Background: Hypertension is a common disease worldwide not just in Vietnam. Hypertension causes a series of metabolic disorders such as illness and death from kidney failure, heart failure, cerebral vascular calamity and various other chronic diseases.\r\n', u'Objectives: To discover the real situation of hypertension and to determine various related factors in Hoa Thuong commune/ Dong Hy district Thai Nguyen province \r\n', u'Subjects and methods: A cross-sectional and retrospective study was carried out involving 1970 people;.\r\n', u'Results: 17.7% of them had high blood pressure. The rate of hypertension in men was higher than that in women (20.3% and 15.4%, respectively). The related factors were found in the hypertension group/ including: high rate of glucose metabolic disorder (3.7%J cholesterol metabolic disorder (7.9%), creatinine metabolic disorder (34.1%). The rate of hypertension in the alcoholic consumption group was 1.28 times higher than that in non-drinking group. This difference between smoking group and nonsmoking group was 1.64 times. \r\n', u'Conclusion: Intervention for primary health care should be applied. A health care network for high blood pressure prevention in community should be established. \r\n', u'

The Korean Journal of Parasitology 1963;1(1):11-13
The authors carried out histochemical studies on Clonorchis sinensis, especially, histochemical demonstration of carbonic anhydrase activity. Kurada's method was applied for the histochemicl staining in this study. The result obtained were summerized as follows : Carbonic anhydrase activity was intensely positive in oral sucker cells, reticular tissue cells, epithelium of the intestine and testes, more or less intensely positive in vitelline gland cells and yolk of eggs as well.

Objective To investigate the clinical and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) manifestations of acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM).Methods The clinical, neuroimaging and neuropathological data of a patient with ADEM were analyzed retrospectively. Results The clinical features of the patient included acute onset, paroxysmal dizziness, nausea and vomiting. Cerebral MRI showed multiple, asymmetrical, long T1 and long T2 signals, which appeared periventricular areas and white matter regions of frontal, parietal, occipital and temporal lobe. Pathologic examination showed brain tissue denaturalization with chronic inflammation and massive inflammatory lymphocyte infiltrations in perivascular spaces. Treatments such as surgery operation, dehydration and anti-infection were invalid, while glucocorticosteroid had stable therapeutic efficacy. Conclusions When a patient presents with dizziness, nausea and vomiting, and multifocal lesions appear in the white matter of brain in MRI, the diagnosis of ADEM must be taken into concern. Curative effect of glucocorticosteroid for this disease is confirmed.

Objective To investigate the effects of Jiawei Wuzi Yanzong Pill and its components on central cholinergic system in the model mice with learning and memory disorders induced by scopolamine. Methods Mice were treated by Jiawei Wuzi Yanzong Pill and its components for 15 days and induced by ip scopolamine. After the experiment in Morris water maze, the content of acetylcholine and the activity of acetylcholinesterase from brains of mice were determined by colorimetry. Results Significant differences were observed between model group and naked group that the content of acetylcholine and the activity of acetylcholinesterase from brains of model mice were decreased (P 0.05). Conclusion Jiawei Wuzi Yanzong Pill and its components could improve the function of central cholinergic system by increasing the content of acetylcholine and the activity of acetylcholinesterase and possesses a certain preventive effects on mice with learning and memory disorders induced by scopolamine.
7.Discussion of Teaching Methods in Clinical Laboratory Diagnosis
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2006;0(10):-
"Clinical Laboratory Diagnosis"is a course of trivial and complicated contents, lacking systematization and consisten- cy.Therefore, the students are not interested in acquiring knowledge eagerly. How to improve the quality and efficiency of teach- ing is concluded as clear focus, constant renewed content and attractive class.

China Pharmacist 2017;20(2):380-382
Objective:To establish a volt-ampere polarography method for the determination of thimerosal in chondroitin sulfate eye drops, and study the adsorption of thimerosal in different packing materials. Methods:The hanging mercury drop electrode ( HM-DE) in multi-functional electrode was used and the sample solution was added to potassium chloride-hydrochloric acid buffer solution. Nitrogen deoxygenation time was 200 s, the enrichment time was 60 s, and the equilibrium time was 5 s. The potentiometric scan was performed using a two standard addition method. Results:Thimerosal had a good linear relationship within the range of 0. 01-1. 0 mg· ml-1(r=0. 9990). The detection limit was 1. 78 μg·ml-1 and the average recovery was 99. 1% (RSD=2. 7%, n=9). Conclu-sion:The method is simple and accurate, and suitable for the determination of thimerosal in chondroitin sulfate eye drops. Low-density polyethylene and polypropylene both show obvious adsorption of thimerosal,so chondroitin sulfate eye drops should not be packed in the above packing materials.
10. Effect of hyperlipemia on endothelial function and histomorphology of venous conduit in rabbits before grafting
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;28(1):68-70
Objective: To investigate the effect of hyperlipemia on endothelial function and histomorphology of venous conduit in rabbits before grafting. Methods: Fifty adult male rabbits were randomly divided into 2 groups: one group was fed with normal diet (control group, n=25) and the other with high cholesterol diet (hyperlipemia group, n=25). The blood samples and cervical vein specimens were barvested before and 2, 4, 8 and 12 weeks after feeding. The serum levels of total cholesterol (TC), low density lipoproteins (LDL), triglycerides (TG), and high-density lipoproteins (HDL) were determined. The expression of endothelial NO synthase (eNOS) protein, the production of NO, and the histopathological changes (including the thickness of intima and media, the diameters of the veins, and the presence of lipid or plaque) in the vein specimens were examined. Results: Eight weeks after feeding, the serum levels of TC, LDL, TG, and HDL in hyperlipemia group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.01). Obvious lipid plaques were formed in the carotid artery of rabbits in hyperlipemia group. The jugular veins of hyperlipemia rabbits had significantly lower eNOS expression and NO production (P<0.05). Endothelial denudation was noticed and the elastic fibers almost disappeared in hyperlipemia group; there were no foam cells and lipid plaques. Conclusion: Hyperlipemia may result in endothelium dysfunction and histomorphological change of venous conduit.
