Objective To summarize our experience in managing cerebrospinal fluid(CSF) rhinorrhea. Methods 82 cases of cerebrospinal fluid rhinorrhea treated in our department from 1995 to 1999 were reviewed retrospectively. 61 were male and 21 were female. They ranged from 2 to 82 years old.CSF leak was caused by trauma in 43 cases, iatrogenic injury in 18 cases and spontaneous leak occurred in 21 cases. Results 36 cases underwent surgical repair. The closure rate was 86 11%.Otorhinolaryngologists underwent 25 cases, and 23 cases succeeded (92%).The department of neurology underwent 11 cases, and 8 cases succeeded (72 7%). Conclusions The repair of CSF leak through transnasal extracranial approach can obtain better therapeutic results, especially through intranasal endoscopy.

Objective To investigate whether the neutrophil serine proteinase 3 (PR 3),a specific autoantigen of C ANCA,could induce human fetal glomerular endothelial cell apoptosis in vitro .Methods PR 3 was isolated from polymorphonuclear leukocytes obtained from C ANCA positive children with SLE.The cultured glomerular endothelial cells from human fetal kidneys were treated with PR 3 and apoptosis was assessed by different methods including the propidium iodide staining,DNA fragmentation analysis, and morphology observation. Results Percentage of apoptotic cells significantly increased ( P
5.Changes of Na~+,K~+-ATPase activity in proximal tubules of type 2 diabetic rats
Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(20):-
Objective To investigate the changes of Na~+,K~+-ATPase activity in the proximal tubules (PT) of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) and the correlation of PT Na~+,K~+-ATPase activity and endogenous digitalis-like substance (EDLS). Methods Female Wistar rats were developed a rat model of T2DM and then divided into 3 groups after injected stretozotocin, that is, 5 weeks group, 7 weeks group and 9 weeks group. The PT were microdissection by freehand. Na~+,K~+ -ATPase activity of PT were determined by liquid scintillation counter. Serum EDLS and insulin were determined using radioimmunoassay. Results Compared with control group, T2DM rats were associated with hyperglycemia, hypertriglyceridemia, dyslipidemia, and insulin resistance; Na~+,K~+-ATPase activity of PT in T2DM rats was significantly increased, and there was no significant difference among 3 sub-groups. Serum EDLS level was significantly enhanced in T2DM, however, EDLS levels were no significant difference among 3 sub-groups. Na~+,K~+-ATPase activity of PT had negative relation with EDLS level in serum. Conclusion Na~+,K~+-ATPase activity of PT in T2DM rats is increased and EDLS level in serum decrease may play a important role.

Chongqing Medicine 2014;(24):3143-3145,3148
Objective To detect the expression of FOXM 1 transcription factor in cervical cancer tissues and to evaluate its clini-cal significance .Methods Immunohistochemical staining was employed to detect the expression of both FOXM 1 and Ki-67 in a va-riety of cervical tissues respectively from 38 patients with cervical cancer ,22 with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (ranging from CINⅠ to CIN Ⅲ) and 17 with normal cervical epithelium .Results Abnormal expression rate of FOXM 1 was respectively 5 .88% , 63 .6% and 92 .1% in normal cervix ,CIN and cervical cancer ;Deregulated FOXM1 expression in cervical cancer tissues was signifi-cantly correlated with patients’ pathological differentiation ,clinical stage ,post-operational recurrence and Ki-67 expression level . Conclusion FOXM1 expression may be correlated with the deregulated proliferation ,malignant progression ,staging and prognosis in cervical cancer .

Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(06):-
Objective Through the training, induction and observation,of biofilm Staphylococcus aureus(BF)in vitro to study fosfomycin(FOS)on the role of BF.Methods Select the clinical and quality control strains of Staphylococcus ATCC25922,ATCC25923 using trypsin broth medium(TSB-teflon)systems and saline(NS-teflon)system for the training, induction and confocal microscope observation of BF.The minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC)was determined by twice the agar dilution Drugs. Results After 1,3,7 d of incubation, clinical isolates of the biofilm accumulation over time of the extension increased After joining fosfomycin biofilm, the growth was inhibited. There was significant difference in MIC with or without biofilm(P

Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1982;0(01):-
Objective To investigate the effect of Prunellu vulgaris L.extracts on isolated rabbit artery. Methods The effect of Prunellu vulgaris L.extracts on the contraction curve caused by norepinephrine (NE) was recorded on isolated rabbit artery. Results The contraction curve moved to the right and the maximum contraction range was decreased by chloroform extract, butanol extract and ethyl acetate extract; the contraction curve had no move by aquatic extract. Conclusion Prunellu vulgaris L. has the effect of dilating artery and reducing blood pressure.
