Objective To study the effects of oxidative stress on apoptosis of bovine retinal capillary pericytes(BRPs) under high glucose condition.Methods BRPs were cultmred for 6 days respectively in control group(5.5 mmol/L)and in high glucose conditions (15,25,35 mmol/L).The sub-cellular structure was observed under electron microscope.Contents of malondialdehyde ( MDA ) and superoxide dismutase ( SOD ) activities were detected respectively.Results The BRPs showed typical apoptotic morphograpy in the high glucose conditions with the apoptosis rates of(28.35 ±0.84)％,(40.43 ±0.93)％ and(50.16 ±0.60)％ in 15 mmol/L,25 mmol/L and 35 mmol/L glucose condition,much higher than that of control group (4.41 ± 0.66) ％ ( F =21.97,P ＜ 0.01 ).The MDA content/SOD activity of BRPs in high glucose groups were higher than those in the control group(P ＜ 0.01 ).The MDA content/ SOD activity was positively correlated with the apoptosis ratc of BRPs( r =0.893,P ＜ 0.01 ).Conclusion Oxidative stress may participated in the apoptosis of bovine retinal capillary pericytes under high glucose condition.

Objective To investigate the influencing factors on the nursing ability of caregivers who provide service for elderly Methods patients with cardiovascular disease in medical and nursing combination institutions. A total of 276 caregivers who provide service for elderly patients with cardiovascular disease in medical and nursing combination institutions in Beijing urban area were selected as research subjects using the judgment sampling method. The Chinese Caregiver Task Inventory, eHealth Results Literacy (eHL) Scale and Sense of Coherence (SOC) Scale were used to investigate the nursing ability, eHL and SOC. The scores of nursing ability, eHL and SOC of the caregivers were (28.3±6.1), (17.0±5.9) and (69.0±9.4), respectively. The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that caregivers who regarded the occupation as a career, had general or good subjective income, cared for disabled subjects, had a good basic knowledge of cardiovascular disease and qualified eHL had P P Conclusion relatively high nursing ability (all <0.01). The higher the SOC score, the higher the nursing ability ( <0.01). Occupational recognition, subjective income, master the basic knowledge of cardiovascular diseases, disability of nursing patients, eHL and SOC were factors affecting the nursing ability of caregivers who provide service for elderly patients with cardiovascular diseases in urban medical and nursing combination institutions.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of mini-plate fixation for ulnar coronoid process fracture via anteromedial approach.Methods A retrospective review was made on 28 cases of ulnar coronoid process fracture treated with open reduction and mini-plate fixation from April 2010 to December 2014.There were 18 males and 10 females,with age range of 21-60 years (mean,34.3 years).Causes of injury were falls in 21 cases and traffic accidents in 7 cases.According to the O' Driscoll classification,there were 14 cases of type Ⅰ,11 cases of type Ⅱ and 3 cases of type Ⅲ.Time from injury to operation was 2-10 d (mean,3.7 d).Reduction loss,fracture healing time and complications were documented.Elbow function was evaluated at the last follow-up by Mayo elbow performance score (MEPS) and Broberg & Morrey score.Results All cases were followed up for 12-25 months (mean,15.1 months).Restricted elbow activity was initiated one week after operation.Bone united in mean 10.6 weeks (range,8-14 weeks).No nerve injury or fracture redisplacement occurred.At the final follow-up,mean flexion was (124 ± 15)° (range,90°-140°),mean extension loss was (18 ± 20) °(range,0°-50°),mean pronation was (65 ± 18)°(range,40°-85°),and mean supination was (63 ±16)°(range,35°-85°),showing significant difference in comparison with the preoperative measure (P＜0.05).According to the MEPS,the results were excellent in 17 cases,good in 8,fair in 2 and poor in 1.According to the Broberg & Morrey score,the results were excellent in 16 cases,good in 8,fair in 3 and poor in 1.Conclusion Through anteromedial approach,mini-plate fixation of the ulnar coronoid process fracture provides rigid fixation,which benefits joint stability and bone union,and allows early functional exercise.

Objective To compare the efficacy and safety of insulin aspart (IAsp) versus regular human insulin (RHI) used in basal bolus (BB) or continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion (CSII) regimen in patients with diabetes mellitus in Chinese population.Methods We searched MEDLINE (via OVID),the Cochrane Library,Embase,PubMed,CBM,China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI),and Wanfang databases from the beginning of the databases to November,2015.The randomized controlled trials comparing IAsp and RHI in DM were searched.The meta-analysis in newly diagnosed DM and treated DM was performed by RevMan 5.3.Results A total of 40 trials were included in this study,with 1087 newly diagnosed and 2395 treated DM patients.In both groups,IAsp was better in lowering 2 hours postprandial plasma glucose (2 hPG) after breakfast,lunch and dinner (For newly diagnosed population MD=-1.22,-1.70,-1.44;95%CI:-1.79~-0.64,-2.77~-0.63,-2.12~-0.75;for treated population MD=-1.19,-1.14,-1.03;95%CI:-1.39~-0.98,-1.27~-1.02,-1.25~-0.81) and fasting plasma glucose (For newly diagnosed population MD=-0.55,95%CI:-0.97~-0.12;for treated population MD=-0.24,95%CI:-0.44~-0.03) when compared with RHI.IAsp could shorten the time to achieve blood glucose target(For newly diagnosed population MD=-1.58,95%CI:-1.74~-1.42;for treated population MD=-1.73,95%CI:-2.10~-1.36) and reduce the risk of hypoglycaemia compared with RHI (For newly diagnosed population RR=0.33,95%CI:0.19~0.56;for treated population RR=0.44,95%CI:0.32~0.61) (P<0.05).Moreover,the total daily insulin dose was lower in IAsp therapy than in RHI therapy when using CSII regimen.Conclusion In Chinese DM patients,IAsp shows advantages in controlling 2 hPG,shortening the time to achieve blood glucose target and lowering the risk of hypoglycaemia when compared with RHI.

Objective To explore the perfect operation method for patients with vaginal vault prolapse.Methods Twenty six patients with vaginal vault prolapse who underwent transvaginal mesh repair by Prolift from January 2008 to June 2010 were analyzed retrospectively.Results The interval time between the first operation and this morbidity of ten patients who had underwent total hysterectomy for none FPFD ( ie:hysteromyoma et al) was ( 115.2 ±51.67) months,but the interval of sixteen patients who had underwent traditional repair operation (ie:transvaginal hysteromyoma and/or colporrhaphia anterior-posterior) for FPFD was (24.38 ± 13.43) months,which was markedly shorter ( t =6.75,P ＜0.01).The interval time between the first operation and the 2nd operation of the ten patients was ( 142.8 ±59.04) months,but that of the sixteen patients was (62.13 ± 44.51 ) months,which was significantly shorter ( t =3.97,P ＜0.01 ).Their age and POP-Q staging had no difference ( P ＞0.05).All operations were successfully performed by one gynecologist.The average operation time was ( 60.96 ± 7.88 ) minutes,the average blood loss was ( 119.23 ±27.53) ml,and there was no concomitant injury.All patients were followed up of 3 ～24 months.No vaginal erosion and prolapse recurrence happened,and the cure rate was 100％.Conclusions The Prolift system appeared to be a relatively safe and effective alternative to conventional surgeries for the treatment of vaginal vault prolapse.However,long-term follow-up still need to be performed.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the TORCH infection of women with childbearing age in Chongqing.(METHODS) Special IgM antibodies were detected by the TORCH-IgM screen test kits in 2067 women with(childbearing) age,among them 1829 were women with normal childbearing and 238 were women with abnormal one.RESULTS The infection rate of Toxoplasma gondii(TOX),Rubella virus(RV),Cytomegalovirus(CMV) in women with abnormal childbearing was significantly higher than those in women with normal one(P(0.05)).CONCLUSIONS The(abnormal) pregnancy is (related) with TORCH infection.So TORCH screen before pregnancy is very important to aristogenesis.

OBJECTIVE To have a research on the detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis by fluorescence chip of molecular beacon probe.METHODS Fluorescence chip for the detection of M.tuberculosis was designed,based on the better bonding force and specificity of molecular beacon and target molecule.Hybridization efficiency was optimized,which included the concentration and purity of molecular beacon probe,hybridization temperature,hybridization time,the prescription of hybridization solution and the comparing of molecular beacon fluorescence signals of 4 molecules.RESULTS Molecular beacon fluorescence signal approached the highest when the final concentration of Mg was 5 mmol/L and the amplification efficiency of PCR approached the highest.Half extended molecular beacon probe could bind nice with chip when it was middle labeled with quench group.The results of 3 hybridization solutions were as follows: 0.15% SDS better than 0.2% SDS,10?SSC better than 5?SSC.Strong signal of hybridization reaction could be detected when the concentration of Cy3-BDH molecular beacon probe was 15 ?mol/L,the concentration of FAM-DABCLYE probe was 9 ?mol/L and the reaction time was 7 h.The efficiency of fluorescence quenching was higher when the molecule was consisted of Cy3-BDH,other than Cy3-DABCLYE.CONCLUSIONS The design of half extended molecular beacon probe tactfully makes use of the advantages of the high bonding force and specificity of molecular beacon probe on the chip technology.Fluorescence chip of molecular beacon for M.tuberculosis has satisfactory detecting rate,specificity and sensibility.

Objective To investigate the drug tolerance of Acinetobacter baumanni and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia . Methods The antimicrobial susceptibility tests for 275 isolates of Acinetobacter baumanni and 107 isolates of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia from 2000 to 2004 were measured by MicroScan WarkAway 96 The chemotherapeutic effects of 18 cases of sequent infection with Acinetobacter baumanni and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia was analyzed. Results The resistance of the two species of bacteria to twelve antibiotics increased obviously during the last five years, especially from 2000 to 2001. The resistant rate of Acinetobacter baumanni to Cefepime、Cefotaxime、Ceftazidime and Ceftriaxonewas was 20~50% in 2000, but raised to 70%~81% in 2004. For Acinetobacter baumanni to Amikacin、Amp/sulbac、Ciprofloxacin、Gentamicin、Tobramycin and Trimeth/Sulfa, the resistant rate was 20%~40% in 2000, while 63~86% in 2004. The lowest resistant rate was to Imipenem, only 7% or so. The resistant rate of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia to Ciprofloxacin、Ceftazidime、ceftriaxone and Tobramycin was 25%、50%、0% and 0%, respectively, in 2000, but in 2004 year, was 76%、76%、95% and 95%, respectively. Stenotrophomonas maltophilia showed a high drug tolerance to other antibiotics. Conclusion To strengthen the monitoring of the antibiotic resistance of Acinetobacter baumanni and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia and the monitoring of sequential infection in Acinetobacter baumanni and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia is very important for clinic so as to choose antibiotic rationally and improve curative effect

Objective To analyze the impact of rs3826392 polymorphism in MKK4 promoter on prognosis of colorectal cancer cases (CRC) receiving adjuvant chemotherapy. Methods The associations between rs3826392 genotype of 203 CRC cases receiving adjuvant chemotherapy and clinicopathologic factors,overall survival (OS), disease free survival (DFS) were analyzed retrospectively. Results No association was found between rs3826392 genotype and clinicopathologic factors (P > 0.05). TG+GG genotype had better OS (P = 0.018) and DFS (P =0.019) when compared with TT genotype. Cox multivariate model showed rs3826392 TG+GG genotype remained independent favorable factor for OS(HR = 0.389;95%CI = 0.177-0.855) and DFS(HR=0.491;95%CI = 0.271-0.890) respectively. Conclusion -1304G variant genotypes (i.e., TG+GG) in rs3826392 may be the biomarker of better prognosis in CRC receiving adjuvant chemotherapy.
