The expression of TF-1 cell apoptosis-related gene 19 (TFAR19), a novel apoptosis-related protein, in the thyroid tissues of Hashimoto′s thyroiditis (HT) was investigated. TFAR19 expression was barely detectable in normal thyroid tissues, whereas positive expression was found in the thyrocytes of HT patients. The results suggested that the activation of TFAR19 apoptosis pathway may play an important role in the pathogenesis of HT.

Objective To investigate the correlation of gestational diabetes mellitus and preeclampsia and its influence on delivery outcome.Methods A retrospective analysis of 4 636 pregnant women were made,who were sin-gleton pregnancy and gestational age≥32 weeks,and the data of GDM,PE,delivery outcome were collected.Then,the incidence of PE in GDM or non-GDM were compared,the delivery outcome in pregnant women without interval med-icine comorbidity ( A group) ,GDM pregnant women( B group) ,PE pregnant women( C group) ,pregnant women com-bined GDM and PE(D group) were analyzed.Results The incidence rate of GDM was 3.71%(172/4 636) in the whole,the incidence rate of PE was 5.65% (262/4 636).The incidence rates of PE among GDM and non-GDM pregnant women were 11.63%(20/172) and 5.42%(242/4 464),the difference was statistically significant(χ2 =5.983,P<0.05).The average pre-pregnant body mass index(BMI),Apgal scores at 1 minute and 5 minutes were compared,and the differences among the four groups were statistically significant( F=29.142,16.074,35.415,all P<0.01),and those in C group,D group were significantly lower than in group A and group B [t(C-A) =5.386, 4.821,5.224,t(C-B) =5.023,4.456,6.278,t(D-A) =6.753,5.012,6.443,t(D-B) =6.475,4.727,7.622,all P<0.01].The rates of neonate intensive care,giant baby natality,small-for-gestational-age children,premature labor were compared,and the differences among the four groups were statistically significant (χ2 =157.290, 96.129, 46.969,27.005,all P<0.1),the rates of neonate intensive care in C group and D group were higher than in A group and B group[χ2(C-A) =47.294,χ2(C-B) =15.547,χ2(D-A) =17.280,χ2(D-B) =7.088,all P<0.01],the rates of giant baby natality in B group were higher than A group,C group [χ2(B-A) =29.445,χ2(B-C) =6.597,all P<0.05],the rates of small-for-gestational-age children and premature labor in D group were higher than A group,B group and C group[χ2(D-A) =42.676,26.261,χ2(D-B) =9.070,10.879,χ2(D-C) =25.117,8.653,all P<0.01].Conclusion Pregnant women with GDM might have higher risk of suffering PE than those non-GDM gravidas,the PE,GDM com-bined with PE seriously influence perinatal outcome,pregnancy care should be strengthened to prevent and treat.

Objective To study formulation and characteristics of self-microemulsifying drug delivery system for breviscapine(BRV-SMEDDS).Methods The optimum formulations of BRV-SMEDDS were screened by solubility tests,formula compatibility,and pseudo-ternary phase diagrams.And the physicochemical characters,dissolution in vitro and in situ rat's intestine absorption of BRV-SMEDDS were also observed.Results The optimum formulation of SMEDDS was composed of Maisine 35-1-Cremophor RH40-PEG400-TEA=25∶40∶35∶7.The particle diameter was 88.6 nm.The percent of accumulated dissolution of BRV in SMEDDS in vitro was up to 97.8% at 1h,which was 8.0 times as much as that of BRV powder,and 5.1 times as BRV tablets.In the tests of in situ rat's intestine absorption,the permeability coefficient of BRV-SMEDDS was increased by 3.4 times as much as BRV powder,and 3.3 times as BRV tablets.Conclusion The dissolution and absorption of BRV is improved by formulation of SMEDDS.It could provide reference for the new dosage form of BRV.

Objective To investigate the drug resistance situation and the epidemiological characteristicin the tuberculoupatientin ordeto provide the reference foeffective prevention and treatmenof T.MethodTotally 2 271 patientwith posi-tive sputum smeapulmonary tuberculosi(TB) in the Jiangbei Branch Hospital of Chongqing Zhongshan Hospital from January 2009 to Decembe2013 were performed the drug resistance detection of 10 kindof anti-Tdrugs(isoniazid ,streptomycin ,rifampi-cin ,ethambutol ,para-aminosailcyliacid ,kanamycin ,pasiniazid ,protionamide ,capreomycin ,and ofloxacin) .ResultOf all 2 271 ca-seof positive sputum culture pulmonary T,the total drug resistance rate and total multi-drug resistance rate were 61 .91% and 26 .29% ,respectively ;the total drug resistance ratein initial treatmenand retreatmenpatientwere 52 .85% and 78 .06% respec-tively ,and the multi-drug resistance ratewere 16 .70% and 43 .38% ,respectively ;the top five in the average drug resistance ratefrom high to low were streptomycin(39 .45% ) ,isoniazid(33 .20% ) ,rifampicin(32 .94% ) ,para-aminosailcyliacid(31 .40% ) and pasiniazid(21 .53% );the anti-Ttreatmenhistory ,gende,age and occupation were significantly associated with the drug resist-ance occurrence (P＜0 .05) .Conclusion The drug resistance situation of the Tpatientin the local areof Chongqing iseriouin the recen5 year.The standardized managemenand treatmenon the Tpatientwith drug resistance should be strengthened .

OBJECTIVE: To prepare solid supersaturatable self-emulsifying drug delivery system of vinpocetine(VIN-S-sSEDDS) and to study its characteristics in vitro and in vivo.METHODS: VIN-S-sSEDDS was prepared by spray drying using hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose(HPMC) as supersaturation promoter and dextran-40 as solid carrier.VIN-S-sSEDDS was compared with conventional self-emulsifying drug delivery system containing vinpocetine(VIN-SEDDS) in respects of particle size,in vitro dissolution and bioavailability in rats(ig.).RESULTS: The particle size of VIN-S-sSEDDS(58.78 nm) was smaller than that of VIN-SEDDS(65.12 nm).The accumulative dissolution of VIN-S-sSEDDS within 2 h(88.7%) was higher than that of VIN-SEDDS(58.2%).The bioavailability of VIN-S-sSEDDS in rats(2.30) was higher than that of VIN-SEDDS(1.63).CONCLUSION: Prepared VIN-S-sSEDDS could apparently improve the dissolution and bioavailability of VIN,and it is superior to conventional self-emulsifying preparation.

Objective To investigate heart rate variability(HRV)of senile unstable angina patients complicated with depression and anxiety.Methods 39 senile unstable angina patients with depression and anxiety were selected as the A group,51 patients without depression and anxiety as B group.Their Holter reports(supervision)of two groups were analyzed.Results The SNDD,RMSSD,PNN50 in A group decreased compared with those in B group(P<0.05).The incidence of ventricular arrhythmias,ischemic ST segment depression and HRV in A group was higher than those in B group(P<0.05).Conclusion The senile unstable angina patients with depression and anxiety tend to have more ventricular arrhythmias,ischemic ST segment depression and less HRV.

The protoplasts of original Aspergillus niger strain Uco-3 were treated with the cooperation of UV and ?-ray to obtain the high-yielding strain producing the thermostable ?-galactosidase. Under the optimum conditions of formation and regeneration protoplasts were prepared. According to the interaction of positive mutation rate and radiation dose,the optimum condition was determined. The optimum dose of UV was 4 minutes and the optimum dose of ?-ray was 500 Gy. After mutagenetic treatment of protoplasts and selection from a lot of mutants,a mutant DL116 producing the thermostable ?-galactosidase was obtained. The ?-galactosidase activity of DL116 was increased from 16.27 U/mL to 44.37 U/mL,which was higher than that of strain Uco-3.

Objective To evaluate the effects of isokinetic quadriceps training with different ranges of motion for improving mal-patellar tracking after total knee replacement (TKR). Methods Isokinetic quadriceps training was administered to 52 TKR cases, involving 66 knee joints with poor patellar tracking. The subjects were randomly allocated into 3 groups for isokinetic training with ranges of 0-30°, 30-60° or 60-90°, with 22 knee joints in each group. The angular velocity was set at 30°/second. X-rays with loading and with 45° knee flexion were taken before and after the training. The lateral patello-femoral angle,the patella index and the patello-femoral index were recorded along with the maximum torque ( MT), the total work ( TW ), and the average work(AW) in the three different ranges of motion. Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) scores were also recorded. Results After 3 months of training, the average lateral patello-femoral angle, patella index, and patello-femoral index in the 0-30° training group were all significantly better than before the training. However, there was no significant difference in these measures for the 30-60° and 60-90° groups. After training average MT, TW and AW increased significantly in all groups, but the improvements were significantly correlated with the differences in lateral patello-femoral angles, patella indices and patello-femoral indices only for the 0-30°group. When compared with the baseline values, a statistically significant difference in HSS score after training was observed only in the 0-30° training group. Conclusions Isokinetic quadriceps training with a 0-30° range of motion can best realign patellar tracking after TKR, and best improve knee function.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the clinical efficacy and toxicity of gefitinib combined with Zhenqi Fuzheng capsule in treatment of senile non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) at the middle and late stages. Methods88 patients with NSCLC at Ⅲ b-Ⅳ were randomly divided into combined drugs group ( gefitinib combined Zhenqi Fuzheng capsule,n =46 cases) and single drug group (gefitinib,n=42 cases).After treatment for 60 d,the short-term efficacy,side effects and quality of life were observed and evaluated. The objective response and survival rate were assessed after following up for 2 years. Results The short-term efficacy rate in the combined drugs group (19.6 ％ ) was higher than single drug group (11.9 ％ ),but there was no significant difference between the two groups (x2=0.096,P＞0.05).The rate of Karnofsky score in improvement and stableness was 71.7％ in combined drugs group and 50.0％ in single drug group,and quality of life improved after combined drugs compared with single drug treatment (x2 =4.376,P＜0.05).The adverse effects in combined drugs group was some lower than in single drug group with no statistical significance.There was no differences in the survival rates of 2 years between the two groups(x2 =0.556,P＞0.05). ConclusionsThe gefitinib combined Zhenqi Fuzheng capsule in treatment of middle-and late-stage NSCLC is worthy to be popularized due to positive efficacy,less side effects and higher quality of life.

Objective To explore the clinical value of wave intensity(WI) curve of the carotid artery in patients with thyroid diseases and its value in evaluating cardiovascular function. Methods All 85 patients with thyroid diseases,including 45 hyperthyroidism and 40 hypothyroidism, were enrolled as case groups,while 270 healthy volunteers were considered as control. All the case groups and control were taken WI test under quiescent condition,and six continuous curves of the carotid artery diameter changes were recorded.Then the parameters of accelerating wave intensity (W1), decelerating wave intensity ( W2), negative area (NA) ,corrected R-W1 and W1-W2,elasticity modulus(Eρ) ,stiffness index(β) ,arterial compliance(AC) and pluse wave velocity(PWV) were calculated. Relationship between those indices and FT3 ,FT4 and TSH were analyzed by Pearson correlative analysis. Results The WI curve appeared differently among different groups,but the vessel elasticity indices did not have statistical significance. Correlation only existed between FT3 and part of the WI parameters. FT3 positively correlated with W1 ( r = 0. 951, P ＜0.01 ), NA( r =0.813, P ＜0.01) and W1-W2' ( r = 0. 887, P ＜0.01 ). And R-W1 ' negatively correlated with FT3( r =-0.878, P ＜0.01 ). Conclusions The WI curve could represent different function status of thyroid,and could be considered as a noninvasive examination for further clinical research,which may help explain the corresponding cardiovascular changes.
