Objective To investigate the serum levels of anti-BRAF antibody in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and its clinical significance.Methods Blood samples from 129 patients with RA,71 patients with other rheumatic diseases and 68 healthy controls were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA).The serum levels of anti-BRAF antibody in patients with RA were divided into high,medium and low groups,each group had 43 cases.The clinical symptoms,immunological findings and related imaging data of all cases were recorded.We investigated the relationship between the serum levels of anti-BRAF antibody and the clinical symptoms,immunological findings and related imaging changes of the RA group.Chi-square test,Mann-Whitney U test,Spearman's correlation test were used for statistical analysis.Results ① The serum levels of anti-BRAF antibody were significantly higher in RA group [A:1.093 (0.150-3.210)] than in other rheumatic diseases group [A:0.278 (0.093-0.455)] and healthy controls [A:0.202 (0.121-0.443)] (Z=-11.223,P=0.021 ; Z=-7.839,P=0.008 7).The serum levels of anti-BRAF antibody was not significantly different between patients with other rheumatic diseases group and healthy controls (Z=-0.905,P=0.445).② The difference in positive rate of rheumatoid factor (RF) in different groups of anti-BRAF antibody levels was statistically significant (λx2=10.14,P=0.006),namely the positive rate was significantlyhigher in the low-level group (88％) than in the high-level group (58％) (x2=10.03,P=0.002).Thepositive rate of anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibody and anti-keratin antibody of the three groups was not significantly different (x2=0.721,P=0.697; x2=1.735,P=0.188).③ There was significant negative correlation between the levels of anti-BRAF antibody and the course of disease (r=-0.233,P=0.047),RF(r=-2.84,P=0.039),IgM (r=-0.234,P=0.038),and hemoglobin (r=-0.287,P=0.032).There was no significant correlation between the level of anti-BRAF antibody and the joint swelling index (r=-0.133,P=0.230),joint pain index (r=-0.173,P=0.100),other clinical and laboratory parameters.There was significantly negative correlation between the ESR and hemoglobin level.④ There was no significant difference of the level of anti-BRAF antibody between the normal group and patients with bone destruction in the RA group (Z=-0.642,P=0.521).⑤ There was no significant difference in the level of anti-BRAF antibody between the normal group and patients with interstitial pulmonary fibrosis group in the RA group (Z=-0.121,P=0.904).Conclusion The anti-BRAF antibody can be used for the diagnosis of RA as a new autoantibody,and it can also be used in the diagnosis of early or RF-negative RA.There is no correlation between the level of anti-BRAF antibody and bone destruction and interstitial pulmonary fibrosis.

Fetuin A is a kind of glycoprotein that is synthesized and secreted by the liver.It is a natural inhibitor of insulin receptor tyrosine kinase,which is involved in the formation of insulin resistance.It is closely related to the nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.This paper reviews the related research on effect of fetuin A in the occurrence and development of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

Objective To measure the blood levels of mercury and arsenic of mother and umbilical cord, and analyze the relationship between these levels and outcome of pregnancy and complications. To explore the influential factors in order to guide a good birth and good care in pregnancy and lying-in women.Methods A total of 400 cases who were hospitalized in Xinhua hospital from March 2009 to August 2009 were included in this study. The blood levels of arsenic of mother and umbilical cord were determined by microwave digestion method and inductively coupled plasma emission mass spectroscopy method ( ICP-MS),while mercury determination was made using flame atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS). In addition, pregnant women were required to fill the questionnaire including their living environments, life styles,diet habits and etc. Results The newborn cord blood levels of mercury and arsenic were positively related to those of their mothers( r =0.88,0.91 respectively, P ＜0.05). The adverse pregnancy rates and complications rates in blood elevated mercury and arsenic groups were significantly higher than in the normal groups( x2 =7.07, 9. 94 respectively, P ＜ 0.01 ). Multiple regression analysis showed that the newborn blood mercury levels were significantly correlated to sea-fish eating, fruits supplement and ventilation during pregnancy. The former was a risk factor( Wald χ2 =8.28, P ＜0.01 ) and the later two were protective factors( Wald χ2 = 9.02, 6.05 respectively, P ＜ 0.05 ). Multiple regression analysis also showed that the newborn blood arsenic levels were significantly correlated to eating canned food, using cosmetics and education degree. Eating canned food and using cosmetics were risk factors(Wald χ2 =7.35, 10.38 respectively,P ＜ 0.05 ) while high education degree was protective factor( Wald χ2 = 8.87, P ＜ 0.05 ). Conclusion The newborn cord blood levels of mercury and arsenic were related to those of their mothers, environmental factors and health care during pregnancy. Health education and care during pregnancy were effective approaches for preventing mercury and arsenic poisoning.

Objective To evaluate the value of anti-carbamylated protein (CarP) antibody in the diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA).Methods The clinical data and serum of 247 in-patients with joint pain of Department of Rheumatology,General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University admitted during September 1,2015 to June 1,2016 were collected and divided into two groups according to the final diagnosis:RA group (case group) which included 126 patients and the non-RA group which included 121 patients (control group).The concentration of anti-CarP antibody in serum was measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).The serum rheumatoid factor (RF) and anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide (CCP) antibodies were detected at the same time.Mann-Whitney U nonparametric test for statistical analysis,receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) was drawn to determine the cut-off value of anti-CarP antibody to RA diagnosis and to analyze its diagnostic efficacy.Results The ROC curve showed that the anti-CarP antibody had a cutoff value of 63.77 U/ml,with the sensitivity of 74.60％,and specificity of 71.07％.Compared with RF and anti-CCP antibody,the area under the ROC curve (A) were:Aanti-cyclic citrullinted peptide(anti-CCP)antibody (0.88)＞ARF (0.85)＞Anti-CarP antibody (0.78).There was no significant difference between the Aanti-CCP antibodies and ARF as well as ARF and Aanti-CarP antibodies (Z=1.29,P=0.20;Z=1.30,P=0.20),but there was significant difference between Aanti-CCP antibody and A anti Carp antibody (Z=2.28,P=0.02).Conclusion Anti-CarP antibody has certain value in the diagnosis of RA,and can be used as the serological index for RA diagnosis.

Objective:To evaluate the safety of dental treatment in pediatric patients with leukemia. Methods:Eighty-nine patients were included and dental treatment was conducted under the condition of neutrophil counts ranging from 3.0?109/L to 10?109/L and platelet counts of more than 50?109/L. Supportive medical care was continued, the patients were monitored for at least one month after dental treatment for bleeding,pain,local and/or systemic infection,fever and other complications. Results:Dental treatments were performed successfully.All patients, except one with delayed wound healing after tooth extraction, recovered uneventfully. Conclusions:As long as the hematological values are within the suggested range, preoperative preparation and supportive medical care are well conducted,dental treatment can be safely performed in pediatric patients with leukemia.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the utilization and tendency of calcium products and calcium absorption enhancers in our hospital.METHODS:The calcium products and calcium absorption enhancers used in our hospital from 2005 to 2007 were analyzed statistically in respect of drug variety,consumption quantity,consumption sum and DDDs.RESULTS:Compound Calcium Amino Acid Chelate Capsules and Calcium Carbonate Chewable Tablets took the lead in clinical application.Leading the list of DDDs were Compound Calcium Amino Acid Chelate Capsules(Osteoform Capsules),Calcium Carbonate Chewable Tablets and Oyster Shell Tablets Calcium,however,the old generation calcium products had gradually become out of date.CONCLUSION:The use of calcium products and calcium absorption enhancers in our hospital was rational on the whole,but there are some problems which call for attention.

Objective To evaluate the predictive value of diffusion weighted imaging ( DWI) for progres-sion free survival(PFS)in patients with cervix cancer after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT).Methods Thirty two consecutive patients with pathologically confirmed cervical cancer underwent MRI including DWI before and after NACT.Pathologic results and MR images were reviewed .Univariate analysis was applied by Kaplan -Meier method.The Cox proportional hazard model was used to evaluate prognostic variables for multivariate analysis .Re-ceiver operating characteristic ( ROC) curves were used to find optimal cutoff values of independent prognostic fac -tors for disease progression.Results Of 32 patients,10 had disease progression during follow -up period.In uni-variate analysis,FIGO stage,tumor size,the depth of tumor invasion,lymph node metastasis and ADC changes be-tween before and after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (ΔADC) were significantly associated with the disease progres-sion.In multivariate analysis , FIGO stage and ΔADC were the independent prognostic factors for PFS .Optimal cutoff values that determined by ROC curves analyses were FIGO stage ⅡandΔADC 0.31.Area under the ROC curve(AUC)of FIGO stage and ΔADC were 0.841(sensitivity 90.0%,specificity 68.2%)and 0.864(sensitivity 80.0%,specificity 81.8%),respectively.Conclusion In patients with cervix cancer after NACT ,FIGO stage andΔADC are significant predictive values for PFS .

A simple and sensitive method was developed to screen ?-PL p ro duced strains from soils. 150mg/L K_2Cr_2O_7 was added to th e solid medium for actinomycetes enriching. A basic dye, methylene blue, incorp orated in the agar plate to detect alkali producers, because dye reacted with th e secreted basic polymers by electrostatic interaction with the secreted basic p dymers and formed special zoon. And then dragendorff regent was used to detect alkaloid producers. Four ?-PL producers were obtained by TLC analysis. Meanw hile, phylogenetic analysis of PL6-3 strain, including morphology, physiologica l and biochemical characters and chemotaxomy were performed and phylogenetic tre e was constructed based on the 16S rDNA sequences. And the results indicated th at PL6-3 strain is a member of Kitasatospora.

AIM: To evaluate the cardiac contractility and relaxation by Doppler tissue imaging (DTI) combined with myocardial contrast echocardiography (MCE) via injection of contrast media, Albunex. METHODS： Nineteen healthy mongrel dogs were conducted 60 min ligation of left anterior descending coronary artery (LAD), followed by reperfusion of 60, 120 and 180 min to establish an acute myocardial ischemic-reperfused canine model. (1) MCE was performed by bolus injection of Albunex at pre-reperfusion and at post-reperfusion. The perfused defect area defined by MCE at pre-reperfusion was regarded as risk area (RAMCE), while perfused defect area at post-reperfusion was regarded as no-reflow area (NRAMCE). When the ratio of NRAMCE to RAMCE exceeded 25%, myocardial reperfusion was considered incomplete, I.e., no-reflow group; If the ratio was <25%, myocardial reperfusion was considered adequate, I.e., reflow group. (2) Left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and wall thickness ratio (△T%) of LV anterior wall were determined. (3)S-wave, e-wave and a-wave velocities at the LV anterior wall were determined by DTI. The e/a ratio was measured. RESULTS: The results of MCE showed 7 dogs in reflow group and 10 dogs in no-reflow group. (1) LVEF in reflow group gradually increased with time course after myocardial reperfusion, and in no-reflow group, however, LVEF increasingly declined with ongoing myocardial reperfusion. At the same reperfusion time point, LVEF of no-reflow group was significantly lower than that of reflow group. (2) △T% in reflow group improved gradually, and however, it can not come back to that of baseline at 180-min reperfusion. △T% in no-reflow group had no signal of recovery with progressive reperfusion. (3) S-wave, e-wave velocities measured by DTI significantly declined after ligation of LAD, and a-wave velocity increased, leading to decline of e/a. After myocardial reperfusion, s-wave, e-wave velocities and e/a in reflow group gradually increased at post-reperfusion, and a-wave velocity somewhat declined. In no-reflow group, on the other hand, s-wave, e-wave velocities and e/a progressively declined and a significant difference was present between reflow group and no-reflow group (P<0.05). CONCLUSION: Cardiac contractility and relaxation can not be recovered during myocardial microvascular impairment. This change may be further deteriorated with size enlargement of no-reflow area. DTI may provide a sensitive, reliable method for quantifying cardiac contractility and relaxation.
