Objective To study the effect of sodium hyaluronate(SH) on cornea preservation to provide a basis for eyes banks cornea preservation. Objective To establish a HPLC method for the determination of chlorogenic acid, baicaliin, forsythin and wogonin in Shuanghuanglian oral liquid. Methods The column was VP-ODS C18 (250 mm?4.6 mm, 5 ?m). The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.2% phosphoric acid with gradient elution. The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min and the detection wavelength was at 278 nm. Results The calibration curves were linear within the range of 0.44～6.60 ?g (r=0.999 1) for chlorogenic acid, 0.52～6.18 ?g (r=0.999 1) for baicaliin, 0.20～2.04 ?g (r =0.999 3) for forsythin (r =0.999 3) and 0.13～1.76 ?g (r =0.999 1) for wogonin, respectively. The average recovery of them were 97.0% (RSD=1.1%), 98.98% (RSD=1.1%), 103.55% (RSD = 1.1%) and 96.49% (RSD = 1.1%), respectively. Conclusion The method is simple, practicable, accurate and rapid. It can be applied to content determination of chlorogenic acid, baicaliin, forsythin and wogonin in Shuanghuanglian oral liquid.

OBJECTIVE:To develop an HPLC method for the determination of the content of curcumine in Rujiexiao tablets.METHODS:The separation of sample was performed on VP-ODS C18 column (250 mm?4.6 mm,5 ?m).The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.2% phosphoric acid(61∶39) with a flow rate of 1.0 mL?min-1.The detection wavelength was set at 428 nm. RESULTS:The calibration curve of curcumine was linear within the range of 0.036～0.216 ?g (r=0.999 8) with an average recovery of 98.93%(RSD=0.99%,n=9).CONCLUSION:This method was proved to be simple,reliable and reproducible,and applicable for the quality control of Rujiexiao tablets.

Objective To investigate the role of Twist and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)in the development of epithelial ovarian cancer and their relationship with clinical pathological features.Methods The expressions of Twist and VEGF were detected by immunohistochemical staining (SP)method in 80 cases of epithelial ovarian cancer and 10 paired cases of normal ovarian tissue.Results In the 80 cases of ovarian cancer tissues,the positive expression rate of Twist and VEGF in epithelial ovarian cancer was 85% and 86.25%,respectively,which were remarkably higher than those in normal ovarian tissues (P <0.01).The expressions of Twist and VEGF were closely associated with clinical stages,pathological grades and lymph node metastasis,but not correlated with age or pathological patterns (P >0.05).There was a significant correlation between the expressions of Twist and VEGF in epithelial ovarian cancer (r =0.646,P <0.01).Conclusion The high expressions of Twist and VEGF may play a potential role in the occurrence,development and invasion process of epithelial ovarian cancer.

Objective To assess the diagnostic value of bone scanning and bone alkaline phosphatase (B-ALP) detection in diagnosis of osseous metastases in lung cancer. Methods 58 patients with lung cancer were examined by bone scanning and serum alkaline phosphates(ALP) and B-ALP detection. The results were analyzed. Results Among the 58 patients, bone scanning found osseous metastases in 33 patients, the incidence was 56.90 %. Among the 58 patients, the incidence of bone metastasis of adenocarcinoma was 70.97 % (22/33) and squamous carcinoma was 42.86 % (9/21) (x2 =4.109, P =0.0427). The incidence of bone metastases increased in B-ALP ≥150 U/L. B-ALP was significantly correlated with the number of metastatic loci in bone. The sensitivity of bone scanning is the highest (93.94 %), but specificity the lowest (92.00 %).The sensitivity combining bone scanning and B-ALP is the lowest (57.58 %), but the specificity the highest (100.00 %). Conclusion Whole-body bone scanning has high sensitivity in early detection of bone metastases. For diagnosis of osseous metastases in patients with lung cancer, bone scanning is the primary choice. Combining the bone scanning with B-ALP can increase specificity. B-ALP has certain using value to confirm bone metastasis and decide the disease extent.

Objective Evaluation of left ventricular ( LV) function has great clinical significance in patients with early chro-nic kidney disease (CKD).The study was to evaluate whether two-dimensional speckle tracking imaging (2D-STI) technique can offer additional information of cardiac dysfunction in early CKD patients . Methods Conventional echocardiography and 2D-STI echocar-diography were performed in CKD group of 20 patients at stage Ⅱ-Ⅲ and control group of 20 healthy volunteers .LV structure and function were evaluated by conventional echocardiography .Multidirectional strain , strain rate and LV twist parameters were analyzed by 2D-STI technique. Results There was no statistical difference in conventional echocardiographic parameters such as left atrial diam -eter, end-diastolic LV diameter and ejection fraction between CKD group and control group .By applying 2D-STI technique, CKD group had significantly decreased value of global longitudinal strain (-19.8 ±2.4)%and strain rate(-1.1 ±0.3)S-1 in comparison to control group(-22.6 ±2.1)%、( -1.8 ±0.2)S-1, along with significant increase in the values of maximum LV rotation (11.6 ± 4.4)°and LV twist(19.6 ±3.8)°in comparison to control group(8.2 ±3.7)°、(13.5 ±3.6)°(P<0.05).There was no differences in both global circumferential and radial deformation parameters as well as maximum rotation value of LV assist device between two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion 2D-STI can detect subclinical LV dysfunction sensitively in early CKD patients .

Objective: To find out the attitudes of university students and postgraduates to donating corneas after their death in Chongqing. Method: In order to find out the attitudes to the donation of corneas and remains after their death, the understanding degree of the knowledge on donation and the actual participation, cue formulated 10 questions including 3-4 selective answers each one to have a questionnaire investigation among university students and postgraduates of three universities in Chongqing. Result: In 311 questionnaires, 288 of them are valid. 53.82 % of students investigated are willing to donate their corneas and 77.08% of them support the donation, but the majority don't want to go through the formalities of donation and don't know how to deal with this; nearly 2/3 of them don't know an eye bank has been set up in Chongqing; 77% of them agrees to legislate or make the local regulations as soon as possible. Conclusion: There are quite a number of volunteers in the university students, but the number of the actual participants is small. Therefore we need to strengthen the propaganda of the eye bank to impel more students to comprehend the knowledge of donation and join the volunteers.

Methods Based on the software and hardware platforms of No.1 Military Medical Project, it was developed under Powerbuilder 9.0 without more tables and database expenses. Result Paperless prescription was realized. Conclusion The clinician's workload is reduced. Inaccurate patient expenses and drugs data are stopped.

Objective To establish the early warning model based on the control chart method for hand,foot and mouth disease (HFMD) in Wuchang District and to determine the optimum alarming threshold to provide the data support for HFMD monitoring work.Methods The data of HFMD in Wuchang District during 2009-2014 were collected from the National Infectious Diseases Notification System for constructing the data base.The mobile percentile method was adopted to establish the early alarming model,which was evaluated by the screening test.The sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value and negative predictive value were calculated.Then the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was drawn and the optimum alarming threshold was found out.Results The early alarming threshold of HFMD in Wuchang District was P90,its sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value and negative predictive value were 75.00％,93.88％,50.00％ and 97.87％,respectively.Conclusion Determining the early warning threshold should be optimized according to onset characteristics combining with the local epidemic situation,which pays attention to regional specificity and increases the monitoring ability of infectious diseases.
