objective Using iodimetric analysis of dual-energy CT,to explore the dual perfusion amount and proportion of hepatic artery and portal vein in different hepatic lobes on normal living bodies. Methods A total of 77 patients without hepatic diseases underwent contrast-enhanced upper abdomen dual-energy CT scanning. The raw data were transferred to the workstation for postprocessing.ROI were selected, then the iodine content in arterial phase, portal phase and delay phase were calculated automatically. The differences of these measures (iodine content and hepatic artery to portal vein perfusion ratio of the left hepatic lobe, right hepatic lobe and caudate lobe) in the left, fight and caudate lobe of liver were detected by using ANOVA test. Results The iodine concentration in the caudate lobe was(851 ± 35)μg/L from hepatic artery and (2912 ± 78) μg/L from portal vein. The iodine concentration in the left hepatic lobe was (445 ± 34) μg/L from hepatic artery and (2373 ± 77) μg/L from portal vein. The iodine concentration in the right hepatic lobe was(504 ± 30)μg/L from hepatic artery and(2515 ± 78) μg/L from portal vein. The perfusion condition (amount of blood supply) of caudate lobe showed a significant statistic difference from the left and right hepatic lobe (P < 0.05),and the amount of blood supply from both sources were more than those of the left and fight hepatic lobes. There was no significant statistic difference in the amount of hepatic artery and portal vein blood supply between the right and left hepatic lobe(P > 0.05).The proportions of blood supply from hepatic artery and portal vein (hepatic artery/portal vein) were different among the three hepatic lobes, which was (28.41 ± 3.42) % in left lobe,(35.76-± 5.80) % in fight lobe and (49.92 ±4.63)% in caudate lobe, respectively(F =5.36,P <0.01).Conclusion Dual-energy CT can be used to study the dual-perfusion condition of the liver. On normal living bodies, the hepatic artery and portal vein perfusion in caudate lobe are different from those in left and right lobes.

OBJECTIVETo assess the platelet and plasma concentrations of fibronectin (Fn) and fibrinogen (Fg) in congenital fibrinogenopenic (FgP) patients and explore their role in inducing platelet adhesion and aggregation.
METHODSA FgP family was selected as study group and the platelets isolated and purified to assess concentrations of Fn and Fg in platelets, alpha-granules and plasma with Western blotting, immuofluoresence staining and flow cytometry (FACS), respectively, the expression of platelets GP II b/III a by FACS.
RESULTSThe concentration of platelets Fn in FgP patients is higher than that in controls, and is higher in homozygote than in heterozygote. In contrast, plasma Fn levels were identical in all samples. The amount of platelet Fg from FgP patients is lower than that from the controls and positively correlated with the concentration of their plasma Fg. No difference in the expression of platelet GP II b/III a had been found.
CONCLUSIONIt suggested that increased platelet Fn could partially compensate the lack of Fg and lead the platelet adhesion and aggregation.

Objective To investigate the value of high resolution CT (HRCT) in displaying the anatomic relationship between labyrinth segment of facial canal and cochlea. Methods Totally 110 patients (220 ears) who underwent HRCT were collected. The original images were transferred to workstation for image processing.MPR images were acquired. The anatomic relationship between labyrinth segment of facial canal and cochlea was observed in oblique coronal MPR images. The bony septum between labyrinth segment of facial canal and cochlea was assessed as definite defect (Type Ⅰ),doubtful defect (Type Ⅱ) or complete (Type Ⅲ),respectively. Results There were 71 ears (71/220,32.27%) of Type Ⅰ,diameters of bone fissure ranged from 0.3-1.3 mm (average diameters [0.64±0.26]mm),86 ears (86/220,39.09%) of Type Ⅱ and 63 ears (63/220,28.64%) of Type Ⅲ,with bony septum thickness ranged from 0.3-1.0 mm (average thickness [0.68±0.15]mm).No statistical difference of rates of the above three types was found between different genders, among age groups and between both side of ears (all P>0.05).Conclusion HRCT is a reliable method to show the anatomic relationship between labyrinth segment of facial canal and cochlea.

Transverse sinus is an important pathway of intracranial venous reflux, which is also crucial for maintaining cerebral circulation and stabilizing intracranial pressure.Transverse sinus stenosis(TSS)is the most common variation of transverse sinus, which might lead to changes in sinus hemodynamics and pressure and closely related to idiopathic intracranial hypertension, pulsatile tinnitus and chronic headache. The progresses in imaging researches of transverse sinus stenosis were reviewed in this article.
