[Objective]To seek for a method to rebuild radial head for comminuted radial head fractures, and recommend a new technique of bipolar radial head replacement.[Method]Five patients with fresh comminuted radial head fractures were treated by Tornier cement stem and bipolar radial prothesis.Among them, three were females and two were males, with the average age of 37.4Y(29-48Y).Four cases were to Mason type Ⅲ and one Mason type Ⅳ.All the patients underwent operation within 3-11 days with an average of 6 days after injury.Rehabilitation began in Mason type Ⅲ radial head fracture patients 48 h postoperatively. Both medial and lateral ligaments were repaired in one case of Mason type Ⅳ fracture.Plastic brace were used for 3 weeks during functional rehabilitation. The postoperative elbow joint was evaluated clinically by Broberg and Morrey score.[Result]All the patients healed by first intention were followed up for 7 to 50 months, with an average of 30 months.According to elbow functional evaluation criteria by Broberg and Morrey scores, there were excellent results in three and good in two respectively with an average of 92.2 points.[Conclusion]Cement stem and bipolar radial head prothesis replacement is a good technique for treating comminuted radial head fractures because it meets the designing principle of modern orthopaedics.
3. Rule of endophytic fungi on changes in content of plant hormones and enzyme during seed germination
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2019;50(3):716-721
Objective: To study the Methods: of endophytic fungi to break the dormancy of Acanthopanax senticosus seeds and the changes of endogenous hormones and enzymes. Methods: The seeds of A. senticosus were stimulated with endophytic fungi, then treated under thermophilic stratification. The content of endogenous hormones such as GA3, ABA, IAA, IBA, and SA, in the seeds of A. senticosus were tested by HPLC. And the changes of its in vivo enzymes (CAT, SOD, POD, and MDA) activity were tested. Results: Five strains of endophytic fungi from A. senticosus apparently promoted the germination of seeds. In the process of fluctuating temperature stratification, the content of GA3, IAA, IBA, and SA were increased, at the same time, the content of ABA was reduced. The activity of POD and MDA enzymes was significantly reduced, and the enzyme activities of CAT and SOD increased obviously. Conclusion: It is suggested that endophytes have significant effect on the content of seed hormones and enzymes, in addition endophytes could promote the initiation of seed germination.

Objective To explore clinical features and pregnancy outcomes of early-ouset severe pre-eclampsia. Methods Clinical data of 96 cases of severe preeclampsia who deliveried in Southeast University from November 2004 to February 2009 were analyzed. The patients were divided into two groups, early-onset preeclampsia group(onset gestatioual weeks <34) and later-onset preeclampsia group(onset gestatianal weeks≥34 ). Resnits Significant difference of two groups were found in central nervous system symptom and urine protein (+ +) or > 2 g/24 h (P<0.05), incidence of abnormal prenatal outcome (χ~2=14.792,4.741,27.03 respectively;P<0.05). Mean birth weight in early-onset preeclampsia group (1743.86±630.34)g was lower than that in later-onset pre-eclampsia greup(2940.47±762.36)g (t=6.71 ,P<0.05). Conclusions Clinical symptoms of early-onset severe preeclampsia are severe , and have a higher incidence of abnormal prenatal outcomes. Prevention, prediction ,diagno-sis and management of preeclampsia are important for mothers and children.

ObjectiveTo investigate the efifcacy of alarm treatment in a sample of China monosymptomatic nocturnal enuresis (MNE) children and adolescents with smaller than expected bladder capacity (EBC) for age. Methods Fifteen MNE pa-tients with a smaller than age-expected BC and without nocturia were included. All the patients were treated with enuretic alarm and water restriction 2 hours before sleep. All patients were followed up monthly. A success criterion was deifned as “14 con-secutive dry nights” after successive 2-3 months treatment. A relapse criterion was deifned as “more than two wet nights every two weeks” after therapy discontinuation. The relapsed patients were treated with enuretic alarm and followed up again. Results The patients consisted of 9 boys and 6 girls. The mean age was 9.76±4.24 years (6-15 years). Thirteen patients were successfully cured after three months treatment. Two patients discontinued the treatment and received the treatment of desmopressin. Five patients relapsed and received the enuresis alarm treatment again. Four patients had never relapsed, and one failed. The cure rate was 80%.Conclusions The enuretic alarm device is effective on MNE patients with a smaller than age-expected BC and without nocturia.

Objective To evaluate the effect of continuous adenosine infusion on mesentery microcirculation during cardiopulmonary resuscitation in rats with asphyxia. Methods Rat model of asphyxia was established in 22 healthy Wistar rats. The animals were then randomly divided into normal saline group (group A, n=10), epinephrine group (group B, n=6) and epinephrine plus adenosine group (group C, n=6). After a 3-min asphyxia without intervention, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was started. The cardiac compression was carried out with an electric cardio-pulmonary resuscitation machine (200 times/min). Respiration was restored and maintained with a ventilator with tidal volume of 4ml, breathing rate 50times/min and FiO2 100%. After a 4-min CPR, rats in group A and group B were given normal saline and epinephrine (bolus of 90?g/kg) respectively, and in group C epinephrine (bolus of 90?g/kg) plus 70?g/kg adenosine were given. Electric defibrillation would be initiated if there was ventricular fibrillation. The reperfusion rate of mesentery arterioles and venules, diameter of blood vessels and relative blood velocity were observed. Results The reperfusion rate of mesentery arterioles and venules was significantly higher in group C than in group B (P
