Objective:To explore the result of application of the clinical nursing pathway on percutaneous coronary interventional patient.Methods:One hundred patients were divided into two groups randomly,each group has 50 cases.We used the clinical nursing pathway based on holistic nursing case in experimental group,and the control group used the holistic nursing care.Results:After use the method of the clinical nursing pathway in the hospital,the medical cost and the rates of the nursing errors were less than that in the comparing group while the patients were more satisfied.Conclusion:As a scientific mode,the clinical nursing pathway could improve the working efficiency,guarantee the nursing quality.

Objective To explore the experience in the treatment of postoperative reocclusion in patients of lower limb arterial occlusion.Methods From January 2007 to December 2011,clinical data were reviewed on 98 reocclusion episodes in 70 patients,who had been treated by graft bypass (30 patients),or angioplasty (15 patients) or both (25 patients).In this series,10 cases received conservative treatment and to the other 88 episodes reoperation was given,including thrombectomy alone in 15 episodes,and thrombectomy combined with microcatheter application for 13 episodes,and thrombectomy combined with angioplasty and microcatheter application for 60 episodes.Results Two patients died during follow-up period and 5 patients were lost to follow-up including 2 receiving conservative treatment.The other 63 patients were followed-up for 8 to 60 months,averaging (24 ± 5) months.The arterial patency in patients receiving reoperation treatment was 69.8％ (44 patients) and the amputation rate was 12.7％ (8 patients).Conclusions For postoperative recurrent arterial occlusion in patients of lower limb arterial occlusion,thrembectomy combined with angioplasty and microcatheter application may generate satisfactory results,

Objective To observe the effects of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) on the expression of glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) and OX-42 in hippocampus and dentate gyrus in rats.Methods The rats were treated with 1 Hz, 100 mT TMS 10 min once a day for 14 days, and then the expression of GFAP and OX-42 in hippocampus and dentate gyrus were investigated by ABC technique of immunohistochemistry.Results Compared with the control group, there were no significant difference in the expression of GFAP and OX-42 between the two groups.Conclusion rTMS using our parameters does not cause brain injury in rats.

Mucosal adjuvants play important roles in vaccine development. By now, the common used mucosal adjuvants can be divided into three categories: the bacterial derivatives, cytokines and chemokines, and antigen delivery systems. Progresses of the three kinds of adjuvants were reviewed to give a reference to novel vaccine research.

BACKGROUND: The efficacy of Cyclosporin A(CyA) in the treatment of psoriasis is well recongized, the dosage less than 5mg/kg per day(mg/kg/d) is recommended. OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the indication, dose, course and side-effects of CyA therapy for psoriasis, especially in China. METHODS: Forty patients with psoriasis were treated with doses of CyA 5mg/kg/d, compared with 20 patients treated with Tigason lmg/kg/d by Global PAST. RESULTS: 1. Of 40 patients 33 patients (82.5%)were cured clinically in 4-5weeks and all the patients(100%) had responses to the therapy. 2. The efficacy and the Global PASI reduction of CyA therapy were significantly better than that of Tigason therapy. 3. During the CyA therapy, no severe side-effects and obvious laboratory changes were found. CONCLUSION: CyA(5mg/kg/d) was satisfactory for psoriasis, especially for psoriasis pustulosa, arthropathica and erythroderma. CyA was found to be superior to Tigason. The therapy course and side-effects seemed to be related to the dosage.

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of 99Tcm-MIBI SPECT for the differential diagnosis of parotid tumors before treatment.Methods 99Tcm-MIBI SPECT imaging of the parotid region was obtained in 32 patients with parotid tumors before surgery.Early and delayed 99Tcm-MIBI imaging were performed in all patients and the diagnosis was confirmed by pathological results after surgery.The ratio of radioactivity between the tumor and opposite side of normal parotid tissue (T/N) was measured.Fisher exact probability test and t test were used for statistical analysis.Results The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of 99Tcm-MIBI SPECT imaging for the differential diagnosis of parotid tumor were 90.00％ (9/10),86.36％ (19/22) and 87.50％ (28/32),respectively.Among 22 patients who had benign tumors,19(86.36％) showed negative findings,and the other 3 ( 13.64％ ) patients showed false positive results.In 10 patients with malignant tumors,1 ( 10.00％ ) had false negative findings,and all the other 9 (90.00％)patients showed positive results.The difference between the benign and malignant groups was statistically significant (P =0.00018 ).In the early images,the T/N ratios of benign and malignant parotid tumors were 1.45 ±0.38 and 1.65 ±0.63 (t =20.4,P＜0.01),respectively; and in the delayed images,the ratios were 1.43 ± 0.56 and 1.77 ± 0.59 ( t =2.4,P ＜ 0.05 ),respectively.Conclusion 99Tcm-MIBI SPECT imaging might be useful for the differential diagnosis of parotid tumors before surgery.

Objective To investigate the expression and significance of Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)in the uvea of endotoxin in- duced uveitis.Design Experimental study.Participants 12 Wistar rats were divided into two groups at random,a group(n=6)of endo- toxin induced uveitis(EIU)and a control group(n=6).Methods Cholera vibrio was injected into hind footpad and abdominal cavity in the EIU group.In the control group,cholera vibrio was replaced by PBS.Anterior segment of the rats eyes were observed by slit lamp microscope at 4h,10h,16h,24h after injection.Immunohistochemical staining was performed using polyclonal antibodies to TLR4 on the frozen sections of the eyes and uveal wholemounts at 24 hours after LPS injection.Main Outcome Measures The inflammation of anterior segment and the number of TLR4 positive cells in uveal wholemounts.Results The inflammation began at 4h after LPS injec- tion.Cellulose exudates were observed at 16h after injection.The positive-stained protein located in cellular membrane or cytoplasm. The number of TLR4 positive cells in EIU group is evidently higher than that in the control group.TLR4 positive cells were hardly de- tected in the frozen sections of eyes.Conclusion TLR4 expression increases in the EIU,which suggests that TLR4 probably participates in the formation and development of acute anterior uveitis.(Ophthalmol CHN,2008,17:48-51)

Hepatic stem cells transplantation might be an important treatment strategy for patients with end stage liver diseases and related research has become a focus of recent studies.Hepatic stem cells of different sources have great therapeutic potential in clinical practice,but much research still need to be done before it can be used as a routine method in clinical practice. This review discusses the characteristics of hepatic stem cells and its role in liver regeneration after liver damage.
