1.Phspho-ERK1/2 involved in propofol preconditioning on ischemia/ reperfusion injury in isolated renal hypertension rat hearts
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(01):-
Aim To explore the effect of propofol preconditioning on myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury and the role of phspho-ERK1/2 during the propofol preconditioning in renal hypertension rat(RHR).Methods The isolated RHR hearts perfused on langendorff apparatus were randomly divided into 8 groups(n=8 each). After 20 min of perfusion for equilibration, the CTRL group was subsequently perfused by 148 min.The ISCH group was submitted to 35 min of ischemia and 60 min of reperfusion(I/R) to induce ischemia/reperfusion injury. The DMSO group was given by once 18 min and twice 10 min K-H solution containing 20 ?mol?L~(-1) DMSO and 5 min K-H solution reperfusion prior to I/R procedure. The three propofol preconditioning groups were preconditioned by giving 2 cycles of 10 min K-H solution containing 30 ?mol?L~(-1),100 ?mol?L~(-1) or 300 ?mol?L~(-1) propofol and 5 min K-H solution reperfusion prior to the I/R procedure. The PD group and the PD+P100 group were given K-H solution containing 20 ?mol?L~(-1) PD98059,an ERK1/2 kinase specific inhibitor, for 18 min and 5 min K-H solution washout before I/R and 100 ?mol?L~(-1) PPC respectively.Cardiac functional indices were recorded.Activity of SOD and content of MDA were measured. The level of phspho-ERK1/2 protein expression was measured using Western Blotting. Results Compared with those in the CTRL group, the recovery of cardiac functional indices in ISCH group became worse(P

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(15):-
Objective To measure the levels of serum transferrin receptors (sTfR) and serum ferritin (SF) in children with hemoglobin H disease for investigation the iron metabolism(sideropenic or iron overload) and to guide the proper intervention. To get a best index of judging the iron overload in HbH children by analysis of the values of sTfR and sTfR/lgSF.Methods Peripheral blood specimens were obtained from 50 cases of HbH children and 30 cases of healthy normal controls, the levels of sTfR and SF were examined by enzyme linked immunosorbent assays(ELISA).The diagnosis efficiency of sTfR and sTfR/lgSF in HbH children′s iron metabolism was judged by receiver operator cha-racteristic (ROC) curve analysis. Results The level of sTfR in HbH group was (6.74?1.02) mg?L-1,which was significantly lower than that in healthy control group[(8.09?0.67) mg?L-1](P

In order to provide scientific basics for exploitation and sufficient application of Dendrobium officinale leaves resources, the phenol-sulfuric acid method was applied to determine the polysaccharide content. The monosaccharides were derivated by PMP and the derivatives were identified by HPLC-DAD-ESI-MS(n) and the contents of mannose and glucose were determined simultaneously. Similarity evaluation system for chromatographic fingerprint of traditional Chinese medicine (2004A) was employed to generate the mean chromatogram and similarity analysis of the samples was carried out. The results demonstrated that polysaccharide content, monosaccharide compositions and composition ratio had an obvious difference between stems and leaves. The polysaccharide content of stems was higher than that of leaves. Monosaccharide composition in leaf was significantly different from that in stem. The polysaccharide from stems was composed of mannose and glucose, however the polysaccharide of leaves was acid heteropolysaccharide and was mainly composed of five monosaccharides, including mannose, galacturonic acid, glucose, galactose and arabinose. The similarity value of the 14 batches was above 0.9, indicating that similarity of fingerprints among different samples was high. The study can provide evidence for expanding the medicinal parts of D. officinale.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2004;10(12):738-739
ObjectiveTo observe the influence of rehabilitation training on heart rate of stroke patients in the early stage.MethodsThe heart rate (HR) of 30 patients within one week after the onset of stroke was evaluated by FUKUDA DS 880A teleelectrocardiograph and the rating of perceived exertion (RPE) was collected during practicing bridging, rolling and moving the arms.ResultsThe HR of 30 patients was only increased 7.57, 6.23 and 6.57 beats per minute during practicing bridging, rolling and moving the arms. RPE of all patients was less than 11.ConclusionAppropriate rehabilitation training is safety and unable to increase the loading of heart in the early stage after the onset of stroke.
