We present a case of transient acantholytic dermatosis which developed on the face of a 19-year-old Korean girl. Asyrnptomatic pinhead to miliary-grain sized brownish papules arranged in a somewhat band-like outbreak along the left side of the nose for about 3 months. Histopathologic findings were similar to Dariers disease. Immunoperoxidase staining showed that IgG was deposited on the intercellular area of keratinocytes around the suprabasal clefts. Skin lesions disappeared spontaneously in 5 weeks after a skin biopsy.

Journal of the Korean Radiological Society 1985;21(2):191-198
Percutaneous biopsy is the most frequent interventional radiographic procedure. Its increased use is relatedto new imaging techniques facilitating needle placement, greater safety of fine needle and advances in cytology.CT because of its characteristic high spatial and density resolution, permits the accurate localization of anylesion in the body. Because of the ability of CT scans to precisely localize lesions and biopsy needle, along withthe delineation of adjacent structure, it is widely used in percutaneous biopsy. Sixty-six cases of CT-guidedpercutaneous fine-needle biopsy were performed in order to diagnose suspected malignant or infectious disease(49malignant and 17 infectious) over a 7-month period(June 1984 through Dec. 1984). Most of these procedures wereperformed on, but not limited to, the lung(21), liver(20), and pancreas(7). The spine and nasopharynx could alsosafely be biopsied. 4 cases of hepatic abscesses were successfully drained following insertion of drainingcatheter under the CT-guidance. The overall accuracy of both suspected malignant and infectious disease was 82%.Complication rate was low as 6%(4 cases only in thorax). Neither complication require any further intervention.Three were self-limited pneumothoraces and one was minimal hemorrhage around the needle tract.

Anisakiasis refers to the infestation of humans by species of marine nematode larvae belonging to the subfamily Anisakiae. An acute abdominal symptom may occur after ingestion of raw marine fish containing nematode larvae of the genus Anisakis. Migration of the parasite into the wall of gtomach, small intestine or, less commomly, the colon elicits a striking eosinophilic granulomatous tissue response. A 39 year old man was visited St. Vincent Hospital because of abdominal distension and tenderness. The plain abdominal X-ray showed ileus pattern suggesting intestinal obstruction. Hence we presented a case of intestinal Anisakiasis combined with intstinal obstruction.

6.Successful Conservative Chemotherapy for Intramural Pregnancy: A Case Report.

Korean Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2003;46(12):2476-2481
More than 95% of ectopic pregnancies involve the fallopian tubes. Other sites of ectopic implantation are less frequent, and a pregnancy in the myometrium is extremely rare. Few cases are reported in the literature which satisfy the criteria required for the diagnosis of intramural ectopic pregnancy, and unequivocal diagnosis without extirpation of the ruptured uterus is difficult. Most of ruptured cases have been treated with surgical modality including hysterectomy, and for more conservative management early detection is important. MRI is a useful, noninvasive and confirmative imaging modality for the detection of intramural pregnancy. Chemotherapy with methotrexate is an effective treatment that allows preservation of reproductive potential in selected case. We described a case of unruptured intramural pregnancy diagnosed with MRI and successfully treated with methotrexate. Theoretical and possible pathophysiologic derangements of this rare pregnancy- related disorder are also reviewed.
