1.Preparation and Quality Control of Betamethasone Gel
China Pharmacy 2007;0(34):-
OBJECTIVE:To prepare betamethasone gel and establish its quality control method. METHODS: Orthogonal experiment was carried out to optimize the formula of the base material and design the formula technology of betamethasone gel. The content of betamethasone in the gel was determined by UV-spectrophotometry with its stability investigated through centrifugalization,thermostabilization,cold-resistance and long-term tests. RESULTS: The preparation was off-white semitransparent gel,with its property identification in line with the standard specified in Chinese Pharmacopeia (2005 edition). The linear range of betamethasone was 6~36 ?g?ml-1 (r=0.999 9) and its average recovery rate was 98.88% (RSD=0.57%). The stability tests revealed no stratification of the gel. CONCLUSION: The preparation process is simple and the preparation is stable and controllable in quality.
2.Analysis on problems in patent management in hospitals and countermeasures
Chinese Journal of Medical Science Research Management 2010;23(3):174-176,200
Patent competition has become one of the key issues of global competitions in economy,science and technology. In hospitals, the patent management strategy provides guidance for and impels knowledge innovation. However, hospital management is quite weak in China, which may have been caused by various reasons, such as the over enthusiasm for published paper and the technological achievement contrasted with negligence in patent application and exploitation. In the paper, countermeasures are proposed,which include the whole process management during the scientific research, setting up detail targets and standard procedures for patent management, training patent management staff, et al.
3.Thinking of improving management of hospital medical periodicals
Chinese Journal of Medical Science Research Management 2009;22(4):247-249
The management of hospital medical periodicals is now facing many realistic problems such as management system of editorial department, ability of editorial team, quality of articles and outside living environment. Co-publishing periodicals with pharmaceutical enterprises, with foreign publications and innovating publishing model of periodicals have been adopted by some domestic hospitals. By studying cases of periodical management innovation, and summing up the latest domestic point of view on medical periodical management, this paper held the view that the hospital medical periodicals management should be grouped into the framework of hospital scientific research management. Basically, the hospital should focus on solving the problem of management system in priority;developing in a way of specialization, collectivization and brand-orientation;establishing of a high-level editorial team;strengthening international communication and publishing periodicals according to international rules.

Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(06):-
Objective To optimize the technological conditions of polysaccharide extraction from Elaeagnus angustifolia L. by enzymatic-assisted ultrasonic. Methods The effects of different enzymes, enzymolysis temperature, enzyme dosage, enzymolysis time, material-water ratio, crushing degree, ultrasonic time and ultrasonic temperature on the extraction rate of Elaeagnus angustifolia L. polysaccharide was analyzed. Results The optimal technological condition was as follows:1.5% cellulase, 1.5% pectic enzyme, enzymolysis time 40 min, enzymolysis temperature 55 ℃, ultrasonic time 25 min, ultrasonic power 400 W, material- water ratio 1∶30, and temperature 60 ℃. In these conditions, the extraction efficiency of polysaccharide was 12.35%. Conclusion The process is simple and practicable, and can be used for the extraction of Elaeagnus angustifolia L. polysaccharide.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2003;0(10):-
Objective To observe whether recombinant human erythropoietin (rhu- EPO) could cross blood- brain barrier (BBB) of premature infants. Methods Thirty - six premature infants, with gestational age 28 - 35 weeks, birth weight0.05).Conclusion Rhu- EPO can cross the BBB of premature infants.

Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(08):-
Objective To investigate the changes of expression of neuronal nitric oxide synthase(nNOS) after sleep deprivation(SD) in rats,and to study the effects of Xingnaojing on them. Methods Rapid eye movement(REM) SD models(SD group,n=40) were established by the modified multiple platform methods.The rats in SD group were subjected to drug intervention group(n=20) and non-drug intervention group(n=20).Xingnaojing injection was administered to the drug intervention group.Rats in SD group were deprived of sleep for 1,3,5 and 7 d. The expression of nNOS in brain tissues was detected by immunohistochemistry.The rats without SD were severed as cage control group(n=10) and tank control group(n=10). Results The expression of positive cells of nNOS in brain tissues increased with the time of SD,and Xingnaojing decreased the number of positive cells of nNOS.The area density of positive reaction cells in SD group was significantly higher than those in cage control group and tank control group(P
10.Tumor necrosis factor-alpha and heart diseases
Hong CHEN ; Wenlin LIAN ; Li CHEN ;
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(04):-
Tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF ?) is a pro inflammatory cytokine produced primarily by mononuclear phagocytes in blood and different tissues. Current data indicate that adult myocytes can also produce TNF ? in the course of various heart diseases, such as congestive heart failure, myocarditis, ischemic heart disease, dilated cardiomyopathy, and septic cardiomyopathy. Elevated TNF ? is considered to be contributive to the pathophysiology of these diseases. Methods concerning anti TNF ? therapy and their clinical application are the on going investigations.
