Objective To study the superiority and safety of cup-shaped womb manipulator auxiliary peritoneoscope in entire womb excision. Methods 180 cases with hysterectomy were randomly divided into cup-shaped womb manipulator auxiliary peritoneoscope group(treatment group) and tradition into the abdominal group( control group) ,and the amount of bleeding and postoperative complications,and patient recovery were observed in the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the quality of life of patients with anal exhaust time, average length of staying, postoperative recovery daily time were significantly improved, and there were statistically significant differences between two groups ( P ＜ 0. 05 ). There was no serious complication in the two groups. Conclusion Cup-shaped womb manipulator auxiliary peritoneoscope hysterectomy was a safe and feasible operation,and could relieve harm and improve patients quality of life.

Objective To observe the efficacy of growth hormone ( GH) co-treatment in poor responders undergoing IVF-ET.Methods To analyze all the ovaries low response patients treated by IVF/ICSI,80 cases were ran-domly divided into two groups:40 patients in GH group were given GH along with Gn daily until the HCG administra-tion.40 patients in the control group received the same treatment protocol except the GH co -treatment.The catching spawn number and MⅡova,fertile rate,the number of perfect embryos ,pregnant rate were observed .The serum con-centrations of IGF-I,IGFBP-3 were detected by ELISA and compared between the two groups .Results The number of oocytes retrieved ,number of MII oocytes ,cleavage ,number of embryos available of GH group were increased without statistical significance(all P>0.05 ).The serum IGFBP-3 level of 2 groups had no statistical significance .The fertile rate,pregnant rate ,serum IGF-I level were significantly higher in GH group than those in the control group ( all P<0.05).Conclusion GH co-treatment in poor responders could improve the outcome of IVF-ET,which imply that GH could improve the quality of oocytes and embryos related to the elevated IGF-1 level in serum .

[Objective] To observe the clinical efficacy of treatment on Frequent Postoperative Posner-Schlossmann syndrome in cataract intraocular lens using Chinese medicine with the effect of tonifying the liver and kidney, nourishing yin and suppressing hyperactive yang.[Methods] 46 cases of Posner-Schlossmann syndrome were randomly divided into two groups, one was the Chinese Medicine group ,in which al cases were treated with Chinese herbs and local eyedrop at the time of first onset after operation; another was the control group, in which al cases were treated with local eyedrop. [Results] Within two years after treatment, compared with the control, in the Chinese Medicine group, the cases of recurrence of Posner-Schlossmann syndrome were obviously decreased. [Conclusion] Chinese medicine with the effect of tonifying the liver and kidney, nourishing yin and suppressing hyperactive yang shows definite effect on postoperative Posner-Schlossmann syndrome, it can decrease the occurrence frequency of number.

Objective To explore the relationship between the HBV‐DNA ,ALT ,AST and NO ,iNOS ,SOD levels in serum of patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB) .Methods 24 patients with mild CHB ,30 patients with moderate CHB ,18 patients with se‐vere CHB and 30 healthy individuals were selected and set in group A ,B ,C and D ,respectively .The serum levels of HBV‐DNA , ALT ,AST ,NO ,iNOS ,and SOD were detected by FQ‐PCR and chemical analysis respectively .Results There were significant difference in the levels of ALT ,AST ,NO ,iNOS and SOD between group D and group A ,B and C (P<0 .05) .The serum level of ALT was positive relative to the levels of NO and iNOS(r=0 .487 ,0 .521 ,P<0 .05) ,and was negative relative to the level of SOD (r= -0 .574 ,P<0 .05) .The serum level of AST was positive relative to the levels of NO and iNOS(r=0 .453 ,0 .545 ,P<0 .05) , and was negative relative to the level of SOD(r= -0 .484 ,P<0 .05) .Conclusion With the increase of ALT and AST levels ,the levels of NO and iNOS increase ,and the level of SOD decreases simultaneously in CHB patients .It is suggested hepatocellular inju‐ry .

Objective To investigate G. Pentaphyllums influence on the activity of glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX) and catalase (CAT) in the skin of hireless photoaging mice, as well as the content of hydroxyproline (HYP). At the same time, G. Pentaphyllum's effect on the hireless photoaging mice was studied. Methods Healthy KM hireless mice were randomly divided into five groups. A skin photoaging model was established by G. Pentaphyllum administration. The changes of the activity of GSH-PX, CAT and the contents of dermal hydroxyproline in the skin were then measured by biochemical methods in each group of the experiment. Results In the model group, the activity of GSHPX, CAT and the content of HYP of skin were all decreased significantly (P＜0. 05). And there were different degrees of improvements in those of the herb given groups. Conclusion G. Pentaphyllumhas the protective effect on the skin of the photoageing in the hairless mice. The mechanism may be that G. Pentaphyllum could inhibit the oxidative damages of ultraviolet and skin photoaging by increasing the synthesis of collagen in skin.

Methods Serum uric acid, creatinine (Cr), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), fasting gluose (FG), total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG) were detected in 1073 subjects with hyperuricemia and 1235 subjects with normal serum uric acid as control of middle and elder groups. Results The means of Cr, BUN, FG, TG ,TC in hyperuricemia were significantly higher than those in the control group,respectively (males: t′ =7. 508,P ＜0.05;t′ =9. 484,P ＜0.05;t=6.208,P＜0.05;t′ =7.055,P ＜0.05;t = 5. 097,P ＜0.05;females;t′ = 11.221,P ＜0.05;t′= 8.314,P ＜0.05 ;t =5. 641 ,P ＜0.05 ;t′ =8. 328 ,P ＜0.05 ;t =7. 227 ,P ＜ 0.05). In same age group compared of all the indices were similar with male. Conclusions The mechanism of serum uric acid increasing are different in middle age and elderly age. In middle age, it is metabolic disturbance. However,in elderly age it is descending of the kidney function.

Objective To use autologous costicartilage trestle to correct secondary cleft lip nasal deformity,in order to obtain a nice nose.Methods A total of 64 patients were treated,including 51 unilateral and 13 bilateral cleft lip,aged 16 to 38 years,with the average of 21 years.The deformity included cripetura columellar,flattened nasal tip,anisopleural nostril and caved nosewing.The carven costicartilage was embedded into bilateral nasal septum to form a new trestle for remodelling the shape of nose and nasal tip.Results The follow-up time was 3 months to 2 years,showing that all patients were satisfied with the outline of external nose,without infection and costicartilage revealed.Conclusions The autologous costicartilage is easy to collect without rejection reaction,and therefore it can be used in correcting secondary cleft lip nasal deformity with fair improvement of nasal outline,especially in nasal tip height.

Objective To investigate the clinical features of and gene mutations in a Chinese Han pedigree with piebaldism. Methods Clinical data were collected with informed consent from a pedigree with piebaldism, processed and documented. A clinical genetic analysis was conducted and pedigree chart was drawn. Genomic DNA was extracted from the peripheral blood of 14 patients and 40 unaffected individuals in the family as well as 50 unrelated human controls, and subjected to the amplification of 21 exons and flanking sequences of the KIT gene by PCR. Sequence analysis was performed by Mutation SurveyorTM. Results There were 73 members in the family, and of them, 14 were diagnosed with piebaldism according to typical clinical features. Piebaldism was inherited in an autosomal dominant pattern in this family. A heterozygous 4-base insertion mutation 1900insATGA in exon 13 of KIT gene was identified in all the 14 affected family members, which resulted in a frame-shift mutation at codon 634 and produced a premature translation termination codon. This mutation was undetected in either the unaffected family members or unrelated controls. Up to the time of this writing, this mutation had not been previously reported. Conclusion The novel mutation 1900insATGA in the KIT gene may be the cause of clinical phenotype of piebaldism in the family.
