Objective To explore whether pollutants exposure has a measurable impact on lung function and inflammatory factors level of healthy pupils in vehicle exhaust polluted region. Methods Primary school near the trunk road with a distance no more than 30 meters was selected,and 50 qualified pupils were chosen. A time-series panel study was conducted with these pupils,and the following consecutive five days'study of vehicle exhaust pollution level,3-days’personal exposure measurement and its health effects were carried out in May and November in 2008. Results The main pollutant in this region was motor vehicle exhaust. Compared to May,the value of FVC% declined significantly in November(P=0.02) . And the reduction of the value of FVC% was negatively associated with an increase in NO2 concentrations(P=0.04) . The levels of IL-2,IL-6,IL-8 became lower in November compared with May,and were negatively associated with personal exposure with IL-6 with statistically significant difference(?PM10=-0.62,?NO2=-0.62,?O3=-0.64,?SO2=-0.63) . The levels of TNF-? and IL-4 were positively associated with personal exposure,in which PM10 has the largest regression coefficient with TNF-?(?=0.65,P

Objective To analyze the current situation of voluntary counseling and testing(VCT) and improve HIV/AIDS prevention and control in Jiangxi province.Method VCT services in the province were analyzed using descriptive methodology.Result The province is in shortage of full time VCT workers.Of the individuals receiving pre-testing counseling,those receiving post-testing counseling and receiving referral counseling accounted for 5.22% and 1.39%,respectively.The individuals receiving tests mostly were aged 20-29 years,and a little less were aged 30-39 years.Higher positive rates of HIV screening tests were found in Pingxiang and Nanchang cities,accounting for 39.13% and 26.09%,respectively.Conclusion To improve VCT service and contain the spread of HIV/AIDS in this province,it is necessary to establish VCT networks,upgrade quality of counseling service and publicize VCT and its outreach activities among target population.

Objective To investigate MSCT findings of hepatic focal nodular hyperplasia(FNH),and improve its diagnostic value. MethodsThree-phasia MSCT scans of 16 cases with FNH confirmed by pathology were reviewed retrospectively. ResultsThere was single in 13 cases,double in 3 cases.17 lesions is hypodensity and 3 lesions is isodensity on plain MSCT.During MSCT enhancement all lesions were markedly and homogeneously enhanced in arterial phase.isodensity in portal and delay plase.1 lesion found scar. ConclusionDynamic contrast-emhanced MSCT could show the charcteristics of FNH.

Objective To study on the efficacy and safety of treating achalasia by gastroscopic balloon dilation under anesthesia. Methods Fifteen patients with achalasia were given intravenous propofol and midazolam before dilation. Patient's feeling or distress and operative duration were recorded. The changes of blood pressure (BP) , heart rate ( HR) and blood oxygen saturation ( SpO2 ) were also recorded and analyzed. OBJECTIVETo explore effects of Tongxinluo Capsule (TC) on platelet activating factor (PAF), vascular endothelial function, thrombolysis in myocardial infarction (TIMI) blood flow, and heart function in acute myocardial infarction (AMI) patients after delayed percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).

METHODSTotally 80 AMI inpatients were recruited at Department of Cardiology, People's Hospital of Jiangxi Province, from Jan. 2008 to Sep.2013. Those in line with inclusion criteria were randomly assigned to TC treatment group and the conventional treatment group by random digit table, 40 in each group. Besides, another 40 healthy subjects from examinees at Outpatient Department were recruited as a healthy control group. PCI was performed after 1-week treatment. Then blood samples were collected, and then blood contents of CD62P, CD63, GP II b/III a, ET-1, NO, and plasma von Willebrand factor (vWF) levels were detected. Coronary TIMI blood flow and corrected TIMI frame count (CTFC) were determined during PCI. Meanwhile, noninvasive blood pressure (BP) and heart rate (HR) were recorded before and after PCI, and cardiac function measured. They were compared with the healty control group.

RESULTSCompared with the healthy control group, blood contents of CD62p, CD63, GP II b/IIIa receptor compound, vWF, and ET-1 significantly increased, but NO significantly decreased in AMI patients (all P < 0.05). After 1-week intervention of TC, blood contents of CD62p, CD63, GP II b/IIIa receptor compound, vWF, NO, and ET-1 significantly decreased (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). Compared with the conventional treatment group at the same time point, blood contents of CD62p, CD63, GP II b/IIIa receptor compound, vWF, and ET-1 decreased more significantly in the TC group (P < 0.05, P < 0.01), increased NO levels were also more obviously seen (P < 0.01). The aforesaid parameters changed more obviously at day 30, as compared with those changes at week 1 (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). The TIMI blood flow grade and CTFC were more obviously improved after PCI in the two treatment groups. Better TIMI blood flow was seen in the TC group. TIMI level 3 blood flow rate was higher in the TC group than in the conventional treatment group with statistical difference (P < 0.05). The left ventricular ejective factor (LVEF) after PCI was obviously elevated in the TC group and the conventional treatment group (P < 0.01), and the improvement was more obviously seen in the TC group (P < 0.05). There were 6 cases of recurrent angina, 3 cases of ventricular tachycardial (VT)/ventricular fibrillation (VF), 6 cases of heart failure (HF), 1 case of cardiac sudden death in the conventional treatment group, with the total incidence of cardiovascular events being 40% (16/40). There were 2 cases of recurrent angina, 2 cases of VT/VF, 2 cases of HF, no cardiac sudden death in the TC treatment group, with the total incidence of cardiovascular events being 15% (6/40). There was statistical difference in the recurrent rate of cardiovascular events between the two groups (χ² = 2.27, P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONTC not only could prevent coronary embolism of AMI patients after delayed PCI, attenuate vascular endothelial injury, but also could improve TIMI blood flow, and strengthen cardiac systolic function.

To observe the clinical efficacy of combined acupuncture and Tuina in the treatment of enuresis following occult cleft spine and seek quantified indexes for result assessment, 40 subjects were treated by above methods and B-ultrasonically examined before and after treatment to determine the capacity of bladder and the residual urine inside it. The total effective rate was 90%; there was a difference of the capacity of bladder between before and after treatment (P＜0.05); 11 cases suffered from residual urine, and there was also significant difference of residual urine between before and after treatment (P＜0.01). It is revealed that this method can increase the capacity of bladder and diminish residual urine.

Objective To analyze mRNA and protein expressions of plasminogen activator and plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 using microdissection and quantitative real-time PCR,and to analyse their associations with microvascular diseases in IgA nephropathy.Methods Twenty-four IgA nephropathy patients treated in Kidney Center and Kidney Laboratory of PLA from 2000 to 2004 were admitted into the study;20 renal glomeruli or 200 renal tubules and peritubular interstitial per patient were captured by Laser Microdissection System from IgA nephropathy renal biopsy slides(8 ?m),and mRNA was extracted.PA mRNA and PAI-1 mRNA levels in glomerulus and tubulointerstitial area were measured by Taqman quantitative real-time PCR.Capillaries densities in glomerulus and tubulointerstitial area were measured using immunohistological staining method and computer image analysis system.Results With the aggravation of lesions,the glomeruli and peritubular capillaries densities of IgA nephropathy decreased.The glomerular and peritubular capillaries densities were negatively associated with the level of serum creatinine(R2=0.6946 and R2=0.6271,P

Objective: To analyze auditory verbal memory impairment after isolated stroke lesions in subcerebral structure. Methods: Auditory verbal memory function was examined in 25 normal elderly and 83 patients at 20th day after their admission to hospital for acute cerebrovascular disease with non-aphasiaand solitary lesions as identified by cranial CT or MRI. Results: Test findings suggested patients with stroke of internal capsule-basal ganglia, cerebellum and pons lesion have processing impairments of recent memory and subjective organization which are related to concentration and arousal levels. Conclusion: Stroke of subcortical regions such as lesions of thalamus,internal capsule-basal ganglia,cerebellum and pons may induce memory impairments with unique impaired cognitive coding modalities.
