In this study, we explored the establishment of the database of Chinese medicine and minimally invasive surgery (MIS) for tumor based on the internet, thus to promote the application of Chinese medicine in the comprehensive treatment for tumor. The database was composed of general information database, Chinese medicine database, MIS database, which was characterized by the internet-based information system structure. Data exchange between net server and remote terminal can be achieved through the firewall. The results of testing performance showed that the established database can realize the real-time share of case report, and is convenient in basic retrieve and information analysis function, indicating the feasibility and stability of the database.

0.05).There was a positive corrlation on CD40~+ and CD40L~+ in chronic B hepatitis patients. There was a positive corrlation on CD8~+/CD28~+ and CD40~+、CD40L~+ in chronic B hepatitis patients. There were no remarkable corrlation on CD8~+/CD28~- and CD40~+、CD40L~+ in chronic B hepatitis patients. Conclusion:The costimulation molecules CD40~+、CD40L~+ and CD8~+/CD28~+ are lower, while CD8~+/CD28~- are higher in chronic B hepatitis patients than in the health. To test the expression of CD40~+、CD40L~+ and CD8~+/CD28~+ on peripheral blood of the chronic B hepatitis could help to evaluate patients's celluar immunity and guide clinical treatment.

Objective To explore the antibacterial activity of garlic solution against Campylobacter jejuni, and to provide theoriti-cal basis for further utilization of garlic. Methods Mashed garlic and extracted garlic solution.Antimicrobial susceptibility was de-termined by usig K-B disk diffusion test and broth dilution method. Results The minimal inhibitory concentration(MIC)of garlic solution against campylobacter jejuni was 40%.It showed positive correlation between bacteriostatic effect and concentration of gar-lic solution. Conclusion Garlic solution has strong bacteriostasis function to campylobacter jejuni.

Objective: To report our prelimilary experience of laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (LRP) for clinically localized prostatic cancer.Methods:23 cases with localized prostatic cancer underwent LRP in our institution from October 2000 to August 2003. The median age was 64.5 years old, the median PSA was 13 ng/ml and median Gleason score of biopsy specimens was < 7. The operations were performed according to Montsouris technique. Briefly, operations were carried out transperitonealty, combining posterior and anterior approachs to the prostate, transecting the bladder neck, lateral dissection of the prostate, urcthrovesical anastomosis, completing the operation. Results:No death and no conversion rate were observed in this series of 23 cases of LRP. No re-intervention was needed. The median operating time was 325 minutes (range 270 to 660 min) including the lymphadenectomy phase that was considered necessary in the case whose PSA value was 51ng/ml and pathological reading was negative to thoses lymph nodes; The median intraoperative blood loss was 430 ml(rang 200 to 1100 ml). Postoperative bladder catheterization time was 20 days. Surgical positive margin was found in I case of pathlogical stage of pT2b and Casodex 50 mg had been used on this case for 3 mon after the PSA value was < 0.2 ng/ml. Postoperation follow-up of 3 to 24 mo. showed no signs of complications such as urethral stricture or urine incontinence. The PSA concentrations was < 0.3 ng/ml in all cases. Conclusions: LRP provides a clear and magnified anatomical image to allow a more precise and safer dissection.

Objective To investigate the potential role and changes of CD14, TNF-ct and IL-10 in liver in Vibrio vulnificus septic rats, and detect the intervention effects of eefoperazone sodium combined with levofloxacin. Methods To make Vibrio vulnificus sepsis model (VV group) and drug intervention model (AA group) in rats, the expression of CD14, TNF-α, IL-10 in liver were detected by RT-PCR. Results Compared with normal control (NC) group,CD14 mRNA and TNF-α mRNA expression increased markedly at 2, 6, 9, 12, 16 h in VV group (P<0.05), IL-10 mRNA raised greatly at 9, 12, 16 in VV group (P<0.05). CD14 mRNA expression was also rised in AA group at 9 h(P<0.05). TNF-α mRNA at 9, 12 h and IL-10 mRNA at 9, 12, 16 h in the AA group increased (P<0.05). Compared with VV groups, CD14 mRNA expression diminished greatly at 9, 12, 16 h in AA group (P <0.05), TNF-α mRNA and IL-10 mRNA diminished in the AA group at 16 h(P<0.05). Conclusion The treatment with cefoperazone sodium and levofloxacin may reduce expression of CD14, TNF-α and IL-10 in liver of rats with VV sepsis, it may inhibit the level of pro-inflammatory/anti-inflammatory cytokines, thereby regulating the balance of the inflammatory response in VV sepsis.

To investigate the prevalence of mental health problems in male violent offenders of Hunan and Sichuan Provinces; and to compare the types and severity of problems between the violent and nonviolent offenders.Methods:Ninety-one violent juvenile offenders and 64 nonviolent juvenile offenders in the juvenile detention centers of Hunan, and 81 violent juvenile offenders in the juvenile detention centers of Sichuan; 39 high school students from a middle school of Hunan Province and 49 from a middle school of Sichuan Province were investigated using the Investigation Screening Inventory for Child Mental Disorder and the Kiddy Schedule for Affective Diseases and Schizophrenia (K-SADS-PL),and classified according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. Results:In the Hunan violent group,86.6% met the criterion of conduct disorder (CD),17.6% of substance abuse,9.9% of substance dependence, while in the Hunan nonviolent group,75.0% met the criterion of CD,and 11.7% of substance abuse; these were all significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05).In the Sichuan violent group,17.3% met the criterion of attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD),18.5% of oppositional defiant disorder (ODD),69.1%of CD,and 22.2% of substance abuse; these were all significantly higher than those of the Sichuan control group.Moreover,63.7% of Hunan-violent,55.6% of Sichuan-violent,and 45.0% of Hunannonviolent offenders had a previous offence records. Conclusion:Mental and behavioral disorders among delinquent youth is becoming a serious problem, and there is an urgent need to develop and implement effective assessment and treatment approaches for juvenile offenders with the aim of reducing offence and recidivism in this population.
