Objective To evaluate the strictness and self-consistency of the charge nurses in the nurses examination using venipunctnre trocar operation as research object. Methods FACETS,the polyhedral Rasch software was used in the examination. Results The strictness and self-consistency of charge nurses were evidently different. Conclusions The variable strictness and self-consistency of the charge nurses in the examination leads to unreliability of the results.Developing a scientific and reliable evaluation system is essential to improve the ability of the teaching nurses and the student nurses as well as the hospital nursing quality.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Nutrition 2017;25(2):72-77
Objective To explore the influence of various concentrations of amino acid on the stability of neonatal parenteral nutrition solutions .Methods Five formulations were designed with 5 different amino acid concentrations containing the same components .The final amino acid concentrations of admixtures were 0%, 1%, 2%, 3%, and 3.5%, respectively .The appearance , pH, and osmolality were observed or meas-ured after preparation (0 hour) and at 12, 24, 48 and 72 hours after preparation. The average size and the size distribution of the lipid globules were also evaluated by laser nanometer particle size analyzer .Results There was no observable alteration in color , phase separation , precipitate , and flocculation in any admixture at any of the observation time points. The mean pH values for all groups were between (5.49 ±0.01) to (6.19 ±0.01) within 72 hours. The mean osmolalities for all groups were between (774 ±3) to (1106 ±13) mOsm/kg.The mean diameters of lipid globules for all groups were between (280.6 ±0.7 ) mm to (332.2 ±2.0 ) nm.The mean polydispersity for all groups were between (0.200 ±0.011) to (0.245 ±0.012).The enrichment of ami-no acid concentration was linked to lower pH ( P=0.000 ) , higher osmolality ( P=0.000 ) and larger average lipid globules size ( P=0.000 ) .However , there was no distinct linear dependence between amino acid concen -tration and polydispersity value ( P=0.628 ) .Conclusion After 72 hours of storage at room temperature , the appearance, pH, osmolality, and the average lipid globules diameter of the parenteral nutrition solutions are within the safe range when the amino acid is not contained or the concentrations are no more than 3.5%.

Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of discharge planning in patients after total laryngectomy. Methods One hundred and four patients were randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group, there were 52 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were received routine nursing, while the patients in the intervention group were received discharge planning based on routine nursing. The patients'days of hospitalization, scores of the Exercise of Self-care Agency Scale (ESCA) at discharge and 4 weeks after discharge, scores of University of Washington Quality of Life Questionnaire (UW-QOL) at 4 weeks after discharge and re-admission rate were compared between the two groups. Results The ESCA scores in the intervention group at discharge (108.62 ± 11.23) and 4 weeks after discharge (116.35 ± 12.08) were significantly higher than those of the control group at discharge (96.16±10.34) and 4 weeks after discharge (105.20±10.76) respectively (t=5.886, 4.970, P<0.05), and the UW-QOL score in the intervention group (810.56±98.25) was significantly higher than that of the control group (687.32±96.74) at 4 weeks after discharge (t=6.445, P<0.05). No significant difference in the days of hospitalization was found between the intervention group (15.27 ± 3.33) and the control group (16.60 ± 3.97) (P>0.05). The re-admission rate in the intervention group (2/52,3.85%) was significantly lower than that of the control group (8/52,15.38%) (χ2=3.983, P<0.05). Conclusions Discharge planning can improve the ability of self-care and quality of life in patients after total laryngectomy, and reduce the re-admission to hospital.

The purpose of this study is to obtain effective and stable bacteriocin-like substance from lactic acid bacteria. Lactobacillus buchneri KLDS1.0364,which was isolated from fermented cream,a traditional dairy product in Inner Mongolia, could produce bacteriocin-like substance. The bacteriocin-like substance produced by KLDS1.0364 was partially purified and the characteristics were studied. The bacteriocin-like substance was purified by SP-Sepharose fast flow cation exchange chromatography. The molecular weight of the bacteriocin-like substance was 21.6kD,as determined by tricine-SDS-PAGE. The bacteriocin-like substance remained stable after 30 min at 121℃ and after 2 h of incubation during pH 2~10. Complete inactivation of antimicrobial activity was observed after treatment of the bacteriocin-like substance with several proteinases. Treatment with catalase and ?-amylase did not result in any changes of antimicrobial activity. The mode of action of the bacteriocin-like substance is bactericidal. It exhibited a broad spectrum of antagonistic activity against various species of Gram-positive bacteria,Gram-negative bacteria and fungi.

Salinity is the main limitation factor for plant growth and crop production. Many approaches to enhance plant resistance to salinity by genetic engineering have been developed.Over-expressions of salt-tolerance related genes encoding proteins involved in signal transduction pathways, ion channels and compatible solutes synthesis for the stabilization of biological structures under salinity stress are the most often used strategies. The recent progresses in genetic engineering to improve salt tolerance in plants and the possible problems in researches was reviewed.

AIM: To observe the effect and mechanism of Chinese traditional medicine JianNao mixture on function of learning and memory in memory disorder mice. METHODS: Step down test, step through test and "Y" maze test were used to examine the function of learning and memory in memory disorder mice induced by scopolamine, sodium nitrite and alcohol, and in dementia model mice induced by D galactose and aluminum chloride. Cholinesterase activity in brain, LPO and SOD in blood were measured. RESULTS: JianNao mixture could promote both the learning and memory function in impaired acquisition, consolidation and retrieval of memory in memory disorder mice induced by scopolamine, sodium nitrite and alcohol, respectively. It also could reduce wrong times and prolong latency in mice's step through test, depress cholinesterase activity of brain in aluminum chloride model mice, reduce wrong times in mice's "Y" maze test, enhance SOD activity of whole blood and decrease LPO content of brain in D galactose model mice. CONCLUSION: JianNao mixture can improve the function of learning and memory in memory disorder mice. The mechanism may be due to improve the cholinergic function and the balance of free radical in vivo.

Objective To study the expression and pathologic significance of CD147,cyclophilin A (CyPA)and cyclophilin B(CyPB)in psoriatic lesions. Methods Immunohistochemical method was ap- plied to detect the expression of CD147,CyPA and CyPB in skin specimens of 15 patients with psoriasis pustulosa(PP),20 patients with progressive psoriasis vulgaris(PPV),and 20 patients with inactive psori- asis vulgaris(IPV).Immunoreactivity intensity distribution index(IRIDI)was calculated to assess the expres- sion intensity of CD147,CyPA and CyPB.Results CD147,CyPA and CyPB were detected in all speci- mens. The IRIDI scores of CD147 and CyPA were significantly higher in keratinocytes of psoriatic lesions than in those of the control specimens(all P0.05).The IRIDI score of CyPB in T lymphocytes of PP lesions was significantly elevated than that in PPV lesions, which was in turn higher than that in IPV lesions(all P0.05).Conclusion CD147,CyPA and CyPB may play a role in the occurrence and development of psoriasis.
