Objective To research and evaluate measuring Toric intraocular lens (Toric IOL) alignment by iTrace aberration without mydriasis.Methods Forty-five eyes of 35 patients underwent phacoemulsification in Tianjin Medical University Eye Hospital from June 2015 to February 2016 were enrolled.Follow-up and iTrace aberration examination were performed at postoperative 1 week.The internal optics aberration astigmatism axis was transformed into postoperative Toric IOL alignment.The result and the Toric IOL alignment measured by tradition slitlamp method were compared by linear correlation and difference.Results At postoperative 1 week,the uncorrected distant visual acuity and corrected distant visual acuity were (0.19 ± 0.12)LogMAR and (0.10 ±0.09) LogMAR.The UCVA was 20/40 or better in 42 eyes (93.3％).The mean IOL misalignment measured by slitlamp was (3.13 ± 2.86) degrees (ranged 0-9 degrees) and by the iTrace aberration was (4.44 ± 3.42) degrees(ranged 0-13 degrees),there was statistical significant difference (t =-2.321,P =0.025).The mean difference in the error of the Toric intraocular lens alignment measured by iTrace aberration and the slitlamp was (3.67 ± 3.59) degrees (ranged 0-14 degrees).The results showed that there was less than 5 degrees of difference between the two methods in 32 eyes (71.1％),locate 5 to 10 degrees in 9 eyes (20％),more than 10 degrees in 4 eyes (8.9％).The correlation between the 2 methods showed significant linear relationship (r =0.926,P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion Using iTrace aberration can accurately measure Toric intraocular lens alignment without mydriasis,the result has some reference value.

Objective To study the efficacy of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE )and continuous portal vein perfusion chemothepary (VPC) on advanced hepatocellular carcinoma cells (HCC). Methods The patients in group A (n=83) received the epirubicin (EPI) 40 mg and the cisplatin (CDDP) 80mg, lipiodol-anticancer drug emulsion was injected into the feeding arteries of tumors followed by embolization with gelatin sponge (GS) particles. Objective To analyze the reproducibility of keratometry and astigmatism measured by the VERION Digital Guidance System and the comparability of VERION with iTrace,Lenstar LS900 and manual keratometer.Methods The keratometry of 62 cataract patients were measured using four different devices.The steep keratometry (Ks),flat keratometry (Kf),astigmatic magnitude,astigmatic axis,cylinder at 0-degree meridian (vector component,J0) and cylinder at 45-degree meridian (vector component,J45) from each machine were recorded and analyzed.The three repeated measurements and the results of VERION system with other three devices were compared to analyze the reproducibility and comparability of VERION system.Results Reproducibility:Intraclass correlation coefficients and Cronbach's alpha values were higher than 0.9 for Ks,Kf,astigmatic magnitude,astigmatic axis,J0 and J45 measured by the VERION system (all P ＜ 0.001).Comparability:The results of Ks and magnitude of astigmatism of VERION were larger than the iTrace (all P ＜ 0.05) in the paired-samples t test.There was no statistical difference for the rest of parameters (all P ＞ 0.05).The Bland-Altman graphs revealed the 95％ limits of agreement (LOA) of J0,J45 and the astigmatic axis between VERION and iTrace were (-0.31-0.35) D,(-0.25-0.31) D and-13.5 °-12.3 °,respectively;There was no statistical differences for all parameters except for J45 in the paired-samples t test between the VERION and Lenstar LS900 (all P ＞ 0.05).The Bland-Altman graphs revealed the 95％ LOA of J0,J45 and the astigmatic axis were (-0.25-0.31)D,(-0.27-0.36) D and-13.5°-11.0°,respectively;There were statistical differences for the results of Kf and magnitude of astigmatism between the VERION and manual keratometer (all P ＜ 0.05).The Bland-Altman graphs revealed the 95％ LOA of J0,J45 and the astigmatic axis between VERION and manual keratometer were (-0.38-0.35) D,(-0.41-0.42) D,-12.6°-16.4°,respectively.Conclusion The VERION system is a reliable system for the measurement of keratometry and astigmatism.The keratometry and astigmatic magnitude of the VERION system have a good agreement with the iTrace,Lenstar LS900 and manual keratometer.However,the astigmatic axis measurements are significantly different among the four devices.

ObjectiveTo study the effects on growth characteristics of cells mutated by outer space. Methods5 tumor cell lines and 1 bio-pharmaceutical cell line were carried in the recoverable satellite No.18 and returned after 18 days flying in outer space.The cell living systems were utilized in passive carrying. Some survival cells were monocoloned, and the experimental methods such as cell morphological observation,MTT assay and FACS were used for analysis of cell growth characteristics. ResultsThe survival cell rates of tumor cell lines and bio-pharmaceutical cells were markedly different. Compared with the control group, mutated cells appeared to have multiple cell morphological changes and the cell number of G1 phase was increased markedly (P<0.05). Growth rate in mutated cells were varied without specific discipline. ConclusionEffects of outer space on growth characteristics were complicated and multiplex in mutated cells,which were not all heredity in further passage. The differences of the monoclonal cell lines provide the potential to obtain optimizing cell lines by screen.

By retrieving the clinical research literature of treatment functional dyspepsia by traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) from January 2004 to December 2014 based on China National Knowledge Internet (CNKI), we would establish a TCM decoction database for treating functional dyspepsia in this study. One hundred and sixty-four literature were included, involving 159 prescriptions, 377 medicines, in a total of 1 990 herbs. These herbs can be divided into 18 categories according to the effectiveness; and qi-regulating herbs, blood circulation herbs, and antipyretic herbs ranked top three ones according to the frequency of usage of the herbs, whose medicine usage frequency accounted for 51.81%. Usage frequency of 16 herbs was over 30, and Atractylodes, Radix, Poriaranked top three according to the usage frequency. Medicinal properties were divided into 9 kinds according to the frequency statistics, and the top three were warm, flat, and cold. Taste frequency statistics were classifiedinto 9 kinds, and the top three were acrid, sweet, and bitter. In frequency statistics of the meridian tropism of herbs, it was classifiedinto 11 kinds, and the top three were spleen, stomach, lung. The analysis can provide a reference for treatment and study of TCM of functional dyspepsia.

Objective To explore the risk factors in elderly type 2 diabetes mellitus with cerebral infarction. Methods Retrospective investigarion was performed on 148 elderly hospitalized patients with type 2 diabetes.The patients were classified based on the presence or absence of cerebral infarction and compared with 60 controls.Logis- tic regression analysis was used to reveal the risk factors for cerebral infarction.Results The levels of systolic blood pressure(SBP),body mass index (BMI),fasting blood glucose (FBG),total cholesterol (TC),triglyceride (TG) and plasma fibrinogen(Fg) were higher in the patients with cerebral infarction[141.15?17.46)mmHg,(23.81?3.53)kg/m~2,(8.82?2.81)mmol/L,(5.69?1.15)mmol/L,(2.08?0.75)mmol/L and (4.08?0.65)g/L] than those without cerebral infarction[(129.78?14.65) mmHg,(22.18?3.22)kg/m~2,(7.06?1.72 )mmol/L,(5.09?1.12)mmol/L,(1.62?0.43)mmol/L and (3.48?0.58)g/L].The logistic analysis showed COUR,SBP,FBG, TC,TG and Fg were the independent risk factors for cerebral infarction.Conclusion Early intervention of the inde- pendent risk factors including SBP,FBG,TC,TG and Fg in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes was important for reduction and postponement of cerebral infarction.

Objective:To systematically evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of tuina therapy for primary insomnia.Methods:Nine Chinese and English databases were searched from the inception to May 2017 to identify randomized controlled trials (RCTs) studying tuina therapy for insomnia.The enrolled articles were all RCTs with tuina as the monotherapy or major therapy in the experiment group,with clear diagnostic criteria for primary insomnia well recognized worldwide or in China,and Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQ I) as one of the outcome measures.Two researchers evaluated the risk of bias and quality of the enrolled studies by following Cochrane Handbook version 5.1.0.The meta-analysis was performed by RevMan version 5.3.Results:Eleven studies were included with a total of 1 076 participants.The Western medication adopted in the control groups were benzodiazepine receptor agonists.The studies were all assessed as high risk of bias for blinding since blinding method was unable to be performed due to the specificity of tuina therapy;no study reported the support of fund or potential interest conflict,so they were all rated unclear for selective reporting.The meta-analysis showed that compared with other traditional Chinese medicine therapies,tuina worked more effectively in reducing the PSQI score (MD=-4.11＜0,95％ confidence interval (CI)-6.01 to-2.22,P＜0.0001);compared with oral administration of Western medication,tuina showed more significant efficacy in reducing the PSQI score (MD=-3.42＜0,95％CI-5.19 to-1.66,P＜0.0001).Subgroup analysis showed that head tuina alone showed no significant difference compared with oral administration of Western medication regarding the change of PSQI score (MD=-4.19＜0,95％CI-8.87 to 0.50,P＞0.05);a combination of head and back tuina could more effectively reduce the PSQI score compared with oral administration of Western medication (MD=-2.08＜0,95％CI-3.09 to-1.06,P＜0.0001).Conclusion:Tuina can produce more significant efficacy in treating primary insomnia compared with other traditional Chinese medicine therapies and oral administration of Western medication,especially the combination of head and back tuina.
