Purpose To study the anti-inflammatory,anti-allergy and immunosuppressive effect of polyglycosides of tripterygium wilfordii Hook (TⅡ). Methods Animal model of acute and subacute inflammation, adjuvant arthritis, type Ⅳ and Ⅲ allergic reaction were used.Serum haemolysin level, lymphocyte proliferation and T-cell subsets in spleen were tested. Results TⅡ 60,120 mg/kg and pre(prednisone)10 mg/kg had marked inhibitory effect on carrageenine induced swelling, tampon induced granulation and on the prevention of adjuvant arthritis. The delayed type hypersensitivity reaction(type Ⅳ) and arthus reaction (type Ⅲ) was distinctly suppressed. It had a suppressive action on serum haemolysin and lymphocyte proliferation with and without concanavatin A which was dose dependent. In the T-cell subsets:TⅡ 60 mg/kg decreased TS and TⅡ 120 mg/kg inhibited both TS and TH,preacted mainly on TH and rendered the decreased ratio of TH/TS. Conclusions TⅡ has suppressive effect on inflammation, allergic reaction and immune function.

Clinical Medicine of China 2009;25(11):1149-1151
Objective To observe the clinical effect of combination of clopidogrel and simvastatin on coro-nary heart disease and transient ischemic attack(TIA). Methods 76 patients with coronary heart disease and TIA were randomly divided into test group (n=40) and control group (n=36). The control group was treated with en-teric-coated aspirin 50 mg×2 every night after supper, and the test group was treated with clopidogrel 25 mg×2 and simvastatin 10 mg×2 every night before sleep. Liver and kidney function, blood coagulation function and blood lipids were measured before treatment and after. 1 year followed-up. Results The effective rate was 95.0% (38/40) in test group and 55.5% (20/36) in control group(χ2=6.45,P<0.01). LDL-C was (3.18±1.24) mmol/L and (2.60±1.03)mmol/L(t=2.67,P<0.01),TC was(5.18±1.24) mmol/L and (4.02±2.18) mmol/L(t= 4.91, P<0.01),TG was (1.50±1.02) mmol/L and (1.30±1.03) mmol/L(t=1.02, P>0.05), respectively in test group before and after treatment. However, there was no statistical difference in LDL-C, TC and TG (t=0.17, 0.00,0.52,0.57,P>0.05 for each) in control group. The two groups showed no difference after treatment (t= 1.51,2.55,0.57, P>0.05 for each). Conclusions Glopidogrel combined with simvastatin capsules is safe in pre-vention of TIA attack.
7.A meta-analysis on smoking and pulmonary tuberculosis incidence in Chinese people
Chongqing Medicine 2017;46(16):2224-2227,2232
Objective To study the relationship between smoking and the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis(TB) in Chinese people. Methods The Pubmed database and three Chinese databases such as Wanfang Data,Veipu data(VIP) and China national knowledge infrastructure database (CNKI) were retrieved. The literatures on the relationship between smoking and pulmonary TB incidence in Chinese people published before April 2016 were analyzed. Results Fifteen studies were included, after excluding 1 low quality study, the rest had no statistical heterogeneity. The merged odd ratio (OR) was 1.71,95 % confidence interval (CI) 1.51-1.90.Two studies observed the relationship between the amount of cigarettes and TB pathogenesis, but there was heterogeneity and could not be further merged the OR value for conducting analysis. No subgroup analysis of gender was performed in all studies. Conclusion The risk suffering from pulmonary TB in Chinese smokers is 1.71 fold of non-smokers,and smoking increases the risk of pulmonary TB onset.

AIM:To perform a new method for orbital implant and contracted socket through one time and its results. ·METHODS:Totally 114 patients 114 eyes, from January 2008 to June 2014, with contracted socket participated in this study. We incised the bulbar conjunctiva horizontally and excised scar tissue, then implanted the hydroxyapatite in the four extraocular muscles and tightly sutured the Tenon ' capsule. After that, we put the superior and inferior conjunctival petals backwards and sutured them to the Tenon ' s capsule. All the patients were divided into four groups according to the vertical diameter length of the conjunctival defect area:GroupⅠ:≤5mm; Group Ⅱ: 6-10mm; Group Ⅲ: 11-15mm; and Group Ⅳ: ≥16mm. These patients were followed up for 6mo to 3y to observe the conjunctival sac shaping and growth of conjunctiva. ·RESULTS:There were 64 cases in GroupⅠ, 31 cases in Group Ⅱ, 16 cases in Group Ⅲ and 3 cases in Group Ⅳ. All patients ' conjunctival defect was covered by new conjunctiva and scar tissue 4 to 6wk after surgeries. Ten cases had contracted socket; 2 cases had orbital implant exposure, requiring reoperation. Of the 114 cases, 8 had contracted socket and could use a smaller conformer, 106 could use a normal size conformer. ·CONCLUSION: When the conjunctival defect was ≤15mm, this new method can address the orbital implant and contracted socket at the same time. While it was ≥16mm, flap transplantation is necessary.
