Objective To evaluate the effect of wound experts′ intervention on the primary caregivers′ behavior of caring patients with pressure ulcers. Methods According to the principle of convenience sampling, 200 cases of patients with out-hospital pressure ulcers were collected in the hospital emergency department between December 2013 and December 2015. Each 100 cases were randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group according to odd even packet. Primary family caregivers in the intervention group were implemented the additional behavioral intervention by professional wound experts on the basis of the conventional education, while the control group only with conventional education. Primary caregivers′behavior score in the intervention group were compared in 1 month and 2 months. And the differences of recovery rate and incidence of pressure ulcers were compared between intervention group and control group. Results The recovery rate of pressure ulcers in intervention group was 59% (59/100) ,which was significantly higher than 32% (32/100) of the control group (χ2=14.690, P=0.000), and the incidence of pressure ulcers rate was 24% (24/100) in intervention group which was significantly lower than 39%(39/100) in the control group (χ2=5.214,P=0.022). Primary caregivers′behavior scores in the intervention group were (48.27±6.12) points after 1 month and (46.18± 4.44) points after 2 months, while those in the control group were (44.15 ± 4.33) points and (43.33 ± 5.67) points, respectively, and the difference of behavior scores in different time-points were statistically significant (F=18.93, P < 0.01). Moreover, the difference of behavior scores was also statistically significant between intervention group and control group (F=5.512, P < 0.05). Conclusions Wound experts′ intervention on home primary caregivers can effectively help improve caregivers′ behavior, promote the healing of pressure ulcers, and reduce the occurrence of complications.

Effects of antineoplastic agents on endocrine system are common, but it is difficult to identify since clinical complaints are subtle, and even more difficult to relate a particular chemotherapeutic regimen to the induced endocrine disturb. This review was organized according to the pattern of endocrine system diseases induced by antineoplastic agents, such as disorders of glucose metabolism, free water clearance, mineral metabolism, lipid metabolism and GH secretion and growth, metabolic bone diseases, adrenal dysfunction, thyroid disorders and reproductive dysfunction. Early detection and treatment of endocrine deficiency may have a significant impact on the quality and duration of life in a cancer survivor.

Objective Investigation of the clearance rate of RBC in cerebral spinal fluid(CSF)after lumber subarachnoid space continuous drainage following subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH)and the relationship with cerebral vasospasm(CVS) were carried out. Methods An experimental SAH was achieved in dogs by twice injecting fresh autologous arterial blood into cisterna magna of each animal.RBC counts in CSF were measured in the drainage group, puncture group and control group respectively.The degrees of CVS were analyzed through cerebral angiography(%reduction of basilar artery diameter,%RBAD). Results Comparing with puncture group and control group, the drainage group showed a significantly higher clearance rate of RBC with lesser occurrance and degree of CVS. Conclusions RBC and its degeneratives in CSF may be involed in the process of CVS following experimental SAH. Continuous lumber subarachnoid space drainage may prevent CVS.

Objective To explore our clinical experience on treatment of intracranial and extracranial arterial stenosis using multiple stents placement. Methods 17 stents were deployed into 12 arteries in 8 patients with intracranial and extracranial arterial stenosis. We utilized self expanding stents in extracranial carotid arteries and balloon expanding stents for intracranial arteries or vertebral arteries. Results All procedures were performed successfully and all stenoses were dilated and improved. Short term follow up angiogram revealed only one vessel occlusion and no significant restenoses in other stented vessels together with no recurence of clinical symptoms. Conclusions Multiple stents placement is a valid alternative for the treatment of intracranial and extracranial arterial stenoses.

Objective To develop a new,three dimensional dynamic system for pulse detection.Methods According to bionics,a multi-information sensing mode with a soft surface is designed on the basis of traditional Chinese medical diagnosis in pulse.This mode imitates the touching sense of human finger and with the application of modern computer information processing technique,the pulse information is extracted in the way that is as close as possible to the traditional Chinese medicine pulse diagnosis.Results With the application of new sensor,pulse signal is detected and the effectiveness of the inovative three-dimension data transimition mode is validated since the pulse signal is three-dimensionally re-displayed on the computer screen.Conclusion The method introduced in this paper is proved feasible for detecting pulse information.Expected results are obtained and the method provides a new way and new feature reference for research and teaching in objectifying the diagnosis of traditional Chinese medical sciences.

Objective To study formulation and characteristics of self-microemulsifying drug delivery system for breviscapine(BRV-SMEDDS).Methods The optimum formulations of BRV-SMEDDS were screened by solubility tests,formula compatibility,and pseudo-ternary phase diagrams.And the physicochemical characters,dissolution in vitro and in situ rat's intestine absorption of BRV-SMEDDS were also observed.Results The optimum formulation of SMEDDS was composed of Maisine 35-1-Cremophor RH40-PEG400-TEA=25∶40∶35∶7.The particle diameter was 88.6 nm.The percent of accumulated dissolution of BRV in SMEDDS in vitro was up to 97.8% at 1h,which was 8.0 times as much as that of BRV powder,and 5.1 times as BRV tablets.In the tests of in situ rat's intestine absorption,the permeability coefficient of BRV-SMEDDS was increased by 3.4 times as much as BRV powder,and 3.3 times as BRV tablets.Conclusion The dissolution and absorption of BRV is improved by formulation of SMEDDS.It could provide reference for the new dosage form of BRV.

ObjectiveTo study the effect of platelet aggregation rate (PAR) level on the prognosis of percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PCI).MethodsFour hundred and one patients who performed PCI were divided into 4 groups:group 1 (PAR≤30％,103 cases),group 2 (PAR 31％ - 40％,102 cases),group 3 (PAR 41％ - 49％,103 cases ) and group 4 (PAR ＞ 49％,93 cases ).All the patients were followed up.The survival analysis was performed in 4 groups.ResultsThe data of survival table were tested by 3 methods among 4 groups:statistic was 0.612,degree of freedom was 3,P =0.894 in Log-rank (Mantel-Cox) test,statistic was 0.567,degree 9f freedom was 3,P =0.904 in Wilcoxon test and statistic was 0.586,P =0.900 in Tarone-Ware test.There was no significant difference among them.The mean follow-up duration was 2.2 years,and there was no significant difference in survival function among 4 groups (P ＞0.05).ConclusionPreoperative and postoperative measurement of PAR levels may not improve the prognosis.

Objective To study the effect of Thy-1.1 stem cell transplantation on endothelial hyperplasia and restenosis.Methods Thirty 4-6 weeks male SD rats were sacrificed to obtain the Thy-1.1 stem cells.Carotid artery were injured by ballon in sixty female SD rat's were randomized to receive stem cell transplantation(5?10~6 Thy-1.1,n=30)or saline approach(n=30).About 5?10~6 Thy-1.1 stem cells were injected into the injured arter- y after carotid artery injury;while the control rats underwent carotid artery injury and was injected the same amount of saline.The animals were sacrificed,3,7,14,21 and 28 days after balloon denudation.The samples of carotid artery were harvested for pathological examination,RT-PCR and in situ hyhridzation(ISH)were used to detect the transplanted cells in the injured artery.Results The intimal thickness was thinner in stem cell transplantation group(I/M,Stem cell transplantation group:2.06?0.28 vs control group 2.42?0.19,P

Objective:To construct a esophageal cancer module with Chinese characteristics based on MD Anderson Symptom Inventory (MDASI) public scale, develop the Perioperative Esophageal Cancer Symptoms Assessment Scale combining above two parts.Methods:The original item pool was formulated through literature review, clinical interviews, and reference of existing symptoms assessment tools. After two rounds of expert evaluation and pilot survey, the preliminary Perioperative Esophageal Cancer Symptoms Assessmment Scale was developed combining Chinese MDASI (MDASI-C). A total of 150 perioperative esophageal cancer patients was assessed using the new scale, the included items were analyzed one by one, the reliability, validity and sensitivity of scale were checked.Results:Feasibility: the scale recovery was 100%, the completion rate of scale was 93.75%, the average completion time was 10 min. Reliability: the value of Cronbach α of the esophageal cancer module, MDASI-C, the combined scale were 0.747, 0.894, 0.883, respectively. Validity: the range of content validity index of items was 0.83-1.00, the scale-level content validity index average value was 0.93. Two common factors, which explained for 67.994% of variance, were extracted by exploratory factor analysis, the validity of criterion had statistical significance ( P<0.05). Sensitivity: the scores of the esophageal cancer module were significantly different among perioperative esophageal cancer patients with different Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status ( H value was 9.264, P<0.05). Conclusions:The Perioperative Esophageal Cancer Symptoms Assessment Scale has good feasibility, reliability, validity and sensitivity, it is suitable for symptoms assessment of Chinese perioperative esophageal cancer patients.

Objective To study the morphological changes of diaphragm of rats with omethoate poisoning and the protection of penehyclidine hydrochloride.Methods The experimental model of Wistar rats was made by eliac injection ofomethoate,96 rats was divided randomly into four groups in average:the hrinematched control group (Group NO);the omethoate intoxication matched control group (Group PO);atropine and pralidoxime chloride cure group (Group AC); penehyclidine hydrochlofide and pralidoximc chloride cure group (Group PC).The whole blood cholinesterase (ChE) and creatinekinase (CK) activtitise were measured 2 h after poisoning.To observe the morphological changes of diaphragmat different time from 1 to 7 days.Results All the poisoned rats showed that the diaphragmatic histologic damage of the penehyclidine hydrochloride and pralidoxime chloride cure group was slighter than that of atropine cure group.Conclusion A possible reasons of the respiratory muscle paralysis conduced by AOPP was the putrescence of diaphragm muscle fiber, and penehyclidine hydrochloride could definitely protect the diaphragm of rats with omethoate poisoning,and we could deduce that it prevented from intermediate myasthenia syndrome.
