2.Interferon Effect of Retinoic Acid on Lung Damage of Neonatal Rats Suffered from Hyperoxia
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(14):-
Objective To observe influence of retinoic acid on the lung damage and expression of Connexin26(Cx26) of neonatal rats suffered from hyperoxia. Methods Twenty-four 3-day SD rats were randomly divided into three groups:retinoic acid+ hyperoxia, hyperoxia, air group;rats in the group of hyperoxia were suffered 7 days hyperoxia (the level of oxygen was above 950 mL/L),air group was instead of air.All rats were weighed, value of radical alveolar counts(RAC) and microstructure of the lungs were observed by HE staining under light and electron microscope respectively;and the expression of Cx26 in the lungs was determined by immunohistochemistry. Results Compared with air group, weight, value of RAC were both decreased obviously in hyperoxia, retinoic acid+hyperoxia groups[(13.53?1.27),(13.38?1.29),(17.37?0.89)g,F=30.19 P=0;11.15?1.33,12.49?1.47,13.94?0.98,F=9.59 P=0),while the expression of Cx26 increased [(13.68?1.28)%,(17.82?1.72)%,(19.69?1.77)%,F=29.36 P=0].Conclusion Retinoic acid has a protective effection from damaged lung of neonatal rats suffered from hyperoxia, and it may be related to the alteration of expression of Cx26 protein in the lungs.
3.Risk factors for postoperative healthcare-associated infection in patients undergoing oral and maxillofacial malignant tumor surgery
Chinese Journal of Infection Control 2014;(12):730-732,738
Objective To realize the risk factors for postoperative healthcare-associated infection (HAI)in pa-tients undergoing oral and maxillofacial malignant tumor surgery,so as to take effective intervention measures and reduce the occurrence of HAI.Methods Prospective and retrospective survey were adopted to analyze the occur-rence of HAI and related risk factors for postoperative HAI in patients undergoing oral and maxillofacial malignant tumor surgery in 2013.Results Of 432 patients,58 developed 63 times of HAI,HAI rate was 13.43%,case infec-tion rate was 14.58%.The main infection sites were lower respiratory tract (57.14%)and surgical site (38.09%). 56 pathogenic strains were isolated, the major were Pseudomonas aeruginosa (46.43%),followed by Acinetobacter baumannii and Klebsiella pneumonia .Univariate analysis revealed that tracheotomy, length of hospital stay,opera-tive time, intraoperative antimicrobial use were risk factors for HAI in patients undergoing oral and maxillofacial malignant tumor surgery(all P <0.05).Conclusion The important measures for reducing HAI in patients undergo-ing oral and maxillofacial malignant tumor surgery are shortening the duration of surgery and length of hospital stay, taking active intervention, implementing hand hygiene, and using antimicrobial agents rationally.
4.Role of hepatic stem cells in hepatic regeneration
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1985;0(06):-
Hepatic stem cells transplantation might be an important treatment strategy for patients with end stage liver diseases and related research has become a focus of recent studies.Hepatic stem cells of different sources have great therapeutic potential in clinical practice, but much research still need to be done before it can be used as a routine method in clinical practice. This review discusses the characteristics of hepatic stem cells and its role in liver regeneration after liver damage.

Chinese Journal of Emergency Medicine 2008;17(9):930-934
Objective To study the expression of liver X receptor (LXR) during the progress of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) caused by wound infection, and its role in the lipid metabolism during MODS. Method The MODS models caused by wound infection were produced. One hundred Wistar rats were randomly divided into wound group (group T, n = 30) and MODS caused by wound infection group (group M, n = SO). The closed multi-fracture and extensive soft-tissue injury was produced in rats using jaw. After 12 hours, a thirty percent total body surface area Ⅲ (TBSA Ⅲ ) bum was induced in group M,and the rats were contaminated by pseudomonas aeruginosa. The levels of endotoxin ( LPS), alanine transaminase (ALT), free fatty acid ( FFA), TG, HDL, VLDL were determined before injuries and post injuries 24, 48, 96, 120 hours, and at each time point in each group, only 10 rats were determined. And at the same tune, real-time quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction technique was used to measure the gene expression of LXR. Chi-square test was used. Results The blood ALT and LPS levels in rats were increased slowly, the levels of FFA reached peak at 96 hours post injuries (P < 0.05), the level of TG increased first and then decreased to the lowest at 96 hours, HDL dropped slowly, and VLDL decreased first and then increased. The gene expression of LXR increased slightly at 24 hours and then gradually decreased in group T, and the gene expression of LXR decreased more obviously in group M, and there was significant difference compared with group T. Conclusions ALT increased slowly, and was positively correlated with IPS post injuries. This indicated that infection aggravated the liver injury. The gene expression of LXRα increased in the early stage and then decreased in the late stage, LPS and LXRα were negatively correlated, which may cause the change of LXRα. The decreased expression of LXRα during MODS may contribute to dysfunction of cholesterol transport and fatty acid synthesis.

Objective:To measure CT linearity and evaluate if it would show linear relationship between coefficient and attenuation. Methods:The Catphan phantom was used to measure CT linearity in 18 computed tomography equipments, and the results were calculated.Results:(1)The CT linearity were qualified in 14 equipment but 4.Conclusion:(1)There are many factors which affect CT linearity. The artifact will be produced if the CT linearity is unqualified.(2)CT linearity must be calibrated periodically to assure the stability of the CT linearity and to make for the accurate diagnoses.

Chinese Journal of Nursing 2009;44(8):715-716
This paper summarize the perioperative nursing of 12 newborns with thyroglossal cyst. The preoperative nursing measures focused on prone position, gastric tube feeding, close monitoring of vital signs and tracheal intubation as needed. If the TeSO2 was normal, oxygen therapy was not recommended. After the operation, continuously monitoring vital signs, respiratory care and use of sedatives as needed were carried out. As a result, all of the 12 infants recovered and discharged.
