1.Simultaneous determination of contents of ferulic acid and salviamolic acid B in Lemai Granules by RP-HPLC

AIM: To develop a RP-HPLC method for simultaneously determining two components,ferulic acid and salviamolic acid B in Lemai Granules(Radix et Rhizoma salviae miltiorrhizae,Rhizoma Chuangxiong,Radix Paeoniae ruba,Flos Carthami,etc). METHODS: The analysis was carried out on a Diamonsil-C_(18)(200 mm?4.6 mm,5 ?m)column.The mobile phase was acetonitrile-formic acid-triethylamine-water(18.6(∶)2(∶)1(∶)81,v/v/v) and the flow rate was 1.3 mL/min.The detection wavelength was set at 320 nm and column temperature was at 35 ℃. RESULTS: The linear ranges of ferulic acid and salviamolic acid B were within 0.51-5.1 ?g/mL(r=(0.999 9)),35.8-358.0 ?g/mL(r=(0.999 8)),respectively.The average recoveries(n=9) were 99.4%(RSD=1.0%),99.3%(RSD=0.53%),respectively. CONCLUSION: This method is simple and can be used to determine these two components with satisfactory accuracy and reproducibility.
2.Study on Quality Standard of Codonopsis lanceolata

OBJECTIVE: To establish the quality standard of Codonopsis lanceolata.METHODS: C.lanceolata was identified by TLC and the content of ginsenoside in C.lanceolata was determined by HPLC.RESULTS: The TLC spots of syringin and echinocystic acid were clear and easy to identify.The linear range of ginsenoside in C.lanceolata were 2.176~21.76 ?g (r=0.999 8) with an average recovery of 96.54%(RSD=1.2%,n=9).CONCLUSION: Established quality standard can be used for the quality control of C.lanceolata.
