Herald of Medicine 2017;36(9):982-986
Objective To investigate the protective effect of Jiejiu oral liquid on acute alcohol-induced gastric mucosal lesions in mice. Methods Sixty Knming''s mice were randomly divided into normal control group, model control group, sucralfate group(600 mg·kg-1),the dose of 25.0 g·kg-1 group, the dose of 12.5 g·kg-1 group and the dose of 6.25 g·kg-1 group of the Jiejiu oral liquid (n=10 each).Except for the normal control group, other groups were intragastrically administered with 95% ethanol to create the alcohol-induced acute gastritis model. The effect of pathological histology, injury of gastric mucosa, the mucosal NO,ET-1,TNF-α,IL-6 and PGE2 content of acute alcohol-induced gastric mucosal lesions in mouse were observed. Results The gastric mucosa in model control group appeared obvious bleeding, erosion, and flake ulcer.Compared with the model control group, the acute damage index of the Jiejiu oral liquid therapy groups were obviously reduced (P<0.05 or P<0.01).The content of ET-1,TNF-α and IL-6 in the 25.0 g·kg-1 and the 12.5 g·kg-1 dose group of the Jiejiu oral liquid significantly decreased compared with the model control group (P<0.05 or P<0.01).The content of NO in the 25.0 g·kg-1 group of the Jiejiu oral liquid increased (P<0.05).Jiejiu oral liquid had no significant effect on the content of PGE2 (P>0.05).Histopathologic examination revealed Jiejiu oral liquid can reduce the shedding of gastric mucosa and inflammatory cells infiltration. Conclusion The Chinese herbal mixture Jiejiu oral liquid has a protective effect on acute alcohol-induced gastric mucosal lesions in mice.
3.Surveillance of Adverse Events Following Immunization in Changning District of Shanghai in 2006
Chinese Journal of Vaccines and Immunization 2008;0(04):-
Objective To analyze the adverse events following immunization(AEFI) in Changning District of Shanghai in 2006,evaluate the safety of vaccines, and provide the evidence for establishing the safe monitoring system of standard vaccination. Methods The AEFI cases were collected and reported by the Vaccine Adverse Events Surveillance System(VAESS).The data were classified as nonserious, serious reaction according to the symptoms and medical records. Results In 2006,178 AEFI cases related to 12 kinds of vaccines from 126459 doses of 19 kinds of vaccines.Among the adverse events reported, amount of nonserious and serious events were 166 cases and 12 ases respectively. The most commonyl reported type of non-serious adverse events were low-grade fever and non-serious local reaction.AEFI cases caused by DTP combined vaccine was in the first rank.Supplementary immunization of DTP combined vaccine had more cases of AEFI than routing immunization. Conclusions Establishing and perfecting the standardized VAESS will improve the susceptibility and the utilization rate of data on AEFI.To reduce the AEFI,we should implement vaccination regulations, distinguish contraindications, and introduce safer vaccines.
4.Surveillance of Adverse Events Following Immunization of MMR in Changning District of Shanghai,2008
Chinese Journal of Vaccines and Immunization 2008;0(06):-
Objective To summarize the adverse events of Measles, mumps, rubella combined attenuated live vaccine (MMR) during 2008 in Changning District of Shanghai. To research the effective monitoring pattern of adverse event following immunization (AEFI),and to provide evidence for establishing the safe monitoring system. Methods Using MMR as the surveillance vaccine, the AEFI monitoring research with the active and passive methods was implemented. Results 95 reports were collected. Most of the adverse events were common. The imformation from the active method was more than the imformation from the passive method. It was established the communication mechanism of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) between the different levels. Conclusion Active and passive methods will improve the susceptibility and the utilization rate of data reporting.
5.Application of Simple Flexible Ankle-Foot Orthosis
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2009;15(10):965-967
Objective To explore the effect of the simple flexible ankle-foot orthosis on the hemiplegic patient's gait. Methods There are 22 hemiplegic patients (observation group) and 21 healthy individuals (control group) involved in the study. The parameters of gait are collected and analyzed. Results With the simple AFO, the walking time and knee flexion degree of the patients at Brunnstrom stage Ⅳ and stageⅤ are close to that of healthy individuals. When the patients at Brunnstrom stage Ⅲ walk with plastic AFO and then with the simple flexible AFO, there is a obvious difference in knee flexion degree at the initial stage of standing between the two situations. Conclusion The simple flexible AFO can improve the walking ability of hemiplegic patient with light tip foot.
6.Analysis of a questionnaire survey of physiotherapists in China and Japan
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2003;9(10):583-584
ObjectiveTo investigate physiotherapists both in China and Japan by the questionnaire, and find problems appeared by Chinese physiotherpists.MethodsForty-nine therapists in China Rehabilitation Research Center and forty-three qualified physiotherapists in Japan participated in this study. Contents of the questionnaire include their view on the physical therapy, working condition, academic activity and etc. Received questionnaires were analyzed.ResultsResults from the statistics analysis showed that there were significant differences in education, the role in clinical work, kinds of diseases to be treated, academic activity and etc between Chinese and Japanese physiotherpists. Conclusion Main problems in China according to results of the questionnaire are lack of appropriate understanding of rehabilitation concept, lack of recognized teachers and specialized education organization, lack of rehabilitation facilities and equipment.
8.Practicability of Simple-Flexible-Orthosis
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2009;15(4):382-383
Objective To test the practicability of hand-made type of simple-flexible-orthosis.Methods The correction force of simple-flexible-orthosis made by different materials, and 10 min walking speed and step frequency after wearing orthosis or without orthosis were tested, and a questionnaire was also used to collect the information that the patients using this orthosis during daily living. Results The orthosis made by different materials had different correction force, and the walking speed and step frequency when wearing orthosis were significantly different from that when not wearing orthosis ( P<0.01).Conclusion After the simple-flexible-orthosis made by different materials is improved, the correction force, walking speed, step frequency have increased, and this orthosis is suitable for mild drop foot in patients with hemiplegia during their daily living.
