Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(medical Science) 2010;30(1):46-49
Sepsis may result in a high mortality.Fish oil, which riches in ω-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids.has anti-inflammatory and immune regulatory functions.ω-3 fatty acids, which are special immune nutrient substrates, participate in the energy provision as well as improve organ function and regulate proinnammatory/anti-inflammatory cytokines. The ideal function of fish oil is associated with dosage, time of initiation and duration of application.
3.Quantitative study of the hemodynamic changes of portal vein in hepatocellular carcinoma with arterioportal shunts
Journal of Interventional Radiology 1992;0(01):-
Objective To measure the changes of portal venous pressure before and after APS by percutanous portal vein catheterization and to quantitatively analyse the correlation between portal pressure and portal hypertension. Methods All the 18 central arterioportal shunts (APS) patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) were treated with embolization of APS and TACE, and the pressure of portal vein was measured by percutaneous portal vein catheterization pre- and post-embolization of APS. Color dopplar sonography and endoscopy were employed to investigate before and 2 weeks after embolization in all patients. Results The pressure of portal vein decreased significantly after embolization, and the decreased rate was 5.4%-33.3% with the mean rate 20.1%. After the embolization, the width of portal vein decreased and the blood flow velocity of portal vein increased significantly, P

6. Diagnostic value of 64-slice spiral CT angiography in the diagnosis of multiple intracranial aneuysms: A report of 25 cases
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2013;38(2):147-150
Obbjective To evaluate the diagnostic value of 64-slice spiral CT angiography (CTA) in multiple intracranial aneurysms (MIA). Methods Twenty-five patients (9 males and 16 females, aged from 17 to 68 years) with suspected MIA underwent 64-slice spiral CTA with slice thi ckness of 0.625mm. The data of all patients were reconstructed with multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), 3-dimensional shade surface display (3-SSD), volume rendering (VR) and maximum intensity projection (MIP). The clinical diagnostic value was evaluated with the results of surgery or interventional embolization therapy. Results A total of 61 aneurysms were detected by 64-slice spiral CTA in 25 patients, among them 17 patients were with 2 aneurysms, 6 patients with 3 aneurysms, 1 patient with 4 aneurysms and 1 patient with 5 aneurysms. The 64-slice spiral CTA could not only clearly demonstrate MIA, but also the size, neck, axis point and parent artery of each aneurysm, and the spatial relationship between aneurysm and the adjacent vessels and bone structures. Twenty-one patients underwent microsurgery and four underwent embolization, the location, size and shape of aneurysm and its spatial relationship with adjacent structures were in accordance with the findings of 64-slice spiral CTA. Conclusion The 64-slice spiral CTA could be used as the first choice in the diagnosis of MIA for its high accuracy, and may be an important adjunct to digital subtraction angiography (DSA) in MIA treatment.
7. Relationship between Willis circle variation and the occurrence of anterior and posterior communicating artery aneurysms investigated by 64-slice CT angiography
Chinese Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2011;8(12):641-644
Objective: To investigate the relationship between the dysplasia of horizontal segment (A1 segment) of anterior cerebral artery and the formation of anterior and posterior communicating artery aneurysms. Methods: The data of 64-slice computed tomography angiography (CTA) of 216 patients were analyzed retrospectively. Of the 216 patients, CTA found 126 patients with aneurysm. They were divided into anterior communicating artery aneurysm (ACoAA) group (n = 69) and posterior communicating artery aneurysm (PCoAA) group (n = 57 ). The other patients without aneurysm revealed by CTA but with headache and dizziness (n = 90) were used as a control group. The presence or absence of aneurysm, the location, shape, size and neck width of aneurysm, the apex pointing of aneurysm as well as the relationship between the aneurysmal bodies and surrounding structures were analyzed. The prejudged results and the surgical results were compared. Whether the anterior cerebral artery A1 segment had dysplasia or not and whether it had fetal-type posterior cerebral artery or not were observed at the same time. Results: Circled digit oneA total of 126 patients with communicating artery aneurysm were revealed by 64-slice CTA, among them 69 were ACoAA and 57 were PCoAA. Taking DSA and surgery as determining standards, the sensibility and specificity detected by 64-slice CTA were 100%. Circled digit twoUnilateral hypoplasia or absence of A1 segment of anterior cerebral artery reached 81.7% in the ACoAA group, which was significantly higher than that in the PCoAA group or the control group (P < 0.05); fetal-type posterior cerebral artery in the PCoAA group reached 56.1% , which was significantly higher than that in the ACoAA group or the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: 64-slice CTA has higher sensibility and specificity for detecting cerebral aneurysms. Unilateral hypoplasia or absence of A1 segment of anterior cerebral artery and fetal-type posterior cerebral artery are closely associated with the occurrence of intracranial communicating artery aneurysms.
8.STUDY ON INDUCATION CONDITIONS FOR THE PROPAGULUM OF THE EPA AND AA-PRODUCING FUNGUS DIASPORANGIUM SP.
Microbiology 1992;0(06):-
It was investigated that the effect of various inducing mediums, times and temperatures on the number of the zoospores from Diasporangium sp.producing polyunsaturated fatty acid of Eicosapentaenoic acid(EPA) and Arachidonic acid(AA).The results showed that the zoospores were detected in various liquid mediums after 1 day,They were globose and about 23.9 ?m in diameter. And maximum number of spores was obtained 6 days after translocation of mycilium to carrot patches at 25℃.But the number of the zoospores was the most 8 days at the same condition. The highest germination rate of the fungus was obtained in the vegetative agar.

International Eye Science 2015;(1):128-130
Abstract? AlM: To observe the effect of combining partial reduction orthokeratology ( Ortho-K ) and spectacles on slowing myopic progressionin high myopic adolescent.? METHODS: Sixty - nine eyes of 36 high myopic adolescent ( aged 9 ~15 years ) with spherical equivalent refraction ≧-6. 00 diopters ( D) ( spherical component≧-5. 50D) were fitted with custom-made four-zone/five-curve Ortho-K lenses. The target of reduction was to achieve -5. 00D for both eyes. The residual refractive errors after at least one month of Ortho-K wear were corrected with single-vision spectacles for clear vision in the daytime. The unaided visual acuity ( UVA) , refractive error ( RE ) , axial length ( AL ) , and ocular health were assessed before the Ortho-K lens wear, and followed up for 2a after Ortho-K.?RESULTS: ( 1 ) Changes in UVA: The mean UVA was 0. 09±0. 05 at baseline before Ortho-K;the mean UVA was 0. 27 ± 0. 14, 0. 54 ± 0. 18, 0. 78 ± 0. 24, and 0. 81 ± 0. 19, respectively after Ortho-K wear for l night, 1wk, 1, and 3mo. The differences of UVA were significant with baseline (P<0. 05), and became stable 1mo after the treatment. (2) Changes in RE:The mean RE was -6. 82± 0. 71D at baseline before Ortho-K and -6. 86 ± 0. 77D after Ortho-K wear for 1a (P>0. 05 compared to baseline). The mean RE was-7. 11±0. 81D after Ortho-K wear for 2a, and the amount of myopia increased -0. 29 ± 0. 37D compared to baseline (P<0. 05). (3) Changes in AL: The mean AL was 26. 18 ± 0. 57mm at baseline before Ortho-K, and it was not significantly different (P>0. 05) from the AL after Ortho-K wear for 6mo (26. 19±0. 54mm) and for 1a (26. 21± 0. 47mm). The AL was 26. 37±0. 59mm after Ortho-K wear for 2a, and the mean increase was 0. 19 ± 0. 28mm compared to baseline (P<0. 05). (4) Grade 1 corneal staining was observed in some subjects at each visit. However, the staining was improved after lens cleaning, discontinuing lens wear, or applying artificial tears. No other adverse events were reported in all subjects during the 2a study.?CONCLUSlON:Combining partial reduction Ortho-K and spectacles completely slowed myopic progression in high myopic adolescent after receiving the treatment for 1a, and partially reduced myopia progression after 2a of treatment. No severe ocular complications were found throughout the treatment. The combination treatment appeared to be effective and safe, but its long-term effect needs to be further assessed.
