1.Research progress on the topical use of triamcinolone in the treatment of oral mucosal diseases
Journal of Practical Stomatology 2015;(2):278-281
A total of 21 papers about topical use of triamcinolone in the treatment of oral diseases were retrieved.1 7 of the 21 papers were about the treatment of oral lichen planus,3 were about recurrent aphthous ulcer and 1 was about Behcet's Syndrome.Topical use of triamcin-olone,either used alone or combined with other drugs, was effective in the treatment of oral lichen planus, recurrent aphthous ulcer and Beh-cet's Syndrome. No adverse drug reaction happened when triamcinolone was used in the patients after a short time application, while it hap-pened in the patients after prolonged-use.It may be also effective in the treatment of other allergy or immune dysfunction related oral mucosal diseases,of which more research should be carried out.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2012;18(12):1158-1159
Objective To investigate the effects of bilateral sternocleidomastoideus contraction on neck flexion and extension. Methods The electromyograms (EMG) signals of left sternocleidomastoideus of 24 healthy persons were recorded respectively when neck relaxation and flexion in the supine position, and neck relaxation and extension in the prone position. The biomechanical measurement and analysis were done using anatomical specimens and models. Results The sternocleidomastoideus registered electrical resting potential when neck relaxation in the supine position, and when neck relaxation and extension in the prone position; the motor unit action potential of sternocleidomastoideus raised the type of mixed phase when neck flexion in the supine position. Conclusion The contractions of bilateral sternocleidomastoideus can lead to the head and neck flexion while neck joints are not fixed, and the contractions of bilateral sternocleidomastoideus can lead to the head extension under the state of fixing neck joints below atlanto-occipital.

Chinese Journal of Dermatology 2017;50(9):654-657
Objective To investigate characteristic skin lesions and typical histopathological changes of adult-onset Still's disease(AOSD) for its early diagnosis and treatment. Methods Clinical data were collected from 8 patients with AOSD,and analyzed retrospectively. Results All the patients had transient rashes and persistent papules/plaques during the course of disease.Of the 8 patients,1 had urticaria-like rashes,3 had dermatomyositis-like rashes, and 1 had prurigo pigmentosa-like rashes.Biopsies were carried out at the sites where transient rashes or persistent papules/plaques occurred.Histopathological findings showed necrotic keratinocytes in the upper prickle cell layer, and perivascular infiltration of neutrophils and lymphocytes in the upper dermis. Conclusion The skin lesions and histopathological changes of AOSD are characteristic, which can provide clues to the early diagnosis of AOSD.

Objective To explore the expression of caspase-3 in skeletal muscle of the mice in the state of cancer, and to elucidate the relationship between Caspase-3 and apoptosis, consumption of skeletal muscle protein in cancer cachexia. Methods 48 male BALB/c mice were randomly divided into cancer cachexia group and control group (n=24).The mice in cancer cachexia group were inoculated with mouse colon 26 adenocarcinoma cells. The body weights of the mice in two groups were detected daily.Eight mice in each group were executed to test the weight of left gastrocnemius, fiber crosscut area, the expression levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), interleukin-6 (IL-6),Caspase-3 proteins and the apoptotic rate of gastrocnemius cells on day 8,14,and 20,respectively. Results The mice in cancer cachexia group appeared cachectic symptoms on day 14,the non-tumor body weight was decreased more than 20% of that in control group (P<0.05).Compared with control group at the same time, the mouse body weight,non-tumor body weight, the weight of left gastrocnemius and the fiber crosscut area of the mice in cancer cachexia group were obviously decreased with the prolongation of inoculation time (P<0.05 ), whereas the expression levels of TNF-α,IL-6,Caspase-3 proteins and the apoptotic rate of muscle cells were obviously increased after tumor inoculation (P<0.05).The level of Caspase-3 protein was negatively correlated with the weight of gastrocnemius and fiber crosscut area (r=-0.716,P<0.05;r=-0.694,P<0.05),and the level of Caspase-3 was positively correlated with the levels of TNF-αand IL-6 (r=0.742,P<0.05;r=0.675,P<0.05).Conclusion Caspase-3 may be a key factor in the protein comsumption of skeletal muscle in cancer cachexia.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2012;11(2):173-175
Physiology course has become an important teaching part of non-medical professions in medical colleges, but there are no normative teaching textbooks and the corresponding teaching syllabus for these non-medical professions, which causes teaching contents chaos and affects the teaching effect.According to their attributes and characteristics, the research group explores continuously the physiology teaching contents suitable for non-medical professions, pays attention to contents settings which are common-sense,practical,systematic and flexible,in order to promote physiology teaching development in non-medical professions.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2006;0(11):-
The centres of functional experiment in whole medical colleges accept many new teachers every year, and it is a problem how to improve the new teachers' teaching quality as soon as possible. We have gradually summarized an effective model of training the new teachers in functional science experiment based on the long-term effort.
