Objective: By taking the holism and differentiation concepts of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) as the guidance, physical, mental and workplace factors were recruited in the observation of depression in employees, and were systematically classified to establish a workplace-related Liver Meridian-depression scale, for providing an evaluation index for depression in employees. Methods: NVIVO 11 software was adopted to assort ancient TCM classics. Based on the holism and differentiation concepts of TCM and well-developed scales, the item pool was determined via brain storm and screened by Delphi method after classified; a Wechat questionnaire was handed out 240 times via the online system 'Wen Juan Xing', and the results were statistically analyzed by the SPSS 17.0 version software. Results: Five dimensions consisting of 80 items were obtained after classification, and 60 items were selected by Delphi method; a total of 216 questionnaires were returned and the return rate was 90%. Of which, 215 questionnaires were valid ones, and the valid rate was 99%. By exploratory factor analysis (EFA), 44 items were obtained, and the aggregate split-half reliability coefficient was 0.922. The Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the five dimensions, i.e. Liver Meridian, relevant meridians, basic psychological activities, work cognition and emotional reactions, was respectively 0.841, 0.842, 0.914, 0.836 and 0.839, indicating a content internal consistency. The score of each item was highly correlated with the corresponding dimension, and the intercommunity was between 0.474 and 0.801. Nine factors were generated, 2 in the dimension of Liver Meridian, 3 in the dimension of relevant meridians, 2 in the dimension of basic psychological activities, 1 in the dimension of work cognition, and 1 in the dimension of emotional reactions, and the load of each factor was between 0.438 and 0.859. The reliability and validity of the scale were well examined. Conclusion: The scale can be applied to evaluate the qi activities of Liver Meridian and depression symptoms related to workplace.

The natriuretic peptide(NP) system is an endocrine system that maintains fluid and pressure homeostasis by modulating cardiac and renal function.NP levels are elevated in patients with heart failure(HF) and other cardiac diseases. They are early warning system to help to identify patients at high risk for cardiac events.Measurement of NPs may be used to aid diagnosis and prognosis.NPs also can exert important anti-proliferative,anti-fibrotic effects to prevent the remodification in the heart with myocardial infarction and advanced HF.Brain natriuretic peptide is an important biomarker in patients with HF and other cardiovascular diseases, such as pulmonary hypertension and atherosclerotic vascular disease. In addition, synthetic NPs such as nesiritide could be used to treat the patients with acutely congestive HF. These Recombinant drugs are also being investigated for myocardial and renal protection in the setting of cardiac surgery and for prevention of cardiac remodeling.

ObjectiveTo observe the effects of comprehensive therapy on central pain after incomplete spinal cord injury. Methods12 patients with central pain after incomplete spinal cord injury who accepted comprehensive therapy were assessed with McGill pain questionnaire (MPQ) and visual analogue scale (VAS) before and after treating. ResultsThe scores of pain rating index sensory quality (PRI-S), pain rating index totality (PRI-T), the number of words chosen (NWC), pain rating index affective quality (PRI-A) and present pain intensity (PPI)max in MPQ and VAS were significantly decreased(P<0.01 or P<0.05).ConclusionThe comprehensive therapy is practical effective on central pain after incomplete spinal cord injury.

Untargeted metabolomics analysis of rhubarb and stewed rhubarb samples shows that the determined samples clearly clustered in to two groups, indicating that the processing procedures caused changes in the composition and/or content of components in rhubarb. Ten components were identified by UHPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS and references, which intensity declined in rhubarb after processing. Targeted metabolomics analysis of rhubarb and stewed rhubarb samples indicated that aloe-emodin, rhein, emodin and physcion were detected with lower intensity in stewed rhubarb samples than in rhubarb samples. Metabolomics analysis of rhubarb and stewed rhubarb indicated the various components of rhubarb changed after processing.

To prepare salvianolic acid phospholipid compound. With the compound of salvianolic acids and soybean phospholipid as the index, mono-factor experiment and orthogonal design experiment were conducted to screen its technical parameters. According to the results, the optimal preparation conditions of salvianolic acid phospholipid compound were that THF were taken as the reaction solvent, the concentration time was 3 h, the reactant concentration was 5 g x L(-1), the mass ratio of salvianolic acids and phospholipid was 1: 1.5, and the reaction temperature was 40 degrees C. The oil/water partition coefficient of the prepared salvianolic acid phospholipid compound significant increased in water and buffers with different pH values. The results of phase analysis such as DSC, XRD and FTIR indicated that salvianolic acids existed in phospholipid in an amorphous state.

Objective To observe the perioperative myocardial protection of high-dose atorvastatin to acute coronary syndrome(ACS) patients during percutaneous coronary artery interventional therapy(PCI).Methods One hundred and twenty patients with ACS undergoing elective PCI were divided into group A and group B with different oral dose of atorvastatin ( 80 mg/d and 20 mg/d ) for 3 days before operation by random digits table. Troponin I (cTnI), creatine kinase isozyme MB (CK-MB), high sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), interleukin (IL)-6 levels were measured before operation, 6 hours, 12 hours after operation and total cholesterol (TC), triglyeride (TG), low desity lipeprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), high density lipeprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) levels were measured before operation and 3 days after operation. Results cTnI,CK-MB,hs-CRP and IL-6 levels in the two groups were increased significandy 6 hours and 12 hours after operation (P <0.05). Six hours after operation, cTnI and CK-MB levels in group A were significantly lower than those in group B [(0.35±0. 18 ) μg/L vs. (0.48±0. 16 ) μg/L, ( 3.78±0.45 )μg/Lvs. (4.56±0.55 )μg/L] (P < 0.05 ). Twelve hours after operation , hs-CRP and IL-6 levels in group A were significantly lower than those in group B [(4.53±0.98 ) mg/L vs. (7.03±0.88 ) mg/L, ( 30.6±11.2) ng/L vs.(43.8±12.1) ng/L] (P <0.05). TC, TG, LDL-C, HDL-C levels in the two groups did not change significantly before and after operation (P >0.05). Conclusions Myocardial protective effects of ACS patients treated with atorvastatin 80 mg/d for 3 days are better than those treated with oral atorvastatin 20 mg/d. High-dose atorvastatin can produce more beneficial effects.
