ObjectiveTo evaluate the clinical effect of hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) on hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage.Methods100 patients treated with HBO were taken as treatment group, and other 50 patients without HBO as control group. Their effectual rate were compared.ResultsThe total effectual rate of treatment group was 61%,and that of control group was 42%(χ2=4.86,P<0.05).ConclusionHBO can improve the recovery of nervous disorder after hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage.

Objective To establish a cell level-based negative enrichmen technique to detect circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in the peripheral blood of patients with epithelial ovarian cancer.Methods The colon cancer SKOV-3 cells were mixed with 2 ml whole blood from healthy donors at different ratio.Quantification of CTCs was performed using immunomagnetic bead based negative enrichment combined with immunofluorescence antibody method.The method was evaluated the recovery rate of target cells,Samples of 32 patients with ovarian cancer and 10 controls were assayed for CTCs detection by above method.Results ①The recovery rate was ranging from 64％ ～80％ by spiking varying numbers of SKOV-3 into 2 ml blood samples of healthy volunteers.Regression analysis of number of recovered SKOV-3 cells yielded a regression equation of Y=0.782X-1.408 and a coefficient of determination of R2 =0.998.②Did not detect CK8/18-+ circulating tumor cells in 10 controls,and CK8/18+ circulating tumor cells in 18 cases of 32 Patients with ovarian cancer.The positive rate of CK 8/18 + circulating tumor cells was significantly differences between the two groups (x2 =7.681,P＜0.01).③The presence ofCTCs was significantly correlated with distant metastasis (x2 =5.776,P＜0.05).Conclusion The method of immunomagnetic bead based negative enrichment combined with immunofluorescence antibody technique for CTCs detection in peripheral blood of patients with ovarian cancer has a clinical value of application and extension.

Objective To explore the correlation between the epicaridal adipose tissue (EAT)volume and the SNYTAX score in patients with coronary artery diseases and to evaluate its clinical value.Methods Epicardial fat volume of 102 patients with coronary heart disease in our hospital were measured on dual-source CT angiography images,SNYTAX scores were calculated,and level of blood lipids,blood glucose (Glu),blood pressure,renal functional parameters and body mass index(BMI)were collected.Depending on SNYTAX scores,patients were divided into three groups (mild 0-22,moderate 23-32 and severe>33).The difference of EAT volume between groups and correlation with other indicators were analyzed.With indictors statistical significant in one-factor analysis,multi-ple regression equation was constructed to evaluate the risk factors of coronary artery diseases,particularly correlation between EAT volume and SNYTAX score.Results EAT,TC,TG,HDL,HbALc,GLu and BMI were significant different between three groups. Pearson regression showed that EAT,TC,GLu and BMI were independently risk factor in relation to the value of SNYTAX.Among them,standardized regressive coefficient of the EAT volume was the highest (β=0.52).Conclusion EAT volume is significantly positively correlated with the SNYTAX score in coronary heart disease,which can be as an effective predictor for its severity and prognosis.

Objective To study the incidence frequency of prothrombin G20210A (FⅡ G20210A)mutation in the patients with pulmonary thromboembolism(PTE)in northeast China,and to clarify the predictive value of FⅡG20210A mutation detection in PTE of the population in northeast China.Methods 60 PTE patients(PTE group) and 80 sex-matched healthy controls(control group)from the same geographic area were selected.All the patients were diagnosed by lung ventilation/perfusion scan and/or multi-slice CT pulmonary angiography(CTPA)as well as medical history.The genome DNA was extracted from the whole blood using alcohol.Polymerase chain reaction (PCR),restriction fragment length polymorphisms(RFLP)analysis with HindⅢ restriction enzyme and sepharose gel electrophoresis were used to identify the F Ⅱ G20210A mutation in PTE group and control group. Results After digested by HindⅢ restriction enzyme,only the fragments of 407 and 99 bp were found in PTE group.The frequency of FⅡ G20210A mutation was 0%,there was no statistical difference compared with contol group(P>0.05).There were no heterozygote and homozygote mutation of FⅡ G202210A gene in PTE group and control group.Conclusion The incidence of FⅡ G20210A mutation in the PTE patients in northeast China is very low,and the detection of FⅡ G20210A mutation may have no predictive value in PTE of the population in northeast China.

ObjectiveTo investigate the positive rates of serum antibodies to TORCH in women who want to have a baby or in the early period of pregnancy.MethodsSerum TORCH-IgM or TORCH-IgG in 500 women were measured with IgM capture ELISA.ResultsThe positive rates of serum TORCH-IgM were 0 in TOX samples,0.2% in RV samples,0.2% in CMV samples,1.4% in COXB samples and 0 in HSV samples;while the positive rates of serum TORCH-IgG were 0.2% in TOX samples,51.6% in RV samples.ConclusionSerum TORCH-IgM and TORCH-IgG screening in women who want to be a mother or in the early period of pregnancy should be strengthened.

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of bionics pulsed electromagnetic fields (BEMF) on the biomechanical property of ovariectomized Wistar rats.MethodsForty 6 month old female Wistar rats were randomly divided into four different groups: ovariectomy group (group A), sham operation group (group B), BEMF+ovariectomized group (group C) and estrogen+ovariectomized group (group D). All rats were subjected to bilateral ovariectomy except group B. 8 weeks after operation, rats of group D were given estrogen 0.5 mg/kg/2 w. Rats of group C were exposed to BEMF, 1 h /d. Rats of group A and B were given nothing as control groups. All treatments was being kept for 10 weeks. After treatments finished, measuring the biomechanical property of femur and lumbar spine.ResultsThere were significant differences in the biomechanical property between group D and group A, and group C and group A (P<0.05).ConclusionBEMF can improve the biomechanical property of ovariectomized Wistar rats significantly and increase the capability of resisting fracture significantly.

Objective To investigate publication of papers by nursing staff in a TCM hospital and to find out the problems as well as countermeasures.Method A retrospective analysis about authors,education,academictitle,length of service and age was done to investigate the classes of published papers from 2008 to 2012.Results The academic publication by the nurses from 2008 to 2012 was increased.Among these articles,the TCM nursing techniques took up the largest ratio,which accounted for 29.12%. There were significant differences in ages,length of service and educational background in authors(P<0.05).Conclusions Nurses’ awareness and capabilities of publishing academic papers needs enhancement as well as training.It may be significant to strengthen their incentives in scientific research by enforcing encouraging policies.

Objective: To study the examination of coronary sinus (CS) and blood flow by transthoracic echocardiography(TTE) and transesophageal echocardiography(TEE).Methods: Thirty patients with supraventricular tachycardia were studied by TTE and TEE. The CS was visualized using modified 4 chamber view. The position of the probe was optimized until the coronary sinus with its ostium into the right atrium could be visualized. CS flow recordings were performed by TEE with Doppler sample volume placed in the CS within a distance of no more than 10 mm from its ostium. Results: In all patients the angle between the doppler beam and the long axis of the CS was <30°. The CS was fully displayed in 18 patients by TTE and 28 patients by TEE. The length and width of the CS were (16.53±2.57) mm and (4.51±1.30) mm by TTE, (24.11±2.46) mm and (5.06±0.97) mm by TEE.The CS flow was characterized by biphasic flow.Its flow velocity was (39±7.8), (31±6.1) and (21±4.7) cm/s respectively. The CS flow velocity-imeintegral was(43±11.6),(43±13.0),(27±8.2) cm/s. Conclusion: Echocardiography is reliable for detecting CS and its flow. TTE is more feasible for detecting CS and its flow than TEE.

Objective To investigate the clinical value of human soluble endothelial protein C receptor (sEPCR) after heart valve replacement.Methods 78 cases of patients with heart valve replacement in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University from January 2005 to June 2016 were selected as the research objects,who were divided into embolic group and control group,38 cases in embolic group and 40 cases in control group,the index of two groups 1 d preoperative,while dynamic monitoring international standardization ratio (INR) and embolism,were detected,of which INR and sEPCR were examined.The INR and sEPCR oftwo groups was compared with t test.Results The INR and sEPCR of two groups 1 d preoperative had no significant difference (1.24±0.32 vs 1.23±0.19,34.91±9.14 μg/L vs 35.56±10.22 μg/L;t=0.17,P =0.868;t=0.30,P=0.768,respectively).The average value of dynamic monitoring INR in control group had no significant difference when compared with the results of embolism (1.86±0.95 vs 1.93±0.97,t=0.32,P=0.748).But the sEPCR had significant difference (101.33±27.15 μg/L vs 41.67±11.82 μg/L,t=12.69,P=0.000).Conclusion The important indexes of sEPCR could effectively guide the anticoagulant treatment,especially those who with the sEPCR value too high,the embolic threatening should be paid attention to.

AIM:To investigate the differences among Lenstar 900, A-scan ultrasound and keratometer in measurement of axial length ( AL ) , anterior chamber depth ( ACD ) and corneal curvature ( K1 , K2 , Km ) , and evaluate the consistency of the instruments, with the purpose providing references for the clinical application of Lenstar 900.
METHODS: In this study we picked up 36 patients ( 50 eyes ) underwent cataract surgery, and lens nucleus hardness were under level IV. Before the operation, AL, ACD and K1 , K2 , Km were measured by Lenstar 900, A-scan ultrasound and keratometer respectively. The differences between the results were compared by the paired t-test. The correlation of the results was analyzed by Pearson correlation analysis, and the consistency was measured by Bland-Ahamn method.
RESULTS: The mean AL and ACD values measured by Lenstar 900 and A-scan ultrasound had no significantly statistic differences (P>0. 05). The K1, K2, Km measured by Lenstar 900 and keratometer were not significantly statistical different (P>0. 05). The results measured by these three instruments had close linearity correlation ( r>0.9, P<0. 01). The consistency of the results was well in Bland-Ahamn analysis.
CONCLUSION:The preoperatively biometric result of Lenstar 900, A - scan ultrasound and keratometer in patients with cataract are all reliable, and they can be substituted by each other. However, Lenstar 900 can not only measure AL, ACD and corneal curvature at the same time, but also cornal thickness, lens thickness, white to white, pupil size, optical axis eccentricity, retinal thickness and so on. It has a number of advantages such as non-touching, convenient and efficient, and can be recommended to use widely.
