechanism. Methods RM-1 cells of prostatic cancer were placed in -20℃ icebox to be frozen for 5 min. After the recovery of the cell state, the RM-1 cells were frozen again for 10 min and 15 min successively. After culture for one day,the cellular morphology was microscopically examined.A total of 20 C57/BL mice were used to establish the tumor-bearing models, which were randomly and equally divided into the control group and the incomplete cryoablation group with 10 mice in each group. At scheduled time points the tumor lesion size was measured for all mice. The mice were sacrificed at 14 days, the lung tissues were collected and were stained with lE;the numbers of metastatic lesions in the lung were calculated.Transwell assay was used to test the cell migration and invasion,immuno-blotting method was adopted to determine the epithelial-mesenchymal transition-related (EMT-related) protein expression level, and the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was employed to check the secretion volume of transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β).Results After incomplete cryoablation,RM-1 cells became disorderly arranged, their morphology was changed, and antenna structure might be formed. At 3 and 7 days after cryoablation, the tumor size in the incomplete cryoablation group was slightly smaller than that in the control group, but only the difference at 7 days after cryoablation was statistically significant between the two groups (P=0.019).At 10 and 14 days after cryoablation, the tumor volume of the two groups was almost equal. The pulmonary metastatic lesions in the incomplete cryoablation group were obviously much more than those in the control group (P<0.001).Transwell assay indicated that the cell migration and invasion ability in the incomplete cryoablation group was stronger than that in the control group (P<0.05).Immuno-blotting test revealed that, when compared with the control group,in the incomplete cryoablation group the expressions of N-cadherin,MMP-9 and Vimentin were up-regulated,while the expression of E-cadherin was downregulated.ELISA test showed that increased secretion of TGF-β was observed in the incomplete cryoablation group. Conclusion Incomplete cryoablation can enhance the migration and invasion ability of RM-1 cells, increase the number of pulmonary metastatic lesions in tumor-bearing mice, and affect the EMT-related protein expression level.

Objective To investigate the feasibility and clinical value of medical history and clinical manifestation-based protocol(MHCMP) for the diagnosis of spontaneous coronary artery dissection(SCAD)using intravascular ultrasound (IVUS).Methods Based on the MHCMP designed in our centre, intraoperative sequential analysis was performed in patients with acute coronary syndrom and clinical tip of SCAD,SCAD and its classification were defined according to the result of IVUS.Results Of the 37 patients admitted with ACS at the Cardiology Service,29 patients had SCAD as the cause(78.4 %).All the patients underwent coronary angiography and IVUS,of which 9 patiens were type I (24.3 %),15 patients were type Ⅱ (40.5%) and 5 patients were type Ⅲ (13.5%).The left anterior descending artery was the most frequently affected (16 patients),followed by the the right coronary artery (7 patients),while 5 patients had dissection of the circumflex artery and 1 patient had dissection of the left main coronary artery.Type I (evident arterial wall stain):this was the pathognomonic angiographic appearance of SCAD with contrast dye staining of the arterial wall with multiple radiolucent lumens.Type Ⅱ (diffuse stenosis of varying severity):this angiographic appearance was not well appreciated and was often missed or misdiagnosed.SCAD commonly involved the mid to distal segments of coronary arteries, and could be so extensive that it reached the distal tip. There was an appreciable (often subtle) abrupt change in arterial caliber, with demarcation from normal diameter to diffuse narrowing. This diffuse and usually smooth narrowing could vary in severity from inconspicuous mild stenosis to complete occlusion.Type Ⅲ (mimic atherosclerosis):this appearance was the most challenging to differentiate from atherosclerosis and most likely to be misdiagnosed, while IVUS was helpful for the differential diagnosis. Conclusions MHCMP is able to screen out all kinds of SCAD and guide the treatment decisions making.

With the increasing number of Chinese medical aid and the overseas development of Chinese medicine, acupuncture has spreaded to and the Republic of Guinea and saw develoment. At present, only China Guinea Friendship Hospital and Astatin Hospital have set up Acupuncture Department, which have equipped with basic acupuncture instruments and acupuncture is used as the main treatment method, and acupuncture is a self funded project. There is no acupuncture major in the local education system, neither laws and regulations on acupuncture and moxibustion. Language barrier also makes it difficult for doctors in the two countries to communicate. Thus, it is recommended to consider geographic, diet, and medical factors when formulating acupuncture treatment plans which are suitable for local conditions, and launching new projects such as laser acupuncture treatment and ear concha electroacupuncture treatment, while improving the language level of foreign aid physicians, designing suitable teaching materials, and using multimedia technology for teaching. Besides, we should promote legislation, conduct academic and cultural exchanges, so as to better promote the development of acupuncture and moxibustion in Guinea.

Cardio-oncology is an emerging cross-discipline, which has received extensive attention and rapid development at home and abroad in recent years, while the construction of related disciplines in the field of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is still in its initial stage. By sorting out the construction of oncology and cardiology related disciplines at home and abroad at this stage, and clarifying the significance and main research contents of the discipline, it is proposed that the construction of TCM related disciplines should be oriented to the four main aspects, including clinical practice, scientific research, talent training and promotion of cultural characteristics. Therefore, actively carrying out multidisciplinary crossing, cultivating related professional talent team, and forming TCM diagnosis and treatment guidelines or consensus to support clinical practice is the essential foundation for the construction of TCM cardio-oncology discipline. Meanwhile, fully exploring the characteristics and advantages of TCM is the key to the construction process of the discipline, such as writing and summarising and analysing relevant high-quality clinical case reports of TCM for evidence-based optimisation, as well as widely applying the concept of "treating disease before it arises" of TCM characteristics to the clinical prevention and treatment of the relevant diseases and scientific research, etc., so as to comprehensively guarantee the development of the discipline of TCM cardio-oncology.
