Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2004;10(6):360-361
ObjectiveTo observe effects of modulated medium frequency low frequency current hydroelectric bath therapy on sequela of ankle fracture.Methods32 sequela patients of ankle fracture were treated with ZM-C type intellectual faculties intermediate frequency therapeutics instrument. Modulated medium frequency square all wave, the frequency of carry wave was 4 KHz,and the frequency of modulated wave was 100 Hz. The water temperature was 40℃. 30 minutes was a time,12 times was a course. Before and after treatment, results were contrasted themselves.ResultsAfter treatment,32 patients all got satisfactory effects, the shorter of the course, the better of the effect.ConclusionThe modulated medium frequency low frequency current hydroelectric bath therapy is a simple, safe and better effect method for sequela of ankle fracture.

Objective To investigate the effects of injecting allogeneic mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) on the cellular immunity in rat in vivo. Methods Bone marrow-derived MSCs were isolated from Wistar rats. The purity of MSCs was identified by morphological examination with microphotography, and the phenotypes were identified with flow cytometry.Twenty SD rats were randomly divided into 4 groups.Different concentrations of MSCs(5?106/ml for group A,5?105/ml for group B,and 5?104/ml for group C,respectively) and PBS(for group D) were given to allogeneic SD rats via intravenous infusions. The suppressive effect of MSCs on lymphocytes proliferation in recipient rat was analyzed using mixed lymphocyte cultures(MLR) 10 days after cultivation. At the same time, proportions of CD4+,CD8+ and CD4+CD25+/CD4+ T-lymphocytes in peripheral blood and spleen were analyzed with flow cytometry. Results Proliferation rate of splenic lymphocytes in group A(5?106/ml MSCs,8.58%?0.27%) was markedly lowered compared with that in group D(PBS,24.40%?5.21%,P

AIM:To analyze the effect 17?-estradiol on activated macrophages and possibility of being a target of screening drugs for endometriosis. METHODS: Using scanning electron microscope, the surface of macrophages was observed. Nitric oxide (NO) in supernatant was determined by Griess's reagent. TNF-? was measured by MTT via L929 cells. Using Fluo-3/AM, i was measured by laser scanning confocal microscopy (LSCM). RESULTS: (1) Increased size, extension of more microvilli, expression of retraction fibers and elaboration of membrane ruffles were detected in 17?-estradiol treated macrophages. (2) 17?-estradiol induced NO release from peritoneal macrophages. (3)The more TNF-? was made by macrophages under the induction of 17?-estradiol. (4)Intracellular Ca 2+ elevated 39.8% in peritoneal macrophages after 17?-estradiol (100 nmol/L) treatment. CONCLUSIONS: Macrophages were activated by 17?-estradiol at a certain concentration. Activated macrophages by 17?-estradiol may participate in endometriosis and may be a target of screening drugs for endometriosis.

Objective To explore the value of dexamethasone(DEX) for neuronal cell injury and death by observing the effect of DEX on excitatory amino acid(EAA) and monoamine neurotransmitter in cerebral tissue of neonatal rat with hypoxia-ischemia.Methods Hypoxic-ischemic neonatal rat models were established, the levels of EAA and monoamine neurotransmitter in cerebral tissue were analyzed by using capillary electrophoresis and fluorospectrophotometry method. The rats were divided into 4 groups: small dose DEX group pre-treated with DEX(0.5 mg/kg) prior to hypoxia-ischemia,large dose DEX group pre-treated with DEX(10 mg/kg) prior to hypoxia-ischemia,HIE group and shamful operation group. Results The levels of EAA and monoamine neurotransmitter contents in HIE group were significantly higher than those in shamful operation group(P0.05).EAA contents of large dose DEX group greatly decreased compared with HIE group (P

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(09):-
Systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)is a autoimmune disease which lead to multisystem damage, and it is important to make a early diagnosis. We compared the feature, sensibility and specificity of the following 3 diagnostic criteria:the diagnostic criteria of American Rheumatism Association in 1982 and 1997,the diagnostic criteria of Chinese Rheumatism Association in 1982(Beijing Criteria)and the diagnostic criteria of Shanghai Rheumatism Association in 1997(Shanghai Criteria),which can promot the clinicial diagnosis.

Objective To investigate the effects of astragalus polysaccharides(APS)on the metabolism of collagen in hamsters with diabetes mellitus(DM) and explore the possible mechanism of APS on diabetic cardiomyopathy. Methods The levels of insulin,C-peptide,myocardial enzymes, glycosylated serum protein(GSP),plasma and myocardial angiotensin(AngⅡ) were tested in APS group(n=15) and DM control group(n=15).Immunohistochemistry was used to measure the expression levels of typeⅠand typeⅢ collagen, activities of matrix metalloproteinases(MMPs) were examined by using zymography, and TNF-? and TGF-? mRNA were detected by RT-PCR. Results Compared with DM control group, levels of GSP,myocardial enzymes and myocardial AngⅡ were much lower in APS group(P0.05).The level of expression of collagen Ⅰ,the ratio of collagen Ⅰ/collagen Ⅲ,and the activity of pro-MMP-2 and MMP-2 in APS group were significantly lower than those in the DM group(P

Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(08):-
Objective To identify the key factors triggering medical disputes induced by differences in cognition between doctors and patients in order to control the occurrence and development of medical disputes. Methods From 2002 to 2006,the outpatients, inpatients and medical staff of 3 hospitals in Shanghai(class 3 first level general hospital,n=2;class 3 first level special hospital,n=1) were investigated, and random sampling method was employed for the research analysis. Results There were significant differences between doctors and patients in cognition of influential factors triggering medical disputes such as health law, medical services, rights and obligations. Conclusion The differences in cognition between doctors and patients are important causes for medical disputes, and effective prevention and intervention measures must be taken.
