Objective To investigate the efficiency of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring in cervical spinal tumor surgery.Methods Retrospective case-control study comparing 23 cervical spinal tumor patients received surgery under neurophysiological monitoring (case) and 23 cases without neurophysiological monitoring (control).Results All of 46 cases,there were no significant differences of age,gender and preoperative neurological function.Duration of operation and estimated blood loss in the IONM cohort was less than the control group with significant difference.The preoperative JOA score of IONM group and control group were 12.0±2.4 and 12.7±2.1,with no significant difference.The postoperative JOA score of each group were 15.0±1.5 and 15.2±1.7,with no significant difference.The rate of cervical cord neurological improvement of IONM group was higher than control group,but there was no significant difference.In the IONM cohort,abnormal signal appeared in 8 cases,with 1 case developed new postoperative deficit,and the sensitivity and specificity of SEP were 100％ and 77.3％,the sensitivity and specificity of MEP were 100％ and 86.4％.Compared with preoperative SEP,4 cases showed major improvement (baseline increase ＞ 40％),2 cases showed moderate improvement (baseline increase:15％-40％).The coincidence rate of the SEP improvement and the AISA grade was 66.7％.Conclusion IONM could reduce the duration of operation and intraoperative blood loss.Changes of IONM were correlated with postoperative neurological function improvement.

Objective To study the biological exposure limit in bone metabolism damage caused by coexposure to fluorine and arsenic from coal burning in exposed population.Methods One hundred and ninety-eight cases of fluoride and arsenic co-exposed people from Liuchang village,Qinzhen city,Guizhou province were enrolled in the study.Urinary fluorine (UF),urinary arsenic (UAs),urinary hydroxyproline (UHYP),ross-linked Ntelopeptides of type Ⅰ collagen(UNTX) and bone strength index(STI) were detected.BMDS Version 2.1 software was used to calculate UF,UAs benchmark dose (BMD) and its lower confidence limit (BMDL) on the damage of bone metabolism caused by co-exposure to fluorine and arsenic from coal burning.Results The BMD and BMDL range of UF caused by co-exposure to fluorine and arsenic from coal burning were 0.68-1.35 mg/g Cr,0.57-1.11 mg/g Cr.The BMD and BMDL range of UAs caused by co-exposure to fluorine and arsenic from coal burning were 8.36-18.77 μg/g Cr,7.12-15.40 μg/g Cr.Conclusion The biological exposure limits of UF and UAs for bone metabolism toxicity are proposed as 0.57 mg/g Cr and 7.12 μg/g Cr in co-exposure to fluoride and arsenic from coal burning,respectively.

Methods Based on the software and hardware platforms of No.1 Military Medical Project, it was developed under Powerbuilder 9.0 without more tables and database expenses. Result Paperless prescription was realized. Conclusion The clinician's workload is reduced. Inaccurate patient expenses and drugs data are stopped.

Tripterygium glycosides preparation which extracted from the traditional Chinese herb Tripterygium wilfordii (TWHY), was widely used to treat the autoimmune diseases. Previous works demonstrated that TWHF had potent anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive properties. But the different quality and high incident rate of side effects of different manufactures inhibited its clinical application. Since TWHF had been generally known to play a therapeutical effect by synergism of multiple constituents, it was necessary to build the relationship between the HPLC fingerprint and bioactivity so as to ensure the quality safety and efficacy. The HPLC fingerprint showed that description and content of peaks from different manufactures were diverse. Only 11 common peaks were found. In this study, mice spleen cells stimulated by Con A were used to test the proliferation inhibition bioactivity of TWHF preparations, which were incubated with 30, 15, 7.5, 3.75, 1.88 and 0.94 mg x L(-1) TWHF preparations for 48 h. The results showed that mice spleen cells proliferation was inhibited by all TWHF preparations significantly compared with the control group, which suggested the TWHF preparations showed immune suppress activity. The TWHF preparations from 7 manufacture showed different IC50 value, which might belong to different contents which showed in the HPLC fingerprint. Moreover, a relationship between the HPLC fingerprint and the bioactivity were established to identify important constituents by grey relational analysis (GRA). The result showed that all the contents were relative with the IC50, especially No. 5 and 10 peaks, but No. 1 peak, which was proved to be triptolide, had few contribute to the inhibition of mice spleen cells proliferation. The study of relationship between the HPLC fingerprint and the IC50 by GRA could help to investigate mechanism of bioactive and provide an evidence for the quantification of multi-constituents.

The market and literature were studied to understand the existing situation of Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex goods, and the collected samples were analyzed, combined with the actual production, a new standard of Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex commercial specification and grade was drafted. Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex goods was divided into two categories according to the source in the old standard. Then each category was divided into four kinds of specifications according to the site. Each kind of specification was divided into several grades according to the length and weight. To judge the quality of Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex goods was mainly based on the appearance quality. In the new standard, the classification of commercial specification and grade is based on the thickness, magnolol and honokiol content. The goods of Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex can be divided into three specifications: Tongpu, Genpu and Doupu. Tongpu is divided into three grades, the remaining two are not graded.
