OBJECTIVE:To study the econamics effect of risperidone and quetiapine in treating of schizophrenia.METH ODS:64schizophrenia patients were randomly divided into risperidone group(34cases)and quetiapine group(30cases).The effects were evaluated based on the reduction of scores determined by brief psychiatric rating scale(BPRS);the adverse effects were evaluated by treatment emergent symptom scale(TESS).And then the cost-effectiveness analysis was carried through.RESULTS:The per capita costs for risperidone and quetiapine were3598.85yuan and3778.63yuan respectively;the re-duction of BPRS scores were(36.09?15.52)and(25.03?14.45)respectvely;the respective cost-effect ratio was99.72yuan and150.96yuan;the increment of the cost-effect ratio for the quetiapine group was-16.25compared with the risperidone group.CONCLUSION:Risperidone is more economical than quetiapine in the treatment of schizophrenia.

OBJECTIVE:To analyze the cost-effectiveness of3kinds of Chinese patent drugs in the treatment of insomnia outpatients.METHODS:78outpatients with insomnia were randomly divided into group A,group B and group C,and they were treated with shumian capsule,sweet dream capsule and compound semen ziziphi spinosae capsule,respectively,then,cost-effectiveness analysis was carried out with pharmacoeconomics.RESULTS:The per capita costs(C)for group A,B and C were288.20yuan,163.08yuan and139.22yuan respectively,the reduction in PSQI scores(E 1 )were5.15,8.88and11.84respectively,the effective rates(E 2 )were26%,46%,and64%respectively;The average cost-effect ratios C/E 1 were55.96,18.36,and11.76respectively;C/E 2 were11.08,3.55,and2.18respectively;The increment of the cost-effect ratios?C/?E 1 for group A and B were—22.27and—8.06respectively;?C/?E 2 were—3.92,—1.33respectively,as compared with group C.CONCLUSION:Compound semen ziziphi spinosae capsule is more economical in3drugs in treating insomnia outpatients.

AIM:To evaluate the recovery about the visual cortex function of stereopsis in anisometropic amblyopia after regular amblyopia treatment 6, 12 and 18mo with blood oxygenation level dependent - function magnetic resonance imaging techniques ( BOLD-fMRI) .
METHODS: In this study, self-controlled study before and after treatment was used, and blocks-designed fMRI was performed on 11 children which was the first phase of research for amblyopic treatment. Functional MRI data were processed by using SPM8 which based on the Matlab 7. 12. 0. 635. Through the hypothesis drive method, the differences range of activated area in each group were compared by before and after amblyopia treatment matched t-test.
RESULTS: The functional area that was left occipital lobe (BA18), middle occipital gyrus (BA19), limbic lobe (BA19), lingualis gyrus of the right occipital lobe (BA17) and the bilateral parietal lobe ( BA7 ) expanded after amblyopia treatment 6, 12mo, compared those treatment phase, mean t value was 1. 5762, 1. 6856 respectively (P<0. 001). However, the difference of activated intensity was lower after 18mo, mean t value was 1. 1473 (0. 001 CONCLUSION: In children anisometropic amblyopia, the speed of function reconstruction about visual cortical functional mediating stereopsis increase slowly after amblyopia treatment 1a.

Objective To explore the expressions and significances of the tumor stem cell markers CD133-2,CD24 and CD44s in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) tissues and their association with the clinical pathologic characteristics.Methods Expressions of CD133-2,CD24 and CD44s were analyzed by immunohistochemistry (SP) in 83 cases of primary HNSCC tissues and 46 cases of normal epithelia.Clinicopathological indexes were assessed.Results In primary HNSCC tissues and normal epithelia,the expression rates of CD133-2 and CD24 were 9.64 ％ (8/83),21.74 ％ (10/46) and 90.36 ％ (75/83),46.67 ％ (21/46)respectively,which had statistically significances (x2 =15.040,5.818,P ＜ 0.05).CD44s expression was detected in primary HNSCC tissues and normal epithelia,but their staining scores had statistical significance (Z =-4.262,P ＜ 0.05).In primary HNSCC tissues,the expression of CD133-2 had negative correlation with differentiation degree (x2 =7.246,P ＜ 0.05),but CD24 and CD44s had positive correlation with differentiation degree (x2 =9.005,44.765,P ＜ 0.05).In addition,the expression of CD44s in primary HNSCC tissues had negative correlation with T classification (x2 =4.650,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The expressions of CD24 and CD44s in primary HNSCC tissues are highly up-regulated with tumor cells differentiation,and further research needs to be performed to discover whether or not CD24 and CD44s could be the markers of tumor stem cells of HNSCC.The expression of CD133-2 in primary HNSCC tissues is highly down-regulated with tumor cell differentiation.As one of the tumor stem cell markers of HNSCC,CD133-2 may play an important role in the development and clinical outcomes of tumor.

AIMTo prepare the micelles of stearic acid-grafted chitosan oligosaccharide and investigate the drug release from micelles.

METHODSMediated by a 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl) carbodiimide (EDC), stearic acid (SA) was covalently attached to chitosan oligosaccharide (CSO), and the graft polymer (CSO-SA) was obtained. The critical aggregation concentration (CAC) of the CSO-SA was determined by measuring the fluorescence intensity of pyrene as a fluorescent probe. The effect of various pH dispersed media and concentration of tripolyphosphate sodium (TPP) on the micellar size distribution and zeta-potential measured by light scattering and electrophoretic mobility, was investigated. In buffers of different pH, the release profiles of methotrexate (MTX) from micelles were evaluated.

RESULTSThe CAC value of CSO-SA in deionized water was 0.05 g x L(-1). The mean diameter of CSO-SA micelles was 26.7 nm and the zeta potential was (55.9 +/- 0.1) mV. With the increase of TPP concentration, the size and MTX encapsulation of CSO-SA micelles increased, while the zeta-potential decreased. With the decrease of pH value of dispersed media, the size and zeta-potential of CSO-SA micelles increased, and the MTX encapsulation in CSO-SA micelles decreased. While the enhancement of drug release from the micelles was observed.

CONCLUSIONThe graft polymer of CSO-SA provides polymeric micelles, which possessed a low CAC value in aqueous media. The drug release in vitro from CSO-SA micelles was affected by the pH of delivery media.

[ Objective] To explore the variation features of contrast enhanced ultrasound ( CEUS) quantitative parameters and its correlation with tumor microvessel density ( MVD ) , after the treatment of living liver cancer using high intensity focused ultrasound ( HIFU ) . [ Methods ] A group of 30 New Zealand white rabbits were made into VX2 liver cancer models, that were randomly divided into control group ( n =15, not HIFU treatment) and treatment group ( n =15, HIFU treatment).CEUS was performed, then obtaining ascending slope(AS),arrival time(AT),time-to-peak(TTP),peak intensity ( PI) ,area under curve ( AUC ) .And correlation analysis was performed with MVD obtained by immune histochemical method. [ Results ] Compared with those in the control group, AS, PI, AUC were significantly decreased in treatment group (P <0.05) and so was MVD (P <0.05).AT,TTP were significantly delayed than those in the control group (P<0.05).The AS, PI, AUC of CEUS quantitative parameters were positively correlated with MVD (P<0.05).The AT, TTP respectively showed a negative correlation with MVD ( P<0.05) . [ Conclusion] CEUS quantitative parameters of liver cancer tissue have high correlation with MVD.It can reflect the microvessel structure change of the liver cancer tissue and help to judge the curative effect and prognosis of HIFU for liver cancer.

OBJECTIVETo measure the stability of Evans procedure and Chrisman-Snook technique in the treatment of II degree lateral collateral ligament of ankle joint, and provide basis for treatment and prognosis.

METHODSFrom July 2008 to June 2009,18 frozen corpes were collected, including 10 males and 8 females, with an average age of fresh 39.3 +/- 11.2 years. The frozen corpes were randomly divided into three group, including normal controls(group A), Evans procedure (group B) and Chrisman-Snook technique ( group C), 6 specimens in each group. Anterior talofibular ligament and calcaneofibular ligament were cut off to cause II degree lateral collateral ligament in group B and C. Evans procedure or Chrisman-Snook technique were applied to restore lateral collateral ligament, and measure biomechnics. The displacement of tibiotalar joint and subtalar joint were observed.

RESULTS(1) The lateral stress results of tibiotalar joint showed the displacement by Evans procedure (group B) was greater than other groups (P < 0.0001). There were no significant differences between group A and C (P > 0.05). (2) The lateral stress results of subtalar joint showed the displacement by Evans procedure (group B) was greater than other groups (P< 0.0001). There were no significant differences between group A and C (P > 0.05).

CONCLUSIONAnkle instability is caused by ankle joint lateral collateral ligament injury. Chrisman-Snook technique is better than Evans procedure in stability on the early stage of ankle joint restoration, and conform to principle of biomechanics.
