With the progress of science technology, the 3D technology has raised comprehensive attention for its application value in medical field, especially in the orthopedic field. It has been mainly used before complicated orthopedic surgeries, and several studies have focused on 3D duplicated materials used in the treatment of bone defect. However, there are seldom studies about the 3 D technology used during surgeries, such as whether it is possible to 3D print internal fixation materials of bone fracture (the materials have biodegradability and excellent biomechanical characteristics),which can not only promote the healing of fracture, but also reduce the pain of second surgery for the patient. This paper reviews and summarizes the exploration of foreign and domestic scholars about the application value of 3 D printing technology used in complicated bone fracture, and proposes a forecast to the developing trend of the technology used in future orthopedic surgeries.

Objective To investigate the relationship between children history of asthma and family history of asthma. Methods Three thousand and five hundred outpatients of asthma children were selected as investigation subjects.Family history of asthma was investigated in the form of questionnaire, and analyzed them from whether or not having family history of asthma, the first and second degree relative having family history of asthma. Results There was no family history of asthma in 1 659 cases(47.4%) and while 1 841 cases had family history of asthma(52.6%).The children who had family history of asthma were slightly more than those who had no family history of asthma.Among the 1 841 cases with family history of asthma, the first degree relatives with family history of asthma were more than those second degree relatives with fa-mily history of asthma. The incidence rate of relatives with family history of asthma on mother′s side was 59.9%,and the incidence rate of the father′s relatives was 40.1%.The incidence rate of mother′s relatives was higher than that of father′s relatives(P

Objective: To assess the activity of cathepsin D (CAT-D) and alpha-1 antitrypsin (AAT) in blood in patients with hip or knee osteoarthritis, and to explore whether these two enzymes could be served as serum biomarkers for cartilage degeneration. Methods: hTe activity of CAT-D and AAT in blood serum of 44 women and 26 men with hip or knee osteoarthritis was determined by the method of ELISA before total joint replacement and on the 10th day atfer the surgery. One hundred healthy volunteers were chosen as the control. All datawere analyzed by using SPSS19.0 sotfware. Results: Compared with the controls, the activity of CAT-D in patients with osteoarthritis was decreased by 25% (P<0.05) and 50% (P<0.05) before and atfer the surgery, respectively. hTe activity of AAT in the osteoarthritis patients before the surgery was not signiifcantly changed compared with the control group (P>0.05), but it was increased by 80% after the surgery than that in the control group (P<0.05). hTere was no signiifcant difference in the activities of 2 enzymes between hip and knee osteoarthritis (P>0.05). hTe gender, hypertension, diabetes and age did not affect the activities of the 2 enzymes (P>0.05). Conclusion: AAT might be a possible inflammatory indicator in the osteoarthritis. CAT-D and AAT enzymes are not affected by gender, age, hypertension and diabetes, etc, and they might be served as potential biomarkers for cartilage degradation.

0.05).Conclusion Low dose mifepristones increase the number of CD_(56)~+ NK cells and the percentage of CD_3~-CD_(56)~+ CD_(16)~-NK subset, which might result in the disturbance of human endometrial immuno-mieroenviromnent during receptive phase and lead to imolantation failure.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2003;0(10):-
Objective To explore the occurrence of diaphragmatic muscle fatigue(DMF) in children with pneumonia and its relationship with respiratory failure. Methods One hundred and twenty-six cases of pneumonia(pneumonia group) and 60 healthy children(healthy control group) were selected, and 2K-V1 type intelligence electric impedance respirograph was used to measure diaphragmatic function of the children in both groups to find if the ribcage-abdomen motion was synchronic and to calculate M levels. The abdomen impedance values as X-axis were calculated, which were regarded, and the chest impedance values as Y-axis were calcaulated, which described two-dimensional chart of ribcage-abdomen motion curve and the ? angle which was between connection of maximum X value to the smallest X value and the X-axis were calculated.According to the changes of chest-abdominal curve in one-dimensional chart and the changes of M value and ? angle, the degree of the diaphragmatic muscle fatigue was judged. Results There were 98 cases of DMF in the 126 children with pneumonia, and 68 cases of which were type Ⅰ DMF,and 30 cases were type Ⅱ DMF.One-dimensional chart showed contradictory chest-abdominal respiratory motional curve, and two-dimensional chart moved in a clockwise direction.M value was(46.1?8.4)%,? angle was(136.7?12.0) degrees in children with type Ⅰ DMF;One-dimensional chart showed that the peak value of chest-abdominal respiratory motional curve dislocates, and two-dimensional chart moved in a counter-clockwise direction.M value was(17.2 ? 3.2)%,? angle was(48.2 ? 9.5) degrees in children with type Ⅱ DMF;the control group had M value(4.3 ? 1.0)%,? angle was(31.7 ? 5.2) degree. There were significant differences in M value and ? angle between type Ⅰ DMF children, type Ⅱ DMF children and healthy children(Pa

Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(01):-
Objective To study the antitumor effect of toremifene on MCF7 cell lines, and investigate the role of mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway. Methods Inhibitory effect of toremifene alone or combined with MEK inhibitor PD98059 on MCF7 cells was measured by SRB test, and that on phosphorylated ERK was detected by Western blotting. Results Toremifene exhibited a concentration-dependent inhibitory effect on the activity of MCF7 cells.Phosphorylated ERK was significantly inhibited by 5,10 and 20 mmol/L toremifene.Combined with PD98059,toremifene had a significantly enhanced cytotoxity effect, which exceeded that of application alone. Conclusion Mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway may play an important role in the antitumor effect of toremifene which is independent of estrogens.Combined with PD98059,the antitumor effect of toremifene can be reinforced, indicating a synergistic effect of these two drugs.

To carry out bilingual education among seven-year-program students of clinical medicine is for further raising of professional English level of the students so as to cultivate highlevel medical personnel. We put emphasis on teaching material, the ability of teachers and courseware ,adopting the form and methods to make students comprehend and memorize easily, which has raised the students’interests and ability and helped them lay a solid foundation for the study of clinical knowledge.

ObjectiveTo compare the safety and efficacy of combined thrombolysis and systemic anticoagulation therapy for the treatment of cerebral venous and sinus thrombosis (CVST).MethodsA retrospective review of consecutive inpatients with CVST was undertaken. Patients were divided into two groups, combined thrombolysis group (CTG) and systemic anticoagulation group (SAG).CTG underwent improved thrombolysis scheme which included mechanical thrombus maceration and unremitting microdosis urokinase injection into the venous sinus besides low molecular weight heparin anticoagulation.Neurological deficits before and after treatment were graded with the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).Functional outcomes at discharge were graded on the modified Rankin Scale (mRS).ResultsThere were 30 cases in CTG ( male =9) and 86 cases in SAG ( male =23 ).There was no significant difference of neurological deficits before treatment between two groups(0-19 vs 0-17,Z =-0.474,P =0.636).After treatment,NIHSS and mRS at discharge were significantly decreased in CTG compared to SAG.There was no significant difference on the incidence of intracerebral hemorrhage. Conclusions Combined thrombolysis is better than systemic anticoagulation in improving neurological function.Combined thrombolysis does not increase incidence of ICH compared to systemic anticoagulation.
