OBJECTIVETo observe effects of mild moxibustion and lovastatin on immunologic function in rabbits with chronic hyperlipidaemia and atherosclerosis (AS) to initially explain regulating rules of mild moxibustion on immunologic function.
METHODSAmong thirty-two Japanese male big-ear rabbits, 8 rabbits were randomly selec ted as a blank group, the rest 24 rabbits were fed with method of endothelial injury and high-fat diet to establish AS model. The blank group was raised with normal diet and free water. After ten weeks of model establishment, the rest 24 rabbits were randomly divided into a model group, a moxibustion group and a medicine group, eight rabbits in each one. Moxibustion was applied at "Shenque" (CV 8) and "Zusanli" (ST 36) for 10 min per acupoint per day in the moxibustion group, while intragastric administration of 3.6 mg/kg lovastatin capsule was applied in the medicine group. After treatment, serum was acquired. Spectrophotometry method was adapted to measure cholesterol (TC) and high-density lipoprotein (HDL-C) and evaluated atherosclerosis index (AI), while enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method was used to measure interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma) and interleukin-4 (IL-4).
RESULTS(1) The serum TC and HDL-C in the model group were significantly higher than those in the blank group, moxibustion group and medicine group (all P < 0.01). The mean value of AI was 1.683 +/- 0.486 in the moxibustion group, which was obviously lower than 20.301 +/- 4.022 in the model group (P < 0.01). (2) The ratio of Th1/Th2 was 0.569 +/- 0.143 in the moxibustion group and 0.445 +/- 0.079 in the medicine group, which were significantly lower than 0.917 +/- 0.255 in the model group (both P < 0.01), but there was no statistically significant difference between the moxibustion group and the medicine group (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSIONThe moxibustion for AS could reduce atherosclerosis index, influence drift and bias of helper T cell and regulate balance between humoral immunity and cellular immunity. As a result, status of relative balance of immunity is acquired, which could slow down the development of atherosclerosis and process of thrombus burst.

Objective To investigate the causes of hypothermia in severe trauma patients as well as the effects of warming nursing. Methods Toally 100 severe trauma patients with hypothermia were engaged in the study during January to December 2014.Their temperature was monitored and recorded, the causes analyzed so that the warming nursing measures were done to them. Results Among the 100 patients,59 contracted hypothermia, with the rate of 59.0% before operation,28 contracted hypothermia during operation, with the incidence rate of 28.0%.The causes of hypothermia included injury, anaesthesia, exposure and fluid resuscitation. The nursing measures included pre-treatment before anaesthesia, avoidance of more exposure and intraoperative warming. Conclusions For the patients with severe trauma, the hypothermia during the operation can be caused by injury, anaesthesia, exposure and fluid resuscitation. The warming nursing can reduce the incidence of hypothermia so as to increase their survival rate.

Cancer Research and Clinic 2011;23(5):318-320
Objective To assess the diagnostic value of bone scanning and bone alkaline phosphatase (B-ALP) detection in diagnosis of osseous metastases in lung cancer. Methods 58 patients with lung cancer were examined by bone scanning and serum alkaline phosphates(ALP) and B-ALP detection. The results were analyzed. Results Among the 58 patients, bone scanning found osseous metastases in 33 patients, the incidence was 56.90 %. Among the 58 patients, the incidence of bone metastasis of adenocarcinoma was 70.97 % (22/33) and squamous carcinoma was 42.86 % (9/21) (x2 =4.109, P =0.0427). The incidence of bone metastases increased in B-ALP ≥150 U/L. B-ALP was significantly correlated with the number of metastatic loci in bone. The sensitivity of bone scanning is the highest (93.94 %), but specificity the lowest (92.00 %).The sensitivity combining bone scanning and B-ALP is the lowest (57.58 %), but the specificity the highest (100.00 %). Conclusion Whole-body bone scanning has high sensitivity in early detection of bone metastases. For diagnosis of osseous metastases in patients with lung cancer, bone scanning is the primary choice. Combining the bone scanning with B-ALP can increase specificity. B-ALP has certain using value to confirm bone metastasis and decide the disease extent.

Objective To observe the effect of robot-assisted upper limb training on the recovery of upper limb motor function after stroke. Methods One hundred patients within one month of suffering a stroke were randomly divided into a control group (50 cases) and a therapy group (50 cases). Both groups were given conventional drug therapy and rehabilitation training, while the therapy group also received robot-assisted training once a day,5 days per week for 12 weeks. The Fugl-Meyer assessment for the upper extremities (FMA-UE),the modified Ashworth scale (MAS) and the modified Barthel index (MBI) were used to evaluate the subjects before the experiment and after 4,8 and 12 weeks of treatment. Results During the treatment, the average FMA-UE scores and the average MBI of both groups increased gradually. The treatment group's averages were significantly better than those of the control group at each time point, except that there was no significant difference in elbow and wrist MAS scores. Conclusion Upper limb robots can be used with acute stroke patients in a clinical setting, and they may be beneficial for improving upper limb function and ability in the activities of daily living.

China Biotechnology 2006;0(02):-
The solid-phase method to synthesis HCV polypetides was used. The connecting rate and the polypeptides' productivity and purity were compared when Wang resin and 2-chlorotrity choloride resin acting as vectors.By the identification of mass spectrum, the products' molecular weight was analysed.By ninhydrin method we compared to the connecting rate between two resins and amino acid.By RP-HPLC we carried out the analysis and purity of hetero peptides. The result showed the first amino acid's connecting rate along with the purity and productivity which we need when 2-chlorotrityl choloride resin acted as vector was notably higher than those when Wang resin acted as vector. So 2-chlorotrityl choloride as vector is used to synthesize HCV polypeptides, which adapts to the demand of big scale's industrialization production.
