Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of the high-intensity focused ultrasound therapy in patients with colorectal liver metastases. Methods 28colorectal lesions in 16 patients with liver metastases after HIFU treatment lines observed patient vital signs, the main organ, imaging studies (CT or MRI,etc. ) ,complications and prognosis of cancer cases. Results All patients with stable vital signs after treatment, liver, kidney function was normal,6-month follow up, six more than 80% reduced lesion size, lesion size decreased in 18 of 30% to 50% ,4tumor volume did not change significantly; 16 patients, 1 patient was lost. 15 cases were followed uPfor 6 to 24 months,5 patients were transferred because of lesions disseminated in death within 6 months after surgery, calculated with the Kaplan-Meier median survival time was 13 months; 1 patient skin burning streak marks, healed after 1 week after treatment. 1 patient treatment areas of the chest skin, mild subcutaneous edema. Conclusion The treatment of patients with liver metastasis of colon cancer lesions was a non-invasive, safe and effective treatment.

Objective:To explore influence of hyperglycemia on hospitalization and follow‐up prognosis in patients with acute ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI ) undergoing direct percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) .Methods :A total of 218 patients ,who were diagnosed as STEMI and received emergency PCI within 12h af‐ter onset from our hospital ,were enrolled .According to blood glucose level at hospitalization and OGTT results , they were divided into normal blood glucose (NBG) group (n= 108) ,hyperglycemia group (n= 60) and diabetes mellitus (DM) group (n=50) .Cardiac function indexes were evaluated ;Logistic regression analysis was used to an‐alyze influencing factors for mortality in these patients .Results:Compared with NBG group , the in‐hospital mortal‐ity was significant rise (1.9% vs .10.0% ) in DM group ;there were significant rise in percentages of ≥double‐vessel coronary disease (41.2% vs .68.8% vs .66.7% ) and ≥2 stents implanted (14.72% vs .50.0% vs .55.6% ) in women in hyperglycemia group and DM group (P<0.05 or <0.01);Multi‐factor Logistic regression analysis indi‐cated that Killip class ,NT‐proBNP ,number of diseased vessels and body mass index were independent risk factors of in‐hospital mortality of these patients (OR=1.012~5.923 ,P<0.05 all) ,and female was a strong independent risk factor for in‐hospital mortality and mortality within one‐year follow‐up (OR=20.376 ,7.227 ,P<0.01 both) .Con‐clusion:The mortality significantly rises in STEMI patients undergoing emergency PCI complicated with hyperglyce‐mia ,especially in female patients .

Purpose To investigate the location and distribution of EV71 receptors scavenger receptor class B member 2 ( SCARB2 ) and human P-selectin glycoprotein ligand-1 (PSGL-1) in lung tissues of fatal hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD), healthy children and adults. Methods The expression of EV71 receptors SCARB2 and PSGL-1 was detected by using immunohistochemistry in lung tissues of 15 autopsies of HFMD, 3 of healthy children, 8 of healthy adults. Results SCARB2 distributed in bronchial, bronchioli ep-ithelia, alveolar epithelial cells and inflammatory cells among HFMD, healthy children and adults. No significant difference was noted of the positive rates of SCARB2 expression among these three groups (P>0. 05). PSGL-1 distributed in bronchial and bronchioli epi-thelium of adults, but no PSGL-1 expression was found in HFMD and healthy children. The positive rates of PSGL-1 were 100%, 0, 0 in bronchial and bronchioli epithelium among the three groups, respectively (P<0. 05). The positive rates of PSGL-1 were 100%, 66. 7%, 100% in inflammatory cells among HFMD, healthy children and adults, respectively. No significant difference was noted of PSGL-1 expression among the three groups (P>0. 05). Further, no PSGL-1 expression was observed in alveolar epithelia cells of all groups tested. Conclusions EV71 receptor SCARB2 distributes in bronchial, bronchioli, alveolar epithelial and inflammatory cells of HFMD. Meanwhile, PSGL-1 only distributes in inflammatory cells of HFMD, suggesting that SCARB2 possibly plays a role on HFMD infection.

Objective To treat radial head fractures with open reduction and internal fixation, removal of the radial head and artificial joint replacement based on different fracture types to discuss the outcome of these methods and summarize optimal strategy for treatment of radial head fractures. Meth-ods A retrospective study was done on data of 47 patients with 48 radial head fractures treated in our de-partment from November 1999 to May 2008. Among them, nine patients were treated conservatively (all type Mason Ⅰ fractures), 28 treated with open reduction and internal fixation (one patient with type Ma-son Ⅰ fracture, 14 with type Mason Ⅱ and 13 with type Mason Ⅲ), eight with removal of radial head (three patients with type Mason Ⅲ fractures and five with type Ⅳ) and three with artificial joint replace-ment (all type Mason Ⅳ fractures). Results All patients were followed up for average 2.8 years (1-4.4 years). Two patients treated with artificial joint replacement were followed up for six months and three months respectively. According to the Mayo Elbow Performance Index, the excellence rate was 8/9 in conservative treatment, 82% (23/28) in open reduction and internal fixation, 6/8 in removal of the radial head and 3/3 in artificial joint replacement respectively. Conclusions The radial head fracture should be given anatomical reduction for early functional exercise. Conservative treatment can be used for type Mason Ⅰ fractures, open reduction and internal fixation for type Mason Ⅱ , type Mason Ⅲ fractures and part of type Mason Ⅳ fractures. The removal of radial head or mental prosthesis replacement are al-ternative for parte of type Mason Ⅳ fractures that can not attain stable fixation through open reduction and internal fixation.

Objective:To produce 161Tb from enriched 160Gd 2O 3 isotope-enriched target material and realize domestic production of the novel medical isotope 161Tb. Methods:The 160Gd 2O 3 isotope-enriched target material was irradiated with neutrons by the China Mianyang Research Reactor (CMRR). The no-carrier-added 161Tb product was obtained after the processes of target broken, sample dissolution, separation and purification with lanthanide (LN) resin and solution replacement with diglycolamide (DGA) column. Various key indicators such as γ spectral purity, metal impurity content, specific activity, radiochemical purity, and radioactive concentration were used to conduct the quality inspection and the control of 161Tb products. Results:161TbCl 3 of 33.4 GBq was obtained in a single time with the radioactive concentration of 16.8 GBq/ml, nuclear purity more than 99.9%, and radiochemical purity of 99.2%. Metal impurity content was met the established standards, with the specific activity of 6.02×10 17 Bq/mol. The radiochemical purities of 161Tb labeling with 1, 4, 7, 10-tetraazacyclododecane-1, 4, 7, 10-tetraacetic acid- D-Phe1-Tyr3-Thr8-octreotide (DOTATATE) after 0 and 72 h were 100% and 95.8% respectively. Conclusion:The preparation of no-carrier-added 161Tb by using LN resin has the advantages of high separation performance and high sample loading, which has great significance in the field of medical isotope preparation and lays a good nuclide guarantee for the research and development of domestic 161Tb-labeled drugs.
