Journal of the Korean Radiological Society 1993;29(5):1057-1061
MR images of seven patients with histologically documented synovial sarcoma were reviewed to find the suggestive or pathognomonic findings of the disease. MR appearance of the tumor was inhomogeneous, multiseptated mass with various degree of internal septation and infiltrative tumor margin. The signal intensity of the mass was slightly hyperintense relative to muscle on T1-weighted image and hyperintense relative to subcutaneous fatty tissue on T2-weighted image.

Journal of the Korean Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons 1997;23(4):688-695
Single photon emission computed tomographic(SPECT) imaging, performed at oral and maxillofacial surgery department, is valuable in assessing temporomandibular dysfunction, looking for metastases in patients with malignancies, diagnosing facial asymmetry. Conventional planar scintigraphy is limited by two-dimensional representation of three-dimensional structures. The SPECT exam, by sectioning through a distribution of tracer, eliminates the obscuring effects of tracer located outside the plane of interest. In our department, we used this image for four type cases retrospectively. 1. Those patients who have facial asymmetry 2. To find metastases in patients with malignacies 3. In combination with magnetic resonance imagine, to confirm the diagnosis of internal joint derangement 4. To evaluate the viability of grafted bone. Recently, this image is able to be used in those patients whose symptoms etiology cannot be explained by other diagnostic techniques.

1.050 patients who visited orthodontic dental department from 1983 to 1994, were surveyed on the yearly tendency of orthodontic patient distribution and state by means of Angle's classification. The results were as follows : 1. There was increased visiting rate of patient per year and higher visiting rate in female than in male. 2. 8-15 age group was 61.4% in total visiting patients and over 20 age group was 18.5%, under 7 age group was 8.1%. 3. Class I malocclusion was 42.2%, class II div 1 was 22.5%, class II-2 was 3.9%, class III was 29.1% and cleft lip & palate was 2.0% in total visiting patient. 4. As showed the living distribution, Namgu and Susunggu's patients were 43.7% of the total patients. 5. There was increased tendency for the number of the patient to be received orthognathic surgery.

Korean Journal of Pathology 1989;23(4):455-460
A total of 213 fine needle aspirations from pulmonary lesions in 193 patients performed from January, 1986 to March, 1989 were analyzed. The cytologic diagnoses were unsatisfactory in 10, negative in 60, atypical in 6, suspicious in 11 and malignant in 126 cases. The cytologic types of the malignant cases were 47 squamous cell carcinomas, 40 adenocarcinomas, 10 small cell carcinomas, 6 large cell carcinomas and 10 metastatic tumors. They were verified by the histologic confirmation in 31 cases and by the clinical data in the remainder. There were 5 false-negative cases and none was false-positive, representing 96% sensitivity and 100% specificity. Primary lung cancers were accurately typed in 73% of histologically confirmed case. Cell blocks, prepared in 99 cases, were helpful in tumor typing of 11 cases.
