Follicular dendritic cell sarcoma is a rare low-grade malignant tumor. At present, only twenty ca ses was discovered all over the world. This paper reports a case treated in our hospital, explores the clinical manifestations, pathological diagnosis and treatment to provide certain help to clinical doctor in diagnosis and treatment to reduce the misdiagnosis of the disease.

Objective:Longitudinally extensive transverse myelitis (LETM) could be seen in patients with connective tissue disease (CTD), especially systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) or primary Sj?gren′s syndrome (pSS). Some patients are combined with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSD)(termed CTD-LETM-NMOSD) while others without (termed CTD-LETM-non-NMOSD). The aim of this study is to compare the clinical characteristics of CTD-LETM-NMOSD patients to CTD-LETM-non-NMOSD patients.Methods:We retrospectively collected data from 40 CTD patients with LETM who were admitted to the Department of Neurology or Rheumatology at Peking Union Medical College Hospital from Jan, 2006 to Dec, 2016. They were divided into CTD-LETM-NMOSD and CTD-LETM-non-NMOSD two groups. Demographic characteristics, clinical and laboratory features were obtained from the database. Relapse rates and clinical outcome were analyzed by Kaplan-Meier method.Results:Among 40 patients with CTD, 28 (70.0%) were NMOSD while 12 (30.0%) were not. The positivity rates of anti-SSA, antibodies to aquaporin-4 (anti-AQP4) were significantly higher in patients with NMOSD than those in patients with non-NMOSD ( P<0.05). Age, gender, clinical features, disease duration, anti-double-stranded DNA antibody, anti-ribosomal P antibody, antiphospholipid antibodies, expanded disability status scale (EDSS) scores, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) features were all comparable between two groups. CTD-NMOSD patients had significantly higher disease relapse rate (75.0% vs. 3/12, P<0.01). Conclusion:Anti-SSA and anti-AQP4 positivity is associated with NMOSD and higher relapse rates, which suggests that NMOSD in CTD-LETM patients may represent distinct characteristics and pathogenesis from patients with CTD-LETM-non NMOSD.

Objective To explore the effects of Zinc Protoporphyrin and Heme on the expression of HO-1 in cochlear and the change of auditory brainstem response on diffuse traumatic brain injury model of rats.Methods Diffuse traumatic brain injury model of rats were established and randomly divided into thirteen groups.Then auditory brainstem response examination,light microscope,immunohistochemistry technique were used to evaluate the change of auditory brainstem response and the expression of HO-1 in cochlear.Results The differences of auditory brainstem response threshold and latency of wave between the experimental and the normal control group were obvious(P＜0.05).The expression of HO-1 in the control group was normal,whereas there were obvious changes of inner ear HO-1 expression in the traumatic groups.The grey value of HO-1 expression in trauma group,Znpp group and heme group was significantly associated with auditory function change(P＜0.05).Conclusion There were influence of Zinc Protoporphyrin and Hemeon the inner ear HO-1 expression and the change of auditory brainstem response with diffuse traumatic brain injury model of rats.The protective effect of heme on auditory function may be associated with the increased expression of HO-1.

BACKGROUND:There is an increasing demand for orthodontic treatment,and periodontally accelerated osteogenic orthodontics(PAOO)technique can make it possible to move orthodontic teeth that are limited by thin alveolar bone. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the biomechanics of orthodontic tooth movement before and after periodontally accelerated osteogenic orthodontics(PAOO)surgery to increase alveolar bone volume using the three-dimensional finite element method. METHODS:A patient undergoing PAOO surgery before orthodontic treatment to increase bone volume on the labial side of the mandibular anterior region was selected.The patient was under invisible orthodontics.Two three-dimensional finite element models were constructed based on the patient's preoperative and 6-month postoperative cone beam CT data.Both models simulated the movement of tooth 33:experiment Ⅰ:distal-central movement of 0.25 mm;experiment Ⅱ:lingual movement of 0.25 mm;and experiment Ⅲ:intrusion movement of 0.10 mm.The stress distribution and initial displacement trend of tooth 33,periodontal ligament and surrounding alveolar bone under the action of the invisible aligner were analyzed before and after the PAOO procedure. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Dental stress analysis:In the same orthodontic tooth movement,the maximum Von-Mises stress and overall stress values of tooth 33 were all higher before surgery than after surgery;there were similar distribution areas of maximum equivalent stress and overall distribution trends of Von-Mises stress before and after surgery.Periodontal ligament stress analysis:In the same orthodontic tooth movement,the maximum Von-Mises stress and overall stress values of the periodontal ligament were higher before surgery than after surgery,and there were similar distribution areas of the maximum equivalent stress and overall distribution trends of Von-Mises stress before and after surgery.Alveolar bone stress analysis:In the same orthodontic tooth movement,the maximum Von-Mises stress values of the alveolar bone around tooth 33 were higher before surgery than after surgery,while the equivalent stress distribution showed a gradual decrease from the top of the alveolar ridge to the root.Initial displacement analysis:In the same orthodontic tooth movement,the initial displacements in the main displacement direction for all six observation points of tooth 33 were smaller before surgery than after surgery,and showed a tendency to gradually decrease from the tooth tip to the apex.Therefore,there were differences in the biomechanical characteristics of orthodontic tooth movement before and after the PAOO surgery.With the clear aligner,the postoperative equivalent stress values on the dentition,periodontal ligament,and surrounding alveolar bone were lower than before the surgery,and the initial displacements of the orthodontic teeth after the surgery are larger than before.These findings suggest that PAOO can release the restriction of thin alveolar bone on the movement of orthodontic tooth by increasing alveolar bone thickness,effectively improving the force on the roots,periodontal ligament,and alveolar bone,avoiding the stress concentration on orthodontic tooth in the thin alveolar bone area that can cause complications when moving,and improving the efficiency of tooth movement.

Objective To investigate the effect of occupational lead exposure on blood pressure and provide supportive evidence of health protection on lead-exposed workers.Methods 612 workers (452 lead-exposed workers,160 workers as control) were recruited in the battery factory.The blood lead concentration and blood pressure were detected by occupational health examination and biological monitoring.The relationship of blood lead concentration and blood pressure wasanalyzed.Results The blood lead concentration in the exposed group(249.84±137.74) μg/L was higher than that of the control group (117.25±70.15) μg/L,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.01).The difference of abnormal blood pressure and diastolic pressure among the exposed and the control group was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The abnormal blood pressure rate,systolic pressure rate and diastolic pressure rate in the 400～726 μg/L group was higher than that of the 6～199 μg/L and 200～399 μg/L group,and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.01).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the influencing factors of the systolic pressure followed by sex,age,length of service and blood lead concentration,diastolic pressure followed by sex,age,smoke and blood lead concentration.Conclusion These findings suggest that long-term occupational lead exposure may result in the increase of blood lead concentration.

Objective:To investigate the value of an MRI and digital pathology images based omics nomogram for the prediction of recurrence risk in soft tissue sarcoma (STS).Methods:This was a retrospective cohort study. From January 2016 to March 2021, 192 patients with STS confirmed by pathology in the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University were enrolled, among which 112 patients in the Laoshan campus were enrolled as training set, and 80 patients in the Shinan campus were enrolled as validation set. The patients were divided into recurrence group ( n=87) and no recurrence group ( n=105) during follow-up. The clinical and MRI features of patients were collected. The radiomics features based on fat saturated T 2WI images and pathomics features based on digital pathology images of the lesions were extracted respectively. The clinical model, radiomics model, pathomics model, radiomics-pathomics combined model, and omics nomogram which combined the optimal prediction model and the clinical model were established by multivariate Cox regression analysis. The concordance index (C index) and time-dependent area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (t-AUC) were used to evaluate the performance of each model in predicting STS postoperative recurrence. The DeLong test was used for comparison of t-AUC between every two models. The X-tile software was used to determine the cut-off value of the omics nomogram, then the patients were divided into low risk ( n=106), medium risk ( n=64), and high risk ( n=22) groups. Three groups′ cumulative recurrence-free survival (RFS) rates were calculated and compared by the Kaplan-Meier survival curve and log-rank test. Results:The performance of the radiomics-pathomics combined model was superior to the radiomics model and pathomics model, with C index of 0.727 (95% CI 0.632-0.823) and medium t-AUC value of 0.737 (95% CI0.584-0.891) in the validation set. The omics nomogram was established by combining the clinical model and the radiomics-pathomics combined model, with C index of 0.763 (95% CI 0.685-0.842) and medium t-AUC value of 0.783 (95% CI0.639-0.927) in the validation set. The t-AUC value of omics nomogram was significantly higher than that of clinical model, TNM model, radiomics model, and pathomics model in the validation set ( Z=3.33, 2.18, 2.08, 2.72, P=0.001, 0.029, 0.037, 0.007). There was no statistical difference in t-AUC between the omics nomogram and radiomics-pathomics combined model ( Z=0.70, P=0.487). In the validation set, the 1-year RFS rates of STS patients in the low, medium, and high recurrence risk groups were 92.0% (95% CI 81.5%-100%), 55.9% (95% CI 40.8%-76.6%), and 37.5% (95% CI 15.3%-91.7%). In the training and validation sets, there were statistically significant in cumulative RFS rates among the low, medium, and high groups of STS patients (training set χ2=73.90, P<0.001; validation set χ2=18.70, P<0.001). Conclusion:The omics nomogram based on MRI and digital pathology images has favorable performance for the prediction of STS recurrence risk.

Through advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and block chain, it realizes early identification of infectious disease outbreaks, data fusion, multi-cross collaboration, and closed-loop management. It has improved the sensitivity of clustered outbreaks monitoring and the effectiveness of epidemic disposal and provided a reference for grassroots disease prevention and control departments to establish an infectious disease monitoring and early warning system.
