The complex level of constructing biopharmaceutics classification system of Chinese materia medica CMMBCS) was the study of traditional Chinese compound, on the premise of insisting that the multicomponent simultaneous determination, when carrying out the study of intestinal permeability, the primary task was to define the source of the components that was absorbed through the intestinal wall, namely, which medicinal material the components belonged to in traditional Chinese compound. The technology of chemical fingerprint and in vitro everted gut sac model were used in this research to make multicomponent an intuitive source attribution which permeated the intestine in the classic formula Gegen Qinlian decoction, and to lay the foundation for the further qualitative and quantitative research of intestinal permeability.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the therapeutic effect on pain in the dressing change after perianal abscess surgery treated with warm suspending moxibustion at Changqiang (GV 1).

METHODSOne hundred and sixty patients were randomized into a moxibustion group and a far-infrared therapy group, 80 cases in each one. In the moxibustion group, the warm suspending moxibustion at Changqiang (GV 1) was applied. In the far-infrared therapy group, the infrared ray was radiated at Changqiang (GV 1). The treatment started in 10 min after dressing change in the two groups. Totally, 8 treatments were required. The time requirement being equal to or less than 2 score in the assessment face scale (AFS), the case number of pain relief in 10 min after treatment and the intention of the two therapies after everyday dressing change were observed in the patients of the two groups.

RESULTSIn the moxibustion group, the time of pain relief was shorter than that of the far-infrared therapy group [(11.5 +/- 3.9) min vs (17.8 +/- 3.8) min on the 1st day; (9.4 +/- 3.6) min vs (15.2 +/- 4.3) min on the 2nd day; (7.8 +/- 2.7) min vs (14.3 +/- 3.2) min on the 3rd day; (6.4 +/- 3.3) min vs (10.5 +/- 2.9) min on the 4th day; (5.9 +/- 2.9) min vs (11.2 +/- 1.9) min on the 5th day; (5.3 +/- 2.2) min vs (8.8 +/- 2.3) min on the 6th day; (5.4 +/- 1.8) min vs (9.2 +/- 2.1) min on the 7th day; (5.1 +/- 1.4) min vs (9.5 +/- 2.6) min on the 8th day, all P < 0.05]. The case numbers of pain relief in 10 min after treatment were 74 cases, 75 cases, 77 cases and 78 cases from the 1st to the 4th day separately in the moxibustion group, which were much more than 63 cases, 65 cases, 68 cases and 69 cases in the far-infrared therapy group (all P < 0.05). The treatment intention scores in the moxibustion group were better than those in the far-infrared therapy group (all P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONThe warm suspending moxibustion at Changqiang (GV 1) relieves pain rapidly in the dressing change of much more patients after perianal abscess surgery in much shorter time as compared with the far-infrared therapy. Moreover, the patients have more expectation to be treated with moxibustion therapy.

The inhibitory effects of Endostar in combination with radiotherapy in BALB/c nude mice model of human CNE2 nasopharyngeal carcinoma and the mechanism were investigated. In nude mice model of CNE2 nasopharyngeal carcinoma, the inhibitory rate and the sensitizing enhancement ratio (E/O) were calculated according to the tumor volumes in different groups. The expression of microvascular density (MVD) in tumor tissues was examined by using immunohistochemistry staining. The transcription of VEGF gene was detected by using RT-PCR. The inhibitory rate in Endostar+ radiotherapy group was higher than in other groups. In Endostar+radiotherapy group, the tumor volume was significantly decreased and the E/O ratio was 2.335, suggesting that Endostar could be a radiosensitizer. The expression of MVD of tumor tissues in Endostar+radiotherapy group was reduced significantly. The expression of the MVD in treatment groups was significantly different from that in control group (P<0.05). Compared to other groups, VEGF mRNA expression in Endostar+radiotherapy group was decreased remarkably. Endostar in combination with radiotherapy significantly inhibited the growth of CNE2 tumor. The combination therapy decreased the expression of VEGF, and inhibited tumor angiogenesis and proliferation. When combined with radiotherapy, Endostar acted as a radiosensitizer.

Objective To evaluate the effect of pulmonary function test on infants with obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS). Methods Forty-eight patients were divided into two groups based on physical examination. Pulmonary function were measured in 48 patients. Age-matched healthy infants were enrolled as controls. Four salts of ticagrelor, ticagrelor-3,5-dinitrobenzoic acid, ticagrelor-pyrazinamide, ticagrelor-D-proline and ticagrelor-L-proline were prepared by solvent suspension and liquid-assisted grinding to improve the solubility of ticagrelor. The compounds were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and the intermolecular salt-bonding forces were analyzed. The equilibrium solubility of salts and pure drug in hydrochloride buffer pH 1.2 and phosphate buffer pH 6.8 were measured by high-performance liquid chromatography. Ticagrelor was salted with 3,5-dinitrobenzoic acid, pyrazinamide, D-proline, L-proline all in a stoichiometric ratio of 1∶1; with the exception of ticagrelor-D-proline, the solubility of the other three salts provided significantly improved solubility in hydrochloride buffer pH 1.2, and the equilibrium solubility of ticagrelor-3,5-dinitrobenzoic acid was increased by approximately 1.7 folds as compared to pure drug. Salt-forming technology is convenient and can improve the solubility of ticagrelor.

Objective To investigate the in vitro effects of levofloxacin combined with fosfomycin upon 30 strains of clinical isolates of Staphylo-coccus aureus (15 strains methicillin resistant and 15 strains methicillin sensitive Staphylococcus aureus ) . Methods A checkerboard method that adhered to the recommendations of the National Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standards was applied to assess the synergism effect between levofloxacin and fosfomycin. The FIC index was calculated according to the results. Results The MIC_(50) was reduced significantly for the combination of levofloxacin plus fosfomycin against Staphylococcus aureus. The FIC indexes of methicillin sensitive Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA ) less than 0. 5, from 0. 5 to 1, from 1 to 2, more than 2 were 36. 4% ,63. 6% ,0,0 respectively. The FIC indexes of methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus ( MRSA) less than 0. 5 ,from 0. 5 to 1 ,from 1 to 2,more than 2 were 81. 8% , 18. 2% ,0,0, respectively. Conclusion In vitro the combination of subinhibitory concentration of levofloxacin and fosfomycin presented synergistic and additive effect There were no antagonism.

Leptin, the product of obese gene, is a secreting protein that exerts multiple biological functions by binding to its receptor. Leptin regulates nutrient intake and metabolism, and is secreted from adipocytes, which occupy most of the bone marrow cavity and constitute the microenvironment. Leptin not only plays an important role in the control of the proliferation and differentiation of normal primitive hematopoietic cells, but it also stimulates the growth and viability of leukemic cells. Leukemic cells of some patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), acute lymphoblastic leukemia, and chronic myeloid leukemia also express the leptin receptor. Furthermore, leptin also stimulates leukemic cell growth in vivo by promoting angiogenesis. These findings suggest the possibility that leptin and its receptor play roles in the pathophysiology of leukemia, and blockage of leptin binding to its receptor might have potential therapeutic benefits in the treatment of certain leukemias. This review discusses the biological characteristics of leptin and its receptor, the relation of leptin and its receptor with normal hematopoiesis, the relation of leptin and its receptor with AML and so on.
