International Eye Science 2014;(8):1440-1443
AIM:To investigate the differences among Lenstar 900, A-scan ultrasound and keratometer in measurement of axial length ( AL ) , anterior chamber depth ( ACD ) and corneal curvature ( K1 , K2 , Km ) , and evaluate the consistency of the instruments, with the purpose providing references for the clinical application of Lenstar 900.
METHODS: In this study we picked up 36 patients ( 50 eyes ) underwent cataract surgery, and lens nucleus hardness were under level IV. Before the operation, AL, ACD and K1 , K2 , Km were measured by Lenstar 900, A-scan ultrasound and keratometer respectively. The differences between the results were compared by the paired t-test. The correlation of the results was analyzed by Pearson correlation analysis, and the consistency was measured by Bland-Ahamn method.
RESULTS: The mean AL and ACD values measured by Lenstar 900 and A-scan ultrasound had no significantly statistic differences (P>0. 05). The K1, K2, Km measured by Lenstar 900 and keratometer were not significantly statistical different (P>0. 05). The results measured by these three instruments had close linearity correlation ( r>0.9, P<0. 01). The consistency of the results was well in Bland-Ahamn analysis.
CONCLUSION:The preoperatively biometric result of Lenstar 900, A - scan ultrasound and keratometer in patients with cataract are all reliable, and they can be substituted by each other. However, Lenstar 900 can not only measure AL, ACD and corneal curvature at the same time, but also cornal thickness, lens thickness, white to white, pupil size, optical axis eccentricity, retinal thickness and so on. It has a number of advantages such as non-touching, convenient and efficient, and can be recommended to use widely.

Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2016;31(10):769-772
Objective To explore relationship between imaging classification and pathological type, and the electron microscopic ultrastructure by observing the ultrastructural features of congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation (CCAM).Methods Children with CCAM in the Guangdong Women and Children Hospital from May 2014 to November 2014,were analyzed, imaging classification was performed according to enhanced Computed Tomography (CT) scanning, and the surgical specimens were stained by HE and scanning electron microscope was used to observe the tissue structures of various of CCAM.Results Eight cases were enrolled in this research (5 boys and 3 girls),and the mean age of surgery was (5.4 ± 1.1) month old.According to the features of enhanced CT scanning, there were 2 cases of the type-Ⅰ,and the other 3 cases of type-Ⅱ,and 3 cases of type-Ⅲ;According to the characteristics of the pathological types, there was 1 case of type-Ⅰ,4 cases of type-Ⅱ,and the other 3 cases of type-Ⅲ.There was 1 case which classified as type-Ⅰ by CT,however classified as type-Ⅱ by pathological typing. The findings of CT features were in complete correspondence with the pathological types in the rest cases.Electron microscopic findings showed the alveolar spaces were enlarged, the alveolar cells were reduced, the lamellar bodies were decreased and immature and microvilli were also decreased. There was no significant difference between Ⅰ and Ⅱ type under the viewpoint of electron microscope. The common features between type Ⅰ,and type Ⅱ included that the alveolar space was enlarged, the alveolar space had been pressed between enlarged alveolar space, the alveolar cell were decreased and immature, and fibrous hypertrophy was also found. Conclusions There are differences between ultrastructural analysis and clinical pathological typing which suggests the clinical importance of the electron microscopy ultrastructural analysis combined with pathology for typing. There need further clinical and laboratory studies, especially the combination of microscopy-electrical control microscope for typing with related predictive models for follow-up of CCAM.

Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma 2004;0(12):-
Objective To report the therapeutic results of Hybrid external fixator in treatment of open metaphyseal fractures of the tibia. Methods From March 2000 to July 2004,19 cases of proximal tibial meta- physeal fractures and six cases of Pilon fractures were treated with Hybrid external fixators.By Gustilo classification, eight cases were of typeⅡ,10 typeⅢA,five typeⅢB and two typeⅢC.The wounds were closed directly after thorough debridement in 21 cases, and closed by pedicled flap transposition or free flap transplantation in four. Fasciotomy was performed in three.Closed indirect reduction of the fractures was done in 11 cases, while open reduction was carried out through an extended wound or a limited incision in 14.Anatomical reduction was done for the articular fractures,if any,and Hybrid external fixators were employed to stabilize fractures in all the cases in this series. Results All the patients had a mean follow-up of 15.7 months (ranging from 9 to 26 months) which re- vealed bone union of the fracture in all cases with a mean healing time of 8.8 months. Two patients had their external fixators replaced with plates and iliac bone graft to get fracture union. The fixators were removed 2.9 to 21 months (mean,9.4 months) after operation.Except for two cases of secondary healing, all the wounds healed primarily without serious complication, such as infection. The final follow-up revealed a knee motion range of more than 90?in 15 cases, less than 70?in four, whose knee motion range was improved to more than 90?after knee release performed one year later. In all the six cases of Pilon fractures, the ankle joint recovered normal range of motion.Traumatic arthritis occurred in two cases of Piion fracture 11 months after operation.Evaluation by Rasmussen's functional and radiological scoring system demonstrated excellent knee function in 13 cases, good in three, fair in two and poor in one, with a good to excellent rate of 84.2%.The ankle function was excellent in three cases, good in two and poor in one, with a good to excellent rate of 83.3%.Conclusions In treatment of open tibial metaphyseal fractures, the Hybrid external fixator can well maintain the stability of the fragments with a low incidence of soft tissue com- plications and insignificant interference with the knee motion. However the bone healing time can be prolonged with a definite rate of nonunion.

China Pharmacy 2016;27(18):2470-2472
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of different doses of oxaliplatin on the efficacy and safety and related index-es of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)after transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE). METHODS:100 HCC patients were randomly divided into control group (50 cases) and observation group (50 cases). After TACE,control group re-ceived arterial infusion chemotherapy of 40 mg/m2 oxaliplatin, once a day+20 mg Epirubicin hydrochloride for injection, once a day, with little lipiodol. Observation group received arterial infusion chemotherapy of 80 mg/m2 oxaliplatin (the same usage with control group)+Epirubicin hydrochloride for injection(the same dosage with control group),with little lipiodol. Alanine aminotrans-ferase (ALT),aspartate aminotransferase (AST),total bilirubin (TBIL),white blood cell count (WBC) and alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) in 2 groups after 3 d treatment were observed, and the total overall survival (OS) and the incidence of adverse reactions were followed-up. RESULTS:Abdominal pain, incidences of nausea and vomiting,ALT,AST and TBIL in observation group were significantly higher than control group,WBC was significantly lower than control group, the differences were statistically sig-nificant (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in fever, hair loss, incidence of peripheral neurotoxicity,OS in 1 year and 3 years, and AFP in 2 groups(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Compared with 40 mg/m2 oxaliplatin,80 mg/m2 can reduce the in-cidence of abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, but other effects are poor than 40 mg/m2,and it can not prolong the survival time of patients.
