Mild cognitive impairment(MCI)refers to cognitive regression which goes beyond one'S age and education level,but does not influence the activities of daily living.More than half patients with MCI will develop dementia within five years.Therefore,MCI is considered as a risk status of dementia.Early diagnosis of MCI prevents against patients developing dementia. Voxel-based morphometry(VBM)technique quantitatively calculates the size of global and local gray matter voxel and signal intensity.It is a full automatic analysis technique of objective brain morphology.This article reviews the application of VBM technique in patient with MCI.

Objective To investigate the clinical diagnosis and treatment of incomplete Beh et′s disease. Methods The clinical data of 52 patients (83 eyes ) with incomplete Beh et′s disease were retrospectively analysed. Visual acuity and results of examination of slit-lamp microscope, ocular fundus, and fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA) were observed and analysed. All of patients were treated by local cycloplegic, systemic treatment with glucocorticoid and cytoxan. The followed-up period was 1 year or more. Results Recurrent hypopyon or empyema of anterior chamber angle, and hyperaemia of optic papilla was found in 54 and 41 eyes, respectively. The results of FFA showed that abnormal changes were found in all of the eyes. There was vascular leakage and staining of optic papilla at the early and late stage in 83 eyes (100%), diffuse leakage of retinal capillary vessel in 83 eyes (100%), and leakage of affected branch of retinal vessel and staining of the vascular wall at the late stage in 71 eyes (85.54%).After the treatment, the disease recovered completely in 20 patients (26 eyes), recovered partly in 20 (33 eyes), and alleviated in 12 (24 eyes). No patients suffered from hypopyon or empyema of anterior chamber angle and hyperemia of optic papilla. None of the patients had oral ulcer, genital ulcer or arthritis until the last day of the follow-up. Conclusions Recurrent hypopyon, papillitis, and retinal vasculitis were the main clinical manifestations of incomplete Beh et′s disease. FFA redounds to the diagnosis of the disease and timely application of cycloplegic and systemic application of glucocorticoid and cytoxan may inhibit the aggravation of the disease effectively.

Objective To investigate the etiology and clinical features of transient global amnesia.Methods Seven patients diagnosed as transient global amnesia were analyzed by EEG,TCD,MRI or CT examination,five pa- tients analyzed by single photon emission computed tomography(SPECT).EEG and TCD examination were done within 24 hours during the attack.And SPECT,MRI or CT examination were done within 1 week during the at- tack.Results Six patients showed normal EEG,one patient showed a few slow waves;seven patients showed verte- brobasilar ischemia in TCD;six patients showed normal but one patient showed lacunar infarction in brain CT or MRI;five patients showed significant hypoperfusion in different encephalic region in brain SPECT.They were all fol- lowed up for three to tewty-four months respectively,six patients had no recurrence,but one patient recurred one time and the SPECT demonstrated a decreased cerebral blood flow in the left temporal lobe.Conclusion Transient global amnesia patients showed cerebral ischemia.Transient global amnesia may be related to the decrease of rCBF in the temporal lobe or the temporal hippocampus.

Objective To investigate the extracellular regulated protein kinases (ERKs) pathway of hepatitis B virus(HBV) X protein(HBx) on glomerular mesangial cell(GMC) proliferation of rat and tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-? expression.Methods The HBV X gene was amplified by polymerase chain reaction(PCR),inserted into the eukaryotic expression vector PCI-neo and confirmed by restrict endonuclease digestion and sequence analysis.PCI-neo contained HBV X gene (PCI-neo-X) was transfected into cultured GMC via liposome.GMC proliferation,TNF-? and its mRNA expression were investigated in the condition of with or without U0126 in the culture media.HBx,ERK1/2 and phosphorynated-ERK1/2 (p-ERK1/2) expression in GMC were assessed by Western blot.TNF-? mRNA expression was assessed by semi-quantitative reverse transcriptase-PCR (RT-PCR).TNF-? level in supernatants was measured by enzymelinked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).GMC proliferation was assessed by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium(MTT).Results HBx expression was found in transfected GMC,and became prominent at 36 and 48 hours after transfection whether with or without U0126 in culture media.TNF-? mRNA expression was significantly decreased in U0126 group compared with U0126-free group.TNF-? levels in supernatants in PCI-neo-X transfection without U0126 group were (189.0?18.1) ng/L at 36 hours and (172.3?24.3) ng/L at 48 hours after transfection,respectively.In contrast,TNF-? levels in supernatants with U0126 were (65.6?11.6) ng/L and (84.0?24.6) ng/L,respectively.The TNF-? le-vels in the latter groups were significantly lower than the formers (Pa

Objective To explore the moves that creating magnetic work environment in hospital, in order to improve the nurses job satisfaction and reduce the turnover rate then stable the nursing team. Methods Through a series of measures such as the establishment of scientific rational allocation of human resources, implementing fair performance evaluation and allocation mechanism, carrying out the nurse grading management system to create magnetic nursing work environment, the nurse job satisfaction and turnover rate were compared before and after the measures. Results In January 2014 a total of 520 questionnaireswere issued, 519 valid questionnaires, and the effective recovery rate was 99.81%(519/520);And 559 were valid of 577 issued questionnaires, which was 96.88% (559/577). The overall score of nurses′job satisfaction increased from (3.20±0.46) points in 2013 to (3.41±0.52) points in 2014 (t=9.40, P= 0.000); The nurse turnover rate fell to 1.97%(13/661) from 5.13% (30/585) (χ2= 10.27, P= 0.003). Acupuncture has remarkable effects of pain relieving and functional restoration on injuries of soft tissue and joint due to military training. As more and more attention has been attached to the impact of psychological states and biorhythm disorder on the fighting ability of military staff, acupuncture has found its place in treating chronic fatigue, combat stress reaction, traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder as well as regulating circadian rhythms. The therapeutic effect of acupuncture in military training-related physical damage and psychological trauma has already been proved by numerous clinical practices and researches. It is held that using acupuncture as an alternative could not only save medical resources, but also enhance the fighting ability of the army. However, the current clinical studies is facing the problem of limited sample size. Therefore, randomized controlled trials in large scale and multiple centers should be further carried out toward military staff, so as to provide more speaking evidences to the prevention and treatment of physical and psychological diseases.

Objective To investigate the protective effect of chloroquine on endotoxemia mice and its inhibition on the release of cytokines induced by LPS. Methods A total of 40 mice of Kunming species were randomly divided into four groups: LPS group received LPS at 10 mg/kg, chloroquine group received chloroquine at 20 mg/kg, LPS plus chloroquine group received chloroquine at 20 mg/kg first, then LPS at 10 mg/kg and control group received only 0.9%sodium chloride at 200 ?l/20 g. The mortality was observed within seven days after injection via caudal vein. ANA 1 cell lines were cultivated in vitro . After chloroquine was first added into the cells for 3 hours, the releases of TNF ? and IL 6 in the supernatants induced by different concentrations of LPS were measured. Objective To investigate the roles of CpG motifs in the release of cytokines induced by bacterial DNA. Methods Mice were sensitized with injection of D GalN (600 mg/kg) into the abdominal cavity 1 h before experiment. Mortality was observed after purified Escherichia coli DNA(EC DNA), calf thymus DNA(CT DNA), phosphorothioate backbone CpG oligodeoxy nucleotides (CpG ODN) and CG sequence inverted oligodeoxy nucleotides (non CpG ODN) were injected venously into mice. The injection dosage of DNA given was 30 mg/kg but ODN was 10 nmol/mouse. THP 1 cell lines were cultured in vitro . After the above reagents were added into the culture, TNF ?, IL 6, IL 1? levels were detected to observe the different abilities of these reagents to induce the release of cytokines. Results EC DNA and CpG ODN could induce the death of mice and the large amount of release of cytokines, but CT DNA and Non CpG ODN could not. Conclusion CpG ODN has the ability to induce macrophage to release cytokines largely. CpG motifs, which may play an important role in the release of cytokines induced by bacterial DNA, may probably be the structural basis of bacterial DNA.
