2.Explore the correlation between childhood obesity and asthma

Objective To investigate the relationship between childhood obesity,asthma and lung function.Method Based on body weight and whether with asthma the 45 children were divided into normal control group,asthma group,obesity and asthma group,15 cases each.Each child was measured leptin levels and pulmonary function was measured with a spirometer.Each asthmatic children was surveyed by Asthma Control Test (C-ACT) questions.Results Asthmatic children have varying degrees harm of lung function.Obesity and asthma group compared with asthma group of children is more decreased in lung function.Children with asthma compared with normal control group of children is more higher in serum leptin concentration.Obesity and asthma children is highest in serum leptin concentrations.Asthmatic children C-ACT average score than obesity and asthma score,the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.01).Conclusion Lung function and leptin abnormalities are exist in children with asthma.Also in the case of asthma,the abnormal levels of lung function and leptin in obese children compared with normal-weight children are more apparent,C-ACT score are more lower,and asthma is more severe.Weight control in obese children with asthma is favorable measures to control asthma attacks.
3.Influence of different concentrations of sevoflurane during anesthesia induction on left ventricular function in elderly patients

Objective To evaluate effects of different concentration of sevoflurane anesthesia on left ventricular function in elderly patients by cardiac ultrasound.Methods One hundred and twenty patients (59 males,61 females,aged 65-69 years,ASA gradeⅠor Ⅱ)undergoing elective surgery having general anesthesia were divided into 4 groups according to minimum alveolar concentration (MAC)using random number table method,30 in each.To maintain the MAC at 1.0,1.5,2.0,2.5,fentanyl and suc-cinylcholine were used for rapid induction,followed by endotracheal intubation.Mechanical ventilation was maintained at the preset value for 10 minutes,then the concentration of sevoflurane was adjusted.Left ven-tricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD),left ventricular end-systolic diameter (LVESD),left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF),left interior diameter shortening rate (LVFS),cardiac output by cardiac ultra-sound,noninvasive arterial systolic pressure,diastolic pressure,heart rate were recorded prior to the induc-tion (T0 )and after 3 min (T1 ),5 min (T2 ),8 min (T3 ),10 min (T4 )of reaching the target concentra-tion.Cardiovascular event was also documented if there was any during the study.Results Compared with T0 ,the systolic pressure and diastolic pressure of 4 groups decreased at T1-T4 time point,LVEF,LVFS and cardiac output of group S2,S3,S4 decreased at T2-T4 time point,LVESD of group S3 and S4 increased at T2-T4 time point,with significant differences (P <0.05).Compared with group S1,group S2,S3 and S4 at T2-T4 time point,LVEF,LVFS and cardiac output decreased,LVESD of group S3 and S4 increased, the difference being statistically significant (P <0.05).Compared with group S2,LVESD of group S3 and S4 increased with significant difference (P <0.05).No hypotension occurred in group S1 and S2.Hypoten-sion in group S3 and S4 occurred in a rate of 20% and 30% respectively.Compared with group S1 and S2, the incidence of hypotension of group S3 and S4 increased (P <0.05).Conclusion Low concentration of sevoflurane anesthesia exerts no obvious effect on left ventricular function of elderly patients,however high concentration of sevoflurane anesthesia has obvious inhibition on left ventricular systolic function,but had no effect on left ventricular diastolic function.

6.Influencing factors for complete resection and operation time in endoscopic submucosal dissection for colorectal tumors

Objective To explore influencing factors for complete resection and operation time of endoscopic submucosal dissection( ESD) for colorectal tumors. Methods This retrospective study included 95 consecutive colorectal tumors in 88 patients whose pathological diagnosis was adenoma and carcinoma, treated with ESD at the Department of Endoscopy of the First Hospital of Jilin University from January 2013 to December 2014. Multiple logistic regression analysis was conducted on the factors related to complete resection and operation time. Results Average tumor size was 28. 7±14. 1 mm(range,8?80 mm), and the average procedure time was 80. 72±63. 90 min. The rate of complete resection was 92. 6%(88/95),and the rate of incomplete resection was 7. 4%(7/95). Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that fibrosis (P=0. 012,OR=52. 473, 95%CI:2. 571?1140. 438) contributed to incomplete resection. Fibrosis ( P=0. 001, OR=0. 045, 95%CI:0. 007?0. 289) ,tumor size ( P=0. 035,OR=0. 170, 95%CI:0. 033?0. 884) ,granular?type laterally spreading tumor ( P=0. 013, OR=34. 432, 95%CI:2. 138?554. 476 ) , non?granular?type laterally spreading tumor(P=0. 044,OR=31. 715, 95%CI:1. 093?919. 904) were independent factors for extending operation time of colorectal ESD. Conclusion The severer fibrosis can induce higher rate of incomplete resection. The more severe fibrosis is, the larger tumor size is, and the longer operation time is.

Moreover, the changes of cochlear tissues under the optical microscope wasa lot of akaryotes were found in the blood capillary of cartilaginous tissue in the rats of 30 minutes after rammed; a great quantity inflammatory cells were observed in the blood capillary of cartilaginous tissue in the rats of 1 day rammed. The changes of morphology coincided with the results of DPOAE. CONCLUSION Outer hair cells may be injured by cerebral concussion and the changes were showed by DPOAE and ABR.
8.Detection of Coronary Artery and Aortic Calcification During Lung Cancer Screening Using Spiral CT

Objective To study prevalence and clinical significance of coronary artery and aortic calcification in lung cancer screening using spiral CT. Methods 1877 subjects without symptom underwent lung cancer screening using spiral CT. Standard mediastinal windows were used for showing the presence or absence of calcification in coronary arteries and aorta.Results (1)The frequency of coronary artery calcification(CAC) was 15% in total 1877 subjects, the prevalence was higher in male than in famale(P0.05), the prevalence of aortic calcification increased with age in both male and famale. The frequency of calcification was the highest in the arch and lowest in the ascending aorta.Conclusion The lung cancer screening using spiral CT can be used to screen of coronary artery and aortic calcification.The detection of calcification of coronary arteries and aorta has important clinical significance which relates with coronary heart disease.
9.Breeding of High-yielding ?-galactosidase Strains from Protoplast of Aspergillus niger

The protoplasts of original Aspergillus niger strain Uco-3 were treated with the cooperation of UV and ?-ray to obtain the high-yielding strain producing the thermostable ?-galactosidase. Under the optimum conditions of formation and regeneration protoplasts were prepared. According to the interaction of positive mutation rate and radiation dose,the optimum condition was determined. The optimum dose of UV was 4 minutes and the optimum dose of ?-ray was 500 Gy. After mutagenetic treatment of protoplasts and selection from a lot of mutants,a mutant DL116 producing the thermostable ?-galactosidase was obtained. The ?-galactosidase activity of DL116 was increased from 16.27 U/mL to 44.37 U/mL,which was higher than that of strain Uco-3.

Objective To evaluate the expression of RAR-? gene in cervical carcinoma cell lines SiHa,HeLa,C33A and Caski and to analyze the relation between their gene expression and the promoter methylation of RAR-? DNA.Methods The expression of mRNA and protein of RAR-? gene in the four cell lines were analyzed by RT-PCR,western blot and immunofluoreseence,respectively.Methylation specific PCR(MSP)was used to check whether there was methylation in the promoter of RAR-? gene.The demethylating agent 5-aza-2'-deoxycytidine(5-Aza-cdR)was used to treat methylated cell lines and the change of RAR-? gene methylation and RAR-? gene expression defects were observed.The cell proliferation was assayed with 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide method.Results The mRNA and protein expression levels of RAR-? in cell lines SiHa,HeLa,Caski and C33A were 0.25 ?0.08,0,0.60?0.19,3.12?0.92 and 0.23?0.07,0,0.14?0.05,0.68?0.21,respectively.The mRNA and protein expression of RAR-? in SiHa,HeLa and Caski cell lines were decreased or silenced, whereas its expression increased in C33A cell line.MSP method showed that there were RAR-? gene methylation in SiHa,HeLa and Caski cell lines,while there was no RAR-? gene methylation in C33A cell line.After treated with 5-Aza-cdR,the mRNA and protein expression levels of RAR-? in SiHa,HeLa, Caski and C33A cell lines were 1.82?0.59,2.13?0.62,1.67?0.43,2.95?0.89 and 0.69?0.21, 0.83?0.29,0.56?0.16,0.64?0.20 respectively.The mRNA and protein levels of RAR-? had a significant difference between before and after interference with 5-Aza-cdR in SiHa,Helm,and Caski cell lines(P0.05).The 5-Aza-cdR treatment could suppress cell proliferation.Conclusions The RAR-? gene expression defects play an important role in the carcinogenesis of cervical cancer.Aberrant methylation in promotor region of RAR-? gene may be an important mechanism for the loss of expression of RAR-? gene.
