Objective To evaluate therapeutic ERCP in the treatment and preventing the recurrence of acute biliary pancreatitis(ABP).Methods One hundred and seventeen patients of ABP were randomly divided into two groups,ERCP treatment group(n=49)and non-ERCP control group(n=68).Changes of clinical symptoms and laboratory indexes were recorded accordingly.Follow-up study was for all the patients. Results Of the 117 with ABP,99 cases were mild(MABP)and 18 ones were severe(SABP).The days of relief of abdominal pains, normalization of hepatic function indexes and hospitalization were significantly shorter in ERCP treatment group than that in control group. The complications related to endoscopic therapy were not found. All patients had got followed-up visits for average 20(range 5-37)months(94.0%).The re- currence rate in the ERCP group 0(0/46)were significantly lower than that in the control group 46.8%(29/ 62)(P

Mothods We selected 324 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes, 301 cases of patients with essential hypertension, 301 case of normal physical examination population. Polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) analysis technology was used to detect MT4 G-201A polymorphism. Results (1) The genotype GG, GA and AA frequency of MT4 G-201A in 324 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes,301 cases of patients with essential hypertension, 301 case of normal physical examination population were 39.5%, 46.6%, 13.9%;42.2%, 48.5%, 9.3%;and 42.5%, 51.5%, 6.0%, respectively. The genotypes in all the distribution were in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (P>0.05) . (2) MT4 G-201A polymorphism:Three groups of genotype and allele frequency distribution (G and A) had differences (P<0.05) ; there was no difference between essential hypertension group and normal group (P>0.05);there was a difference between type 2 diabetes group and the normal group (P<0.05);there was no significant difference in genotype and allele frequency distribution (P>0.05) . (3) MT4 G-201A polymorphism in Men:Three groups of genotype and allele frequency distribution had differences (P<0.05) . In essential hypertension and type 2 diabetes group, there was no significant difference in genotype and allele frequency distribution (P>0.05) .MT4 G-201A polymorphism between women:Three groups of genotype and allele frequency distribution had differences (P<0.05), there was a difference between type 2 diabetes and normal group genotypes (P<0.05) . Conclusions (1) There is correlation of MT gene G-210A polymorphism and type 2 diabetes, no association with essential hypertension. (2) There is a difference of MT gene G-210A polymorphism in type 2 diabetes in women, no difference in men.

OBJECTIVETo compare the effect and impact of holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) and 120-W thulium: YAG vapoenucleation of the prostate (ThuVEP) on erectile function in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
METHODSWe retrospectively analyzed 93 cases of symptomatic BPH treated by HoLEP or 120 W ThuVEP. We made comparisons between the two groups of patients in the baseline and postoperative clinical and surgical indexes as well as their IPSS, quality of life (QOL), maximum flow rate (Qmax), postvoid residual urine volume (PVR), and IIEF-EF scores before surgery and during the 12-month follow-up.
RESULTSThuVEP, in comparison with HoLEP, achieved a significantly shorter operation time ([57.6 +/- 12. 8] vs. [70.4 +/- 21.8] min, P = 0.001) and a higher laser efficiency ([0.71 +/- 0.18] vs. [0.62 +/- 0.19] g/min, P = 0. 021). At 1, 6, or 12 months of follow-up, no significant differences were observed in IPSS, OOL, Omax, and PVR between the two groups (P > 0.05). Both the HoLEP and ThuVEP groups showed low incidences of complications and remarkably improved IIEF-EF scores at 12 months postoperatively, but with no significant differences (both P > 0.05). However, in those with relatively normal erectile functions before operation, the mean IIEF-EF score was reduced from 22.8 +/- 2.2 preoperatively to 21.0 +/- 2.7 after HoLEP, (P = 0.036).
CONCLUSIONBoth HoLEP and 120W ThuVEP are effective and safe in the treatment of BPH. Compared with HoLEP, 120 W ThuVEP has even a higher laser efficiency. However, neither can significantly improve erectile function, and HoLEP may have a short-term negative impact on the relatively normal erectile function of the patient.

7.Improvements of lentiviral vector and its application in gene therapy of hematological diseases.
Journal of Experimental Hematology 2003;11(2):208-212
As lentiviral vector holds the characteristics of higher transfection to non-dividing cells, larger capacity of transfer gene fragments, long-term expression of therapeutic gene and lower rate of immunological response, therefore it becomes potential viral vector in gene therapy. Improvements of lentiviral vector, human immunodeficiency virus type-I as example, and its application in gene transfer for gene therapy of hematological diseases are emphasized in this review.

Small cell lung cancer is the most common primary neuroendocrine malignancy of the lung and is characterized by high malignant degree, rapid doubling time, easy metastasis in early stage and poor prognosis.Accurate staging of small cell lung cancer can formulate personalized therapeutic plans and improve the prognosis of patients.PET/CT can obtain metabolism and anatomical images of the whole body in one scan and improve the diagnostic accuracy and integrity.PET/CT has been widely applied to clinical practice now.PET/CT will play a more and more important role in diagnosis, staging, treatment and prognosis assessment of patients with small cell lung cancer. The value of PET/CT in staging and treatment of small cell lung cancer was reviewed in this article.

Objective To evaluate the feasibility and efficacy of twin grasper combined with endoloops on closing acute stomach perforation. Methods Two experimental porcines of stomach perforation underwent endoscopic closure by twin grasper combined with endoloops.Survival conditions and closure of perforating were observed. Results Mild infection and abdominal adhesions were observed in one week after operation. The nylon rope fell off and an ulcer-like lesion was presented in the closed position. The methylene blue leak test was negative.Histologic examination revealed chronic inflammatory cells infiltration, granulation, fibroplasias, and regenerative mucous membrane crawling toward the center of perforation. Conclusion The technique of twin grasper combined with nylon ropes in closing the acute stomach perforation is feasible and effective.

Journal of Forensic Medicine 2015;31(1):41-43
OBJECTIVE:
To establish the solid phase extraction (SPE) with GC/MS technology for fish poisoning cases to determine five pesticides in fishpond.
METHODS:
By three solid phase extraction column including Oasis HLB cartridge, Bond Elut C18 and SampliQ C18, the recovery rate was compared to extract and purify five pesticides in fishpond. The effects of different kinds and dosages of eluents on extract rate were also reviewed.
RESULTS
Using Bond Elut C18 as solid phase extraction column and 3 mL benzene as eluent, the linear range of mass concentration of five pesticides in fishpond was 1-50 μg/mL, and the correlation coefficient was 0.996 2-0.999 6. The limit of detection was 3.4-26 μg/L and the recovery was 61.49%-102.48%. The relative standard deviations was less than or equal to 3.01%. CONCLU-SION: With high sensitivity, good accuracy and precision, SPE-GC/MS has simple and quick operation and less solvent. It can be applied to determination of five pesticides in fishpond.
