3.An initial study on serum CA125 in diagnosis to lung cancer
China Oncology 2001;0(02):-
35u/ml as positive limit, the sensitivity of CA125 for diagnosis of lung cancer is 53.6%. There was no significant difference between stage Ⅰ,Ⅱ lung cancer and benign, healthy groups, but the level of serum CA125 of stageⅢ?Ⅳ was higher than control groups. Thirty eight of forty lung cancer patients with higher CA125 level dropped to normal after therapy. Conclusions:Serum CA125 has high diagnosis value in lung cancer. It can be a vital index in lung cancer staging and prognosis.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 1988;0(05):-
After screening, the authors established a mouse model of pathomorphologically special, transplantable mammary spindle cell carcinoma SCC 891 in BALB/c mice. After 48 passages in 2.5 years, the growth of the tumor strain became stable with a 100% transplantibility. Its growth was quite active without observable spontaneous regression. The mean life span of the host mouse was 35.2?7.3 days.BALB/c mice of both sexes and of any age were susceptable to the carcinoma, and the carcinoma was sensitive to various anticancer drugs.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2010;16(7):610-612
Objective To compare the isometric muscle strength of muscle groups in the lower extremities of children with spastic hemiplegia among sides or ages. Methods17 spastic hemiplegic children were measured the muscle strength of hip, knee and ankle muscle groups with hand-held dynamometry (HHD). ResultsMuscle strength was weaker in the involved side than in the other side. In younger children, it was weaker of overall extremity, while in the older it was of the distal end mainly. ConclusionWhen applying strength training to spastic hemiplegic children, it is important to notice strength of all groups in lower extremity in younger children and the distal groups in older ones.

Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2011;10(5):320-323
Objective To investigate etiology and clinical features of acute pancreatitis (AP) in young patients. Methods In total, 423 patients with AP admitted to Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, Wuhan, Hubei province during January 2006 to December 2009 were retrospectively analyzed, 55 cases aged 34 years or less as young group and another 55 cases aged more than 34 years as middle- and elderly-age group. Their etiology, clinical features and illness scores based on some standard criteria were assessed. Results Proportion of varied etiologies of AP in young group was different from that in middle- and elderly-age one (x2 = 17. 107, P = 0. 009) , mainly as biliary and idiopathic pancreatitis in young group and as biliary and alcoholic pancreatitis in middle- and elderly-age one. Incidence of diet-related and idiopathic pancreatitis were higher in young group than that in middle- and elderly-age one ( x2 =4. 853, P = 0. 028 and x2=4. 274, P = 0. 039 ). Scores of the acute physiology and chronic health evaluation II ( APACHE II ) , Ranson criteria and the bedside index for severity in acute pancreatitis ( BISAP) were all lower in young group than those in middle- and elderly-age one (t = 5. 381 , P = 0. 000; t = 4. 388 , P = 0. 000 and t=3. 083, P = 0. 003 ) . There was no statistically significant difference in scores of computed tomography severity index ( CTSI) between young group and middle- and elderly-age one (t = ±0. 750, P > 0. 05 ) . Recurrence rate of AP was lower in young group than that in middle- and elderly-age one ( x2 =4. 251, P = 0. 039). Cholecystitis was more complicated in young group, pregnancy was more complicated in young group (x2 =4. 151 , P =0. 042) , and elevated blood glucose was more complicated in middle- and elderly-age one (x2 = 13. 285 , P = 0. 000 ) . Conclusions Etiology of AP varies in young patients with more dietary factors, occurrence of systemic complications and risks for death are lower in young group than those in middle- and elderly-age one, and there was no statistically significant difference in local complications and severity of illness between the two groups.

Traditional Chinese Drug Research & Clinical Pharmacology 1993;0(02):-
Objective To investigate the relationship of the anti-inflammatory effects of tetramethylprazine with histamine and 5-hydroxytryptaphane(5-HT).Methods The contents of histamine and 5-HT in the inflammatory exudate of rats were determined by fluorescence technique. The effect of tetramethylprazine on histamine and 5-HT were analyzed by in-vitro ileum contraction test in guinea pigs. Results Tetramethylprazine significantly decreased the contents of histamine and 5-HT in the inflammatory exudate, and markedly antagonized the contraction of isolated ileum induced by histamine and 5-HT.Conclusion The anti-inflammatory mechanisms of tetramethylprazine may be related to the inhibition of the synthesis or release of histamine and 5-HT,as well as its direct antagonism.

Objective To analyze the impact of rs3826392 polymorphism in MKK4 promoter on prognosis of colorectal cancer cases (CRC) receiving adjuvant chemotherapy. Methods The associations between rs3826392 genotype of 203 CRC cases receiving adjuvant chemotherapy and clinicopathologic factors, overall survival (OS), disease free survival (DFS) were analyzed retrospectively. Results No association was found between rs3826392 genotype and clinicopathologic factors (P > 0.05). TG+GG genotype had better OS (P = 0.018) and DFS (P =0.019) when compared with TT genotype. Cox multivariate model showed rs3826392 TG+GG genotype remained independent favorable factor for OS(HR = 0.389;95%CI = 0.177-0.855) and DFS(HR=0.491;95%CI = 0.271-0.890) respectively. Conclusion -1304G variant genotypes (i.e., TG+GG) in rs3826392 may be the biomarker of better prognosis in CRC receiving adjuvant chemotherapy.
