Objective To elucidate clinical and pathological features of obesity-associated focalsegmental glomerulosclerosis(FSGS). Methods Clinicopathological data of thirteen obese cases (BMI3≥28kg/m2) with FSGS(OB-FSGS) and thirteen non-obese cases(BMI
5.Expression of human leucocyte antigen in ectopic endometrial tissue of endometriosis
Chinese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2001;0(08):-
Objective To investigate the human leucocyte antigen (HLA) expression of ectopic endometrial epithelial cells in cases with endometriosis and its role in pathogenesis of endometriosis Methods By immunohistochemical analysis,HLA expression was observed in ectopic endometrial epithelial cells of 25 endometriosis patients Ectopic endometrial cells were cultured in vitro successfully and the expression of HLA were analyzed by flow cytometry in 10 out of the 25 patients Eutopic endometrium of 15 normal women were taken as control Results (1)Expression of HLA class Ⅰ molecule on ectopic endometrial epithelial cells of endometriosis measured by the immunohistochemical analysis was lower than those of controls, (4 0?0 5) score and (1 2?0 8) score respectively So was the expression rate by flow cytometry in vitro culture (63 38?11 88)% and (5 27? 2 88)% respectively ( P

Objective To explored the effects of vehicle exhaust on the cardiovascular system in a panel of 32 middle and old aged people,to discover the sensitive effect indicators of vehicle exhaust. Methods Thirty-two middle and old aged people living near a main road were followed-up,The health-related indicators and individual time-weighted outdoor exposure concentration of air pollutants were determined; The mixed model was used to evaluate association between vehicle exhaust and health indicators of cardiovascular system. Results In single-pollutant models,TNF-? was positively associated with PM10,SO2,NO2 and FVC,IL-6 was negative. The indicators of heart rate variability(HRV) in SDNN(?:-0.57,SE:0.18) ,SDNN index(?:-0.74,SE:0.20) had a strong association with PM10,and NO2 related indicators was SDNN index(?:-0.66,SE:0.17) . In the multi-pollutant model, after adjusting the effect of other pollutants,IL-6 had a positive correlation with PM10;And TNF-? was positively correlated to NO2,SO2;FVC had a negative correlation with PM10. Conclusion The air pollutants of this location show a vehicle exhausts characteristic, and the pollution is serious;TNF-?,IL-6,FVC,SDNN,SDNN index are closely related to exposure of the vehicle exhaust, and can be used to evaluate the effects of vehicle exhaust pollution on the cardiovascular system of the elderly.

Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2001;0(09):-
Objective\ To investigate the effect and safety of LMWH on treatment of nephrotic syndrome(NS).Methods\ We randomized 43 patients with primary NS into 2 groups.Steroid and cyclophosphamide were given in control group.LMWH with the dosage of 3200~5000IU twice per day was added in the treated group.Results\ After 4 to 6 weeks of treatment,a significant increase in AT-Ⅲ,anti-Xa activity and serum albumin and decrease in fibrinogen and proteinuria were observed in LMWH.Conclusion\ LMWH should be recommended as a useful treatment of NS.

Objectives To investigate the incidence of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) of lower limbs and pulmonary embolism (PE) caused by hypercoagubility in patients with nephrotic syndrome and to estimate the indication and clinical effect of anticoagulation therapy. Methods 54 patients with nephrotis syndrome(thirty-one males and twenty-three females with mean age: 44 13?15 88, 24 hours proteinuria:8 43?5 64g, albuminemia: 20 48?5 41g/L) were enrolled in this study.DVT of lower limbs and PE were confirmed by radionuclide imaging (RNV) with 99mTc-MAA and the clinical effect of subcutaneous injection of low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) and oral antiplatelet coagulation therapy were evaluated as well. Results 41 out of 54 cases (76%) had DVT of lower limbs, 14 8% of which had clinical manifestations. 32 out of 54 cases (59 25%) had PE, 7 4% of which had symptoms. 70 7% of PE were caused by DVT of lower limbs. No patient died of PE after the LMWH treatment. Conclusions DVT is one of the most important complications of NS. RNV can be used to make early diagnosis of DVT of lower limbs and PE. Early anticoagulation therapy might ameliorate the prognosis of NS and lower the mortality of PE.

Objective To observe the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris with narrow-band ultraviolet B and self-made traditional Chinese medicine fumigating. Methods A total of 100 patients with psoriasis vulgaris were randomly recruited into a treatment group and a control group,50 patients in each group. The control group was treated with narrow-band ultraviolet B:on this basis, the treatment group was treated with self-made traditional Chinese medicine fumigating. The therapeutic effeCts of both groups were observed. Results As compared with the control group.the treatment group showed better therapeutic effects(P<0.05).Conclusion It was effective to treat psoriasis vulgaris with narrow-band ultraviolet B combined with self-made traditional Chinese medicine fumigating.

Objective To observe the therapeutic effects of treating shingles with venesection and cuppingplus Yunnan White Powder external application and to observe the effect of mental intervention and nursing on clinical healing time. Methods 100 cases with shingles were randomly recruited into two treatment groups(Group A and Group B)and a control group. Both treatment groups were treated with venesection and cupping plus yunnan white powder external application,in addition, group B was treated with mental intervention and nursing care. The control group was treated with Aciclovir ointment. Results As compared with the control group, both treatment groups showed significant difierences in the time of relieving pain, removing swell, forming a scab, and healing(P<0.01);Compared with group A,group B showed a shortened healing time with P<0.05.Conclusion It is effective to treat shingles with venesection and cupping plus yunnan white powder.Mental Intervention and nursing can promote the healing time and improve the degree of satisfaction.
