Journal of Interventional Radiology 2003;0(S1):-
Objective Hyperperfusion syndrome is a rare and devastating complication of carotid artery angioplasty and stenting(CAS).We report the clinical character of this complication in a patient undergoing CAS.Methods This report is a retrospective review of one case with severe extracranial carotid stenosis of carotid angioplasty and stenting performed on March,2004.We analysesed the clinical and imagining character of this hyperperfusion syndrome related to CAS. Results The patient with subtotal occlusion of the right internal carotid artery had a 10-mm lesion treated percutaneously with implantation of 2 stents (Precise 6?30mm、10?40mm) under general anesthesia. The stenosis was postdilated with a 5?20mm balloon. Postprocedural angiography showed no significant stenosis, the blood pressure varied between 230~300/100~130mmHg,the heart rate decreased to 55/min. An urgent brain CT revealed extensive hemorrhage with 80ml in the right basal ganglia. Surgical evacuation was performed urgently under general anesthesia. After operation the patient presented with vegetative status. Conclusions Intracerebral hemorrhage is related to cerebral hyperperfusion after CAS.One of risk factors for hyperperfusion syndrome is of severe ipsilateral stenosis of 90% severity or greater with collateral carotid stenosis. Peri-and postintervention TCD monitoring is mandantory, TCD can be identified patients at risk of cerebral hyperperfusion,to decrease postintervention hemorrhage.

Objective To explore the difference in the effect of isoflurane inhalation on long-term cognitive function between male and female rate. Methods Forty-two SD rats (22 female, 20 male) that exhibited normal spontaneous activity and behaved normally in passive avoidance and Morris water maze tests were used in this study. They were divided into 2 sex groups:group female (group F) and group male (group M). Each group was further divided into 2 subgroups: control subgroup (Fc, Mc groups) and isoflurane group (Fs, Ms groups). The animals were anesthetized with 3 % isoflurane in O2 for 2 h in the 2 study subgroups, while the control subgroups inhaled O2 for 2 h. The spontaneous activity test was performed at 1, 30, 60 and 90 d, while the passive avoidance task was performed at 2, 30, 60 and 90 d after isoflurane anesthesia. Morris water maze test was performed for 5 consecutive days at 3-7 d, 31-35 d, 61-65 d, and 91-95 d after isoflurane anesthesia. Results In spontaneous activity test the total distance and the speed were significantly decreased at 1 d after isoflurane anesthesia in both Fs and Ms subgroups as compared with Fc and Mc subgroups. There was no significant difference in the number of error and latency after isoflurane anesthesia compared with the control subgroups in both male and female rats in the passive avoidance task. In Morris water maze test the escape latency and swimming distance were significantly prolonged at 1 and 31 d after isoflurane anesthesia as compared with control subgroup in female rats and at 3-6d, 31-34 d and 61 d after isoflurane anesthesia as compared with control subgroup in male rats, and were significantly longer after isoflurane anesthesia in male than in female rats. Conclusion Two hour 3.0% isoflurane anesthesia can impair long-term cognitive function and the impairment is greater in male than in female rats.

Objective To investigate infection situation and knowledge of high‐risk human papilloma virus(HPV)among women working in entertainment places in Gaoqiao area ,and provide theory evidences for making health education measures related to high‐risk HPV .Methods According to the systematic random sampling method ,entertainment female in Gaoqiao area were extracted , and normal women who participated in community gynecology census were extracted as control group .Then questionnaire investiga‐tion and laboratory testing were carried out .Results The infection rate of high‐risk HPV in entertainment female was 35 .18% , while in normal woman was 15 .84% ,there was significant differences of infection rate between the two groups (P<0 .05) .There were were only 16 women(14 .81% )and 17 women(16 .83% )had heard of information about HPV in two groups respectively ,and there was no statistically significant difference(P>0 .05) .The cognitive situation of whether a person with family history of cervi‐cal cancer should be regularly attend screening among the two groups of women was different ,and had significant difference(P<0 .05) .Conclusion Women who worked in entertainment places had higher infection rate of high‐risk HPV ,both of the two groups had poor knowledge of HPV .So the propaganda and screening of HPV should be strengthen in order to raise consciousness in pre‐venting cervical cancer .

It had some advantages when microwave induced hyperthermia were used to treat inferior femora and superior shinbone tumor. The device of circulation water, which could induce hypothermia during the treatment procedure needed to be used.Large amount of normal saline at the room temperature was perfused through this device,so the temperature of surrounding normal tissues and organs was reducd and the functions of nerve, vessel and knee were protected. It is safe and convenient measure that keep the operation go on smoothly.Summarized 54 cases of superior shinbone tumor that were used this device in the operation and experienced that it provided an effectiveness support for the operation.

Chinese Journal of Hypertension 2007;0(04):-
Background Fractalkine is involved in the impairment of endothelium by mediating inflammatory cell chemotaxis.Aspirin inhibites many kinds of cytokine expression. Objective To investigate the effect of aspirin on tumor necrosis factor ?(TNF-?) stimulated fractalkine expression in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) and its mechanism. Methods HUVEC were grouped as follows:control group;TNF-?-stimu- lated;TNF-?+NS-398;TNF-?+PDTC and TNF plus various concentration of aspirin (0.02,0.2,1.5 mmol/L). The level of mRNA and protein expression of fractalkine and nuclear factor(NF)-kB p65 was determined by RT- PCR and Western blot. Results 1)Fractalkine mRNA and protein level was increased after 4 ?g/L TNF-? stim- ulation in HUVEC(both P
